  1. If Professor Turnip hadn't posted pretty much the exact same thing as I was thinking, I would be saying the same thing. It would make sense, in a rebooted world, to tie the Toa to their respective elements, and making Pohatu more stubborn and coarse is better representative of stone and desert.
  2. The Mask of Thermal Resistance sounds like a really good idea. The rest are pretty alright.
  3. From memory (not sure if this has already been stated) the Toa did not in fact view the Shelek as an immoral mask-they wouldn't wear it often due to it's association with the BoM, but didn't consider it's power immoral. Though with the Crast it was deemed immoral because it could 'repel nature' (I don't get it either)
  4. So lately, with all the hubbub about the 2015 reboot of Bionicle, I have been immersing myself in the lore and mythology, becoming particularly interested in Kanohi Masks and their powers. I find it unfortunate however that only the Toa Metru masks have had the differences between the Great and Noble versions explained-we don't know exactly how a Noble Kakama, or Sanok, or Shelek (for example) would work differently to their Great versions. This may be a weird or unusual topic, or something that no one else has really thought about, but in order for me to get a more complete picture of Generation 1 Bionicle I think I'd just like a little more depth into these areas. Especially with regard to the fan-created masks that we don't have much more than a surface-level understanding of. So...anyone got any ideas for how some Noble Kanohi might work? Thanks. Also, slight diversion from topic, but can anyone come up with some good Kanohi Mask names? I need them...for a thing...
