Describe The Sig Of The Member Before You!

OOC: I'll wait for a response from Epix and/or Stormer before having Silke arrive. It feels a bit strange for her to travel from Hero Factory to The Antropolis Pit before anyone responds to Shade. Edit: Actually looking back, it doesn't look like Shade really said anything that necessarily needs to be responded to. It still doesn't sit right with me to have the ship fly in before the others post though.

IC: Shade - Conference Hall Ruins Shade almost felt like pointing out that the ship, if it crashed, wouldn't have a noticeable pilot, but decided that maybe learning how to fly would be best done instead of his usual "Civie Bowling" night once this war was over. To Stormer, Shade said, "Understood." He then proceeded to pull up Silke's private line, "Come get me." Silke replied with a short, "Launching now." Shade then addressed Stormer again, "I'm rather in sore want for another recharge. You and Epix go on ahead in the two ships available. I'll wait for my own to arrive." IC: The Scalpel Silke took the ship out of the bay, up through the atmosphere, and began heading full speed for Shade's location whilst avoiding the other ships and fighters assaulting Hero Factory.

OOC: I meant to post a ship profile ages ago but kept pushing it off. Procrastination is over! SHIP PROFILE: The Scalpel Ship Size:The Scalpel is a one-man light carrier shuttle that Shade uses to transport himself to his assassination targets. It is shaped like a sleek silver arrow head with thrusters on the back, wings on the sides, and a small fin on the top. A recharge station is installed where a copilot’s seat would normally be. There is a small area in the back large enough to hold a land speeder when needed. If the speeder is not needed, the space is left open in case Shade needs to bring the body of the deceased mark back to Hero Factory. This area is large enough to hold two 2.0 models if they don’t mind laying down on top of each other in cramped positions. Land Speeder: The land speeder is just big enough to hold a 2.0 model with a maximum weight limit of 600 lbs. The speeder has almost no armor to speak of (just some light plating over the engine and other major parts) and can reach a maximum speed of 200 miles per hour. There is a small detachable container on the back held on by magnetic systems. The container is 2 ft3 and is impervious to the most common means of detection allowing sensitive items to be carried unnoticed. Pilots: Shade rides along in the pilot seat, but he relies completely on Silke. Silke is Shade’s personalized ship AI that operates all functions of the ship. Communications Systems: The Scalpel has open network channels to receive and transmit to and from Hero Factory’s Assassin Division. This means that the only ones capable of communicating with the ship are those who either find the ship’s frequency code on accident, those who have a high enough clearance and are part of the AD project, or those who are given access to the AD’s line of communication specifically. Navigation and Drive: The star charts and navigation systems are state of the art when it comes to The Scalpel. Every known Star and Planet system is mapped and stored in order for Silke to make the best decisions regarding flight path and ship-to-destination trajectory. The ship was built and personalized for Shade and can track him and fly to him as long as they are in the same system. Shade can communicate with Silke on a private communication line. Weapons Systems/Armor: The ship is designed with a proto-type cloaking device more powerful than most chameleon fields in existence. The field is designed to protect against heat vision or similar heat detection devices, radar, sonar, x-ray, magnetic, and infra-red rays. Even if another ship knew or suspected that The Scalpel was in the area and used the cunning method of scanning the surrounding air’s molecules and atoms (this wouldn’t work in space) to detect the ship sized “bubble” of nothing, The Scalpel would simulate the chemical makeup of the air around it and forgo detection. The armor is light as the ship is designed for stealth, not for combat. The only weapon is a swivel turret on a track that allows the turret to travel from the top of the ship to the bottom and adjoining sides. The turret is a high caliber precision-beam model that excels at exploiting weaknesses in another ship. The beam can only be kept up for 4 seconds before having to cool down for 14 seconds. Propulsion Systems: The Scalpel has 4 hyper-boosters on the back and one attached to each wing. Its maximum acceleration is 8000G. The wings and fin have gaps in the middle to allow the swivel turret to roll around on the track and down the sides without interference. Land vs. Dock (Atmospheric): The wings fold up upon landing, allowing the ship to land in any hangar. It can land in a hangar with a low ceiling as long as there’s room to dock with the wings in flight gear. The ship is capable of landing in water without fear of harm as long as there’s no breach in the hull and the doors remain closed. This came in handy when Shade had to lose a tail over a water world long enough for Silke to tell him how to repair the damaged chameleon field generator. Location: It is currently docked in AD's private underwater hangar bay.

IC: Shade - Conference Hall Ruins "The combat dropship by the docks sounds good." Shade hesitated before asking in a rushed way, "Could I fly this time? I've always wanted to. I haven't had any training or experience or anything but I've always thought I'd be good at it."

OOC: Thanks for clarifying, Fishers! The Amaztastical Lynn, the reason I asked is because Ardor and Fire Lord are practically immune to heat-based attacks. They wouldn't be burned in the slightest.

OOC: The dropship would go through and get shredded to bits. The engines would likely catch on fire, and the pilot would be ejected violently into the resulting fireball. OOC: Then what's stopping characters, such as Ardor or Fire Lord, from waltzing through other than the loss of a ship every time they do it?

IC : Shade - Battle Conclusion Shade turned everything off and pulled his blades free of the dead body. Maybe if there was another core like Kaiba Blader's that existed or could exist in the future, he might not have to be dead permanently; Shade didn't know. In the meantime, they had other things to attend to. "If there's a way to fix him and continue that conversation later, that's the best way to go," Shade informed the other two Heroes. "How are we getting off this planet?"

IC: Shade - Stormer's Battle With Zib's new update regarding a villain operation launching an assault on HQ from space, Shade needed to weigh his options again: 1) He could wait for the battle to reach a conclusion and only interfere if the heroes looked like they might lose; 2) He could murder the villain from behind and let the Recall's time spent in simulation training against this particular villain go to waste; 3) He could walk away. Shade thought about it for a split second before coming to a decision: Epix didn't strike Shade as the type that sulked over dead villains and a threat to Hero Factory was a far more pressing issue than a villain's petty revenge quest. After turning on his quaza link, Shade walked behind Kaiba Blader and attempted to plant both blades in the Ex-Hero's back.

IC: Shade - Battle Of The Old Ones Shade had been right behind Epix and now stood several feet away from the battle torn between his two options of forward progress: Stay where he was, or lunge in with a leading back-stab on the villain. Normally, it would be easy. Normally, Shade would make the shot. But he had once sneaked into the simulation archives in Hero Factory and found that Epix had spent many many hours battling this same villain now facing them. To Shade, killing the eviloid all by himself seemed like stealing from the Recall. For now, he would spectate and intervene only if the heroes looked like they might lose.

IC: Shade - Pit Area Shade lingered for a moment thinking of all sorts of fun things one could do if one owned a personal, life-sized, walking, and talking Mr. Makuro imitation. The possibilities were endless; Shade's thoughts wandered from a live screaming dart board to a punching bag to a bout of assassination practice. Laughing soundlessly, he made his way after Epix to see what sort of help he could lend in the battle against a villain Shade had never seen before.

IC: Shade - Pit Area Shade jumped off the beast just in time to land on the brain he'd offed a moment before. His total power meter was around the 88.57% mark; Excellent. The loss of the anti-brain weapon was unfortunate, but things could definitely have gone downhill had it not been destroyed. OOC: I estimated his remaining power bar using the time lapse of 30 minutes since his last recharge (the one before the conference started). If this seems off, let me know and I'll recalculate.

IC: Shade - Pit-Side Arena Battle Shade picked himself up from off the ground feeling slightly dented around his chest area which had taken the brunt of the impact. He then made his way towards one of the beasts and attempted to climb up its tail/back to get a good slash in on the evil brain sitting on the beast's cranium.

IC: Shade - Pit Above Ground Shade came to a stop next to Epix who, apparently, had already climbed his way out of the hole whilst managing to drag The Weapon along with him. Shade did nothing to let his presence be known because of the crowd and waited for someone else to make the next move.

IC: Shade - Epix Rescue "I'll see what I can do." This said, Shade began sprinting towards the crowd. Shade had always admired Epix's reliability and capability when it came to faulty Heroes in need of involuntary shutdown, and Shade didn't want a Hero with such qualities to be endangered more than they had to.

IC Shade - Where The Dropship Used To Be Someone hadn't been on the dropship when it left: Shade. He couldn't blame the pilot for leaving without him; He was invisible after all. He watched the dropship leave wishing it the best of luck, and then called Zib: "The client is headed your way in safe hands. My job is done. Is there anything else that needs doing or do I need to find transport of my own?"

IC: Shade - Conference Room Refreshed, Shade exited the recharge chamber unheard and unseen (he had his sonic dampeners and his chameleon field engaged). He sneaked into the conference room in the middle of Mr. Makuro's speech and positioned himself in front of the inventor as a living robotic shield against attack. Shade faced the screens behind the head of Hero Factory and had his back to the crowd as he stood there watching Mr. Makuro continue on with his spiel.
