  1. You just killed Toa Ignika! You know, I forgot that I was currently physically existing. Oh well, it will be more interesting this way.

I watch, devastated, as my short-time partner's body dissipates into dust. As I begin to overcome my shock asmy plotline of hunting and protecting Toa Ignika grind to a halt, I suddenly feel something queer.

I haven't materialized for nearly a page, so needless to say, suddenly experiencing physical sensations for the first time in quite a while throws me into an incapacitated state. I am forced to watch as you steal my potential partner and leave me stranded in a boat with a being unknown to me. But wait... Are they wearing a Mask of Charisma?! Well, that could be helpful.

I've never actually used a Mask of Charisma before, so this should be a novel experience. I use the mask to gain my companion and I passage on a nearby fishing vessel. Once we return to port, I use the mask to convince an innkeeper to let Snelly stay for as long as he needs to. I then return his mask. I'm considering getting one of my own, the next time I end up on Artahka or Metru Nui.

Now that I'm back on the mainland, I have to get the Ignika back. That should be rather simple, though - The GPS tracker I attached to the mask makes simple work of finding your location, while a Kanohi Olmak allows me instant transportation to your location... With a slight detour.

Eventually, I make my way to your location, and instead of punching you in the face, as you must have been expecting since you have a spear in my face, I calmly invite you to have a cup of tea with me. We head over to a Le-Koronan tea shop and sit down to have a couple cups. Instead of delivering my demands immediately, though, I keep suggesting we go out for tea. Or coffee, though I probably wouldn't drink anything. That's your preference.

One day, I suggest that you leave the mask, which, until this point has been in your backpack, into your treasury. You think about for a moment, then accept.

Several Ta-matoran wielding spears emerge from your treasury the next night, holding the mask. I pull out the Vahi, and perform a ritual similar to the scene at the end of Infinity War on the Ignika, and my partner comes back to life once more. I shake its hand for the first time, and we begin to prepare for the challengers that will soon arrive.

The Ignika is under my protection.

tl; dr: Since this must exist, I use a mask to drop of Snelly on the mainland. I use an Olmak and essentially convince Laval to give me the mask. The Ignika is alive, I have a physical body once again.

    My Mask.

Thank you very much for compiling these! I do have a question about the Rahi Beasts PDF, though. It seems like part of the words throughout the guide have disappeared. Is this an error on my end, the book's, or during scanning?

The Rahi Beasts PDF is actually the version hosted on Biomedia project, so I had no part in making it. Could you mention the pages that have this problem though? What device are you using to view the PDF?

Most pages actually have a couple letters missing. The greatest amount of missing material, though, seems to be in the Rahaga's introduction to each Metru.

I'm viewing the pdf on a Kindle Fire.

I'm sorry to bother you, if I had paid better attention, I would have taken it up on the BMP forum.

For the record, I got a pair of Gali hooks in a 2005 playset, and they haven't failed me yet. I've also experienced the connection on a Tarakava, and they stuck in its mouth just as well.

To be fair, I haven't ever hooked those two pieces together, so I don't know about their connection.

Mine are pretty good on my Tarakava, too. That might be because of the piece the hooks connect into.

What 2005 playset are you referring to? I didn't know any of them had Gali hooks.

I have the Tower of Toa. One of the battlements, the one with the catapult, used them to stop the ball from rolling off.

    We've got another one.

The first line of the caption really sticks out to me — "B is a mindset." He's referring to the franchise itself as "B." This might shed some light on that hashtag he's been using. #14B2020. Faber could be saying that he's "one for B(IONICLE) 2020."

I made a comment on the post describing the above theory, and Faber responded with, "you are spot on but the name of the project is tbd."

“To be declared”, “The Bionicle Declaration”, “The Bionicle Dedication”, or “The Bionicle Desolation”?

I believe it means "To be Determined."

As a sidenote, I recognize that picture. I think it was previously on Faber Files.

Yeah. That, and that picture reminds me of Ga-Wahi (where Gali probably had washed ashore) or one 2015 picture where the Toa Masters are hanging out in the beach with Easter-Head-like statues in the island of Okoto.

It could actually be anywhere on the island. They all have beaches. I agree that it could be Ga-Wahi, or it could be... actually, I think that arch of rock could be what the Great Telescope rests on.

Arch formations would probably happen frequently around Po- and Onu- Wahi.

    It looks like Po-Wahi.

Quite true. But isn't Po-Wahi known for its bronze colored rock formations further inland? Looking at a map of Mata Nui, Onu-Wahi is shown to have many juts of rock just like these, termed the Papu-Nihu Reef.

  7. Aww... but that's no fun! Since you're obviously on a highway, you have to remain concentrated on the road. (How else do you continually bypass everything?) You don't notice the red sports car coming up on your left, or the Ta-Koro guardsman driving it like a maniac. I think that matoran is... Kalama.

All of a sudden, a guardsman wearing a yellow mask (Jaller?) and a respirator jumps into your car, frees the captive Toa Ignika, and they both jump into the water below. A second guardsman concurrently distracts you. The guard jumps off of your car seconds before your car runs into, and over, the guard rail.

Your car, and by extension, you, falls into the ocean, where you are trapped by the car's falling body slowly, slowly spiraling deep into the abyss. A glowing monstrosity begins to grow out of the depths, and far too late you recognize that the Ignika is very determined not to belong to anyone ever again. Gadunka swallows your car whole.

Fortunately, you escaped the car before it was consumed. Unfortunately, this is Mahri Nui. Your arrival to these tides definitely had nothing to do with any sort of mask. Definitely not. In any case, the waters of Mahri Nui prevent you from exiting the water on risk of death.

Jaller and the Toa Ignika traverse the big blue ocean to an island. But which one? Wait a moment... yes, I recognize that island now. Hmm... that will be interesting. Wait a moment. There's Kapura. And now... they're all gone. Well, that makes things a little more difficult.

    Ignika's Ignika.

Afterword: Oh. I'm sorry. We can perform selective reality reset procedures if you would like. (Reaches into bag, where a glint of orange can be seen.) Yes, I still have it.

In other matters, the Mata Nui Saga a couple pages back worked out just fine.

  9. I agree with Pohaturon. The 2015 set designs were very nice. The 2016 sets though... I feel less strongly about those. The Unity Piece play feature removed any potential of gear functions.

As much as I want to collect older Bionicle figures, that's really all I would want to do: collect them. I probably wouldn't take them out as much as my 2015 sets.

Honestly, I just wish 2015 had collectables of some kind. Even if I wouldn't have got them all, just having them there to think about would have been fun. Not to mention extra money in Lego's pockets because of my attempts.

  10. Well. Thank you, I suppose. Now that you have finally left, the room lies empty. All except for that silver speck. Oh, wait.

Is that the Ignika?! Wasn't that mask yours? Well, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.

    Toa Ignika's... self?

let's get this thread to page four

    :kakama:

Four pages of irony, here we come!

    Sir yes sir!

Well, you're obviously not dead yet. I've seen you posting around recently.

I myself can honestly admit that this is probably the most active stand-alone forum I've seen. I mean, we are faring much better than the Casio calculator forums.

Besides, we could always just use the Mask of Life. I have a feeling that sub-forum will be around for a while as well.

    Casio calculator forums?

    You must be kidding.

    *checks*

    You're not. This is amazing.

    :kakama:

Why would I kid? A friend asked if they could run Gameboy games on their calculator, and so I tried to find out how.

While the capabilities of Casio calculators proved incapable of running Gameboy games, the forum stuck around in my mind because it seems to use the same forum software we do.

A strange phenomenon: One of the most active hours, from my view, at least, is 10 o'clock EST. It's rather strange.

  12. You step on all those LEGO bricks and hurt your feet severely, causing you to drop the mask in pain and confusion.

    It's my mask now.

I am personally insulted. How dare you bypass my post. In any case, your disrespect will be dealt with.

A Dermis Turtle appears behind you. It is... remarkably adorable. Suddenly, you're transported into the lake of Energized Protodermis that was previously JAG18's summer home. You feel the turtle fusing with you...

There is now a fifth Toa Dermis on Lipuret's squad.

As the only person in the area, Laval takes the mask as his own.

    Laval's mask.

I would keep the jumper-beasts from getting dropped into the acid pool in their cave (2014).

Stringer should have been blue the whole time (not yellow). He should also have appeared in Brain Attack/ Invasion from Below (along with Nex).

Alpha 1 should go to base of the guy who unleased the Brains and try to catch him. It would be interesting if it were on a water planet.

P.S. Why are you so determined to have humans involved?

Eh, well, it’s like Transformers Cybertron video games in the early 2010s where the Transformers’ stories of their war on their planet was told before they came to Earth and meet humans. We basically learn facts about the Transformers before they get out often. It’s a fancy way of doing introduction. For the human, I like things to be more humans. Popular franchises are super-successful with that idea. Tell that to the Transformers movies. Lol. But, seriously. :)

It’s something new that I would like Lego to try when they bring back Bionicle or HF. I’m also determined to have a shared universe, too. It’s just that Bionicle and Hero Factory need to get out often after we learn basic things about them. It’s called expanding their universe(s). Plus, they can keep the classic stuff along the way because they’re what they are importantly, and the human thing would spice things up, rather than just CCBS. Just saying my ideas. Plus, I feel that Bionicle and Hero Factory could have potential for greater stuff. I mean, look at Ninjago. :)

The Transformers were designed to interact with humans on Earth, and their stories and toys reflect this. Their entire theme is "Robots in Disguise." Their story was made for Earth, and as you said, was merely a fancy way of introduction. Hero Factory, and Bionicle, were designed as separate universes. "Getting out often" for both of these Lego themes would mean new planets, islands, or possibly another Lego theme.

Hero Factory, though, has already interacted with humans via phone calls and podcasts, so it might be a possible plot point... for Hero Factory.

    I concede defeat.

NEVER CONCEDE! That was just in advertisements for the toys. The interactions never became part of canon!

(I didn't mean to sound like I was angry about this)

I hold no issue. The reference to my concession in bold made the tone of the post different.

Huh. I didn't know that the podcast and phone calls weren't canon. Thank you.

  14. That is true. However, even without sets, I would love to see what the story could do.

The sets drew my interest and brought me here. The story and discussion of it is why I have stayed.

  15. The phrase "Biological Chronicle" does not appear to be copyrighted. Although I would miss sets, I would love for the story to stand on it's own. Many times, the story had to accommodate the sets. If the story were to stand on its own...

  16. Brutaka, The Dermis Turtles, and Turaga Lipuret stare at your summer home, coming up with a plan of invasion. Suddenly, they find that a plan was unnecessary to seize your summer home. A stream of silver liquid seems to have seeped out of a bottle in your pantry.

It flows, its wandering stream causing chaos wherever it goes. This, of course, has the effect of forcing you outside of your summer house with your most prized possessions, including the Ignika. This leads you straight into the hands of the Turaga and his team of Toa.

They take the mask by force, then shove you into the lake of Energized Protodermis that has formed around your summer house. In goes a JAG18. Out comes... Oh. Oh no. What is that? I'm not sure... it doesn't seem like it has hands, though. It sinks below the surface of the lake.

Surprised at their victory, the Dermis Turtles and their master join Brutaka jumping into the dimensional portal to their base. Honor to your Koro.

  17. I left further feedback on this on your Hero Factory post. In short: Transformers were designed for Earth, Bionicle was not. Hero Factory might work due to its marketing.

Brutaka's Game was indeed a comic on DeviantArt, by the user called Saronicle. The main character was a self insert, and ended up falling into Energized Protodermis at some point. I mainly remember the gallery for an extremely amusing comic about Lewa poking Kopaka.
