  1.

Some kind of space, preferably classic. I love the color scheme for those sets.

Maybe they could tie it in with Benny from the Lego Movie.

The Lego Space Movie, starring Benny and his astronaut friends. Possibly with a lesson of acceptance of aliens, other spacemen, ideas, and Duplo?

  2. What's this, Onaku? Brutally murdering someone in cold blood? To shame. In any case, I shall have to try to put a stop to that...

    THIS TIMELINE IS CURRENTLY INACESSIBLE.

WHAT!? Why? ... ... Never mind. I don't really care. Try again.

FURTHER ATTEMPTS MAY DAMAGE THE TIMELINE.

    Try anyway.

    ARE YOU...

    Just do it!

THE TIMELINE YOU TRIED TO ACCESS HAS BEEN ERASED OR DESTROYED.

    Darn it.

But wait... What's this? I'd better hold onto it to stop this murderous rage.

My Mask. And accidentally obliterated timeline.

EDIT: Also, earlier on this now obliterated page, were you promoting MTT?

  3. Nice Parody, though I don't understand Steven Universe.

I mean, they eventually decided that there was no real connection between the shape and the power of a mask, based on the Toa Hagah's masks being in particular shapes that did not reflect the actual mask powers. (Like how Norik's mask was the same shape as Dume's but with a different power.) I always imagined the mask shapes were usually consistent based on some decision by the mask makers to keep things organized, but it wasn't a steadfast rule. And that's why powerless Matoran masks could take on any shape, be it Great or Noble. (And it's not even like the sets stayed consistent; Toa Lhikan's 2004 Hau was a different shape than Tahu's classic Hau, but in the story they were essentially the same mask type.) :music:

Especially confusing since Lhikan’s great hau looked different than Tahu’s great Hau. Lhikan turned turaga (gold good guy) without the mask changing. That mask was then taken and given to Jaller where it suddenly looked like Tahu’s great hau. Maybe Lhikan was like Norik, and had a specially shaped Hau that wasn’t the standard shape. I think that would explain why it didn’t change shape from Toa to gold good guy (doesn’t explain why it changed in the movie, unless the movie is non-canon). This doesn’t however explain why it changed shape when given to Jaller.

Gold Good Guy was originally just that: Gold Good Guy. The Hau did, in canon, change shape, but Gold Good Guy was created as a polybag. It isn't economical to produce a complete new mask for a battery pack bagged set. On top of that, Greg randomly decided that Gold Good Guy was Lhikan. For a little bit of background, check out Eljay's review on the set.

It's possible that mask design varied slightly by island, like other things, such as food and society.

Jaller's mask changed shape by the power of continuity.

  5. I found BZP while trying to find the alternate instructions for the model on the back of the Tower of Toa. I cycled through someone's signature, without realizing what I was doing. I never ended up finding the directions, but I found BZP, so it all turned out well!

  6. Was there, at any point, supposed to be an actual MOC here? Because if you're just saying hi, there's a topic for that. If this was supposed to be a discussion, then you should probably specify that, as well as the a ctual prompt. Here's the link to the welcome topic, if you're interested:http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/13932-the-revolving-door-official-im-new-im-back/, but, seeing as that that was your only post since February, you probably won't see this, or the many, many thank you 's in this topic.

  7. Now there is a notebook with doodles of laser sharks. The quiche silently sneaks up, grabs the mask and notebook, avoids the volcano T-Rex, and gives the mask and notebook to Rassilon.

    His Mask.

I've been thinking, it'd be really nice to have a physical version of this. Even better if it had some sweet cover artwork, like the Harry Potter novels have. I wonder if there'd be artists in the fandom interested in providing illustrations of key moments of the story as covers for a physical version of this.

I don´t think it even needs a very fine piece of art. Something minimalistic, like The Three Virtues Symbol with the BIONICLE title and the Autor on a black, rough cover it might work well; something elegant, exquisite and for a good taste at the view.

Some fan art would probably make a nice cover for paperback versions, while The Three Virtues on a leather background seems perfect for a more hardcover type book.

One time, when browsing on DA, I found this picture:

    https://www.deviantart.com/art/In-Great-Spirit-we-trust-481058766

I think that that might make a good softcover/dust jacket cover, if a physical version was ever printed. A physical copy would probably end up costing a lot, though.

EDIT: That picture might be a spoiler, so for first time readers...

  9. It has been mentioned a couple times: BZPower won't be dead until every single person on the internet decides to leave.

(Clarification: On the site, not on the entire internet.)

People are coming back to voice their opinions on wether or not the site is dead, helping to recuperate the site in the process.

In any case, most people on this thread need a hug, or at least an emoji of one.

(I apologize that I'm unable to provide one at the moment.)

I personally liked the first season's premise the best. The designers for this theme must be really stretched for ideas, given the near ridiculous number of snakes in previous years. The sudden design change of this season was rather off-putting, not to mention that we're only getting three Macguffins this season, down from four, five, and seven, during Skybound. That... might have been a joke. To me, personally, the story has gone down in quality. It has gone from very few issues in early seasons to testing the continuity every time something happens. I haven't seen the most recent season, though from what I just read, I assume that it wasn't a masterpiece. Some issues are questions like what happened to Wu? What happened to Pythor? The Dragons? The realm crystal? Almost all of the previous weapons? Even Master Yang. And, once the nindroid menace passed, why didn't Lloyd attempt to get his powers back via the united elements? I end up seeing a lot of holes in the tapestry that is Ninjago. The sets do seem cool, though I don't have any or investigated them in depth. When I was writing this, I realized something. The ninja are now collecting masks. Take that as you will.

A couple of the supposed plot holes you describe are almost certainly intentional hooks the writers left for future stories: we're apparently supposed to learn more about Wu's fate in Season 8, and more about the dragons in Season 9.In the case of Pythor, he's probably lying low and scheming somewhere, like any career criminal might do if they manage to make a clean getaway after their latest plans have been thwarted. Also, we were already shown where the Realm Crystal is at the beginning of Skybound — in Cyrus Borg's vault. Because most of the events of Skybound were undone by Jay's wish, Nadakhan never would have retrieved it. And after Day of the Departed, Master Yang is still the Temple of Airjitzu's resident ghost, albeit keeping his presence hidden from all the ninja but Cole.

Oh. Alot of that makes sense. The dragons have just been missing since season 3, and the realm crystal just disappeared after Skybound and was never mentioned again, so I was just wondering about them. The dragons, though pose that question about what happens if they decide to go in different directions. (Not really a joke.)

I suppose they aren't plot holes, exactly, just missing pieces of information that I, personally, wished were resolved better. So, I guess most of those are just me.

  11. These heads... Don't have a good relationship with me. Almost all of my Florescent neon heads have snapped joints. And since I don't want to use my 2015 toa pieces, they're the only heads I have. But, they don't even need a mask to look right. I rather like that versatility, though I use helmets whenever possible. A stronger head-joint and more colors would be nice, though.

  12. Well, for Le-Wahi, drums seem right. For Ta-Koro, a motif like one used in their sound effect sounds okay. Really, MNOG style music is the way I might go. There was a topic with an album, which should be in Fan-Created Media, or a search for Bandcamp on the front page. The first album, at least, is very good for Mata Nui. Metru Nui should sound rather industrial, I think. For Mahri, Voya, and Karda Nui, I don't really know.

  13. 1. Well, Voya Nui was directly above Karda Nui, so that could have something to do with it. Or it might have something to do with... Well, an example might be better for this. Mata Nui falls on his back. Voya Nui, having been attached like a plug over Karda Nui, and thus a seperate piece, is carried by momentum through the top of it's dome. Come to think of it, if Voya Nui even crashed through the dome and is now floating, then the entire MU should be flooded... My apologies. My thoughts went everywhere while writing that.

    2. See Karda Nui theory above.

    3. As far as I knew, they hid in caves.

    4. That was supposedly fixed by the staff of Artahka. As to the rest, I... really have no clue.

    5. ... ... ... I have no answer.

    6. There was apparently a gate between every dome. If you look through the archives, there may have been a discussion about those.

I... may not have helped. There are too many ellipses in this post. Hopefully you can get something useful out of my rambling.

EDIT: I got kapura'd by Planetperson, who explained it much better.

  15. Since your autocorrect is going off, you are sentenced to...

    DEATH! BY! LOGIC!

    Anyway...

That food... Do you remember giving a quiche in that pie game about a year ago?? Well, quiches are very emotional foods, and your quiche felt abandoned when you just left it on the table. That quiche has been searching for you for years, and that food you mentioned...

    It's the quiche.

So, the quiche is so happy to see you, that it attacks your face. It hugs you tight. You drop the mask to hug it back, having not seen it in years.

Also, sorry about that joint planetary investment. It really sucks that the planet blew up.

    Almost forgot-

    Exo-Suit's Mask.
