Nothing's changed with school yet. I've been spending this weekend goofing off working on homework. It's really nice to have that extra day, as it became evident over this weekend that I'm not ready to go back to school. In all honesty, I get an overwhelming feeling of depression when I begin doing it. Of course, it wears off soon after, but you know what they say: the hardest part of doing your homework is getting it out of the backpack.

That's pretty much it on the Life side of this blog. For those who haven't seen my signature, Cyan Productions is coming out with a "new" game. Technically, this game has been around for a long time, but like the Legend of Mata Zuto games, The Son of the Toa has been revised and updated with new features, smoother gameplay, and a more interesting storyline. See what Takua95, our Game Editor, had to say when playtesting it:

I have full confidence that Takua's view on the new game is accurate. I've yet to play it myself, but I will try and make time once it's released. Here is what you're expected to see when you first play this RPG:

    Love it.

    And one last thing,

^Go there, please. Awesome site, and well-written articles for you to enjoy!

... and besides that, nothing much has happened outside BZP. I have 13 credit hours this semester, as opposed to the usual 16 I've been having. I am hoping this will result in all A's so that I can up my (apparently) lacking GPA. Getting some financial aid stuff worked as out well, but at least now it seems that I'll definitely be receiving it *phew*

I'm also job searching, which isn't very fun, especially when you spend 30 minutes to an hour filling out an application that just ends up being ignored. I need a job though. I'm still recovering from the bright idea I had last summer to rebuild my desktop computer that currently has a fried motherboard (protip: never by a $40 mobo, no matter how good of a deal it seems).

Wow, that was a lot more then I thought it'd be. It's nice to have an actual blog entry for once too, as opposed to me just advertising stuff.

We're almost to the end of this... interesting decade. Certainly glad to have been a part of it. Everyone born from tomorrow on will have missed all the fun! Also, y'know what'd make a good resolution? Try checking out the RPG forum, especially you Epic writers. Specifically, check out the all-new BZPRPG that'll be showing up in a few hours. Guaranteed fun or your money back!

Anyway, I won't be online for New Years, so I hope you all enjoy the switch from 2000s to the '10s. Happy Early New Year!

Great Christmas indeed! We had a little Secret Santa spiel in our family, so everyone got one another 1 or 2 gifts.

    I got three things:
C++ Primer by Stanley Lippman and Barbara Moo
    $50 Wal-Mart gift card
Digital Chromatic Tuner (y'know, for instruments)

They were all stuff that I wanted, and I'm really glad to have gotten them. I'm cracking open the C++ book right now improve my fluency in C++.

Hey, you guys might wanna check this out. It's just a prototype, but so far, it's shaping up to a really fun 3D game. Feel feel to share you thoughts!

Alright, guys. Brickshelf may be back, but honestly, there's no reason to use it any more. Use this tool to download all your images from there, and switch to a more dependable image host.

Thanks to Cholie for reminding me about this tool. Unfortunately, you can't get you Maj pics from this.

... in the BZPRPG at least.

For the first time in the BZPRPG's history, a region has been pummeled so many times by evil organizations that city just collapsed on itself. Subsequently, the RPing topic was closed, since there's nothing there.

Now what's happening? Cities and organizations are gearing up for a war against the Cabal of Cruelty. It'll be interesting to see what my character or my city, Zuto Nui, will do, since they supply power to practically everyone, including the CoC. I don't know for sure, but I think that they're a huge comsumer of Zuto Nui Power's company's electricity as well. It means Mr. Dyrnn will have to hit the books and see about what he'll have to do to minimize profit loss.

That's pretty much it as far as BZPower goes. Oh, and I finally finished that Wedding Arc with Friar Tuck. The reception was cancelled though, so there won't be a party.

So, um, I got a question for you all.

What do you say to someone who's just said that? How should one respond? I... got nothin'. Well, nothing civilized anyway.

After much time passing, I finally present to you two new BZP Software Library staff members. One of these members will be in a brand-new staff position here. This position, the Awards Management position, oversees the awards that are given out to games. There are 8 awards: 4 Editors Choice Awards and 4 Categorical Awards(1 Best Music Award, 1 Best Graphics Award, 1 Best Storyline Award, and 1 Best Gameplay Award). When a category gets a perfect score, it is in the running for the award for that category. If two games are in the running for a Categorical Award, it will be the Award Manager's job to play both of these games and decide which one gets the award.

Please welcome Beorc as our new Awards Manager, and Zorrakh, our new Reviewer!

For the rest of you, I'm still taking applications if you think you're up for the job. Click here to see what you have to include in order to be considered!

    I will be waiting patiently.

We're still recruiting for our Software Library! If you like to play downloadable BIONICLE computer games (not something that's common besides Glatorian Arena) feel free to apply!

Welcome everyone! We at the Software Library are in need of some individuals with a taste for video games! We'll need 1 to 2 new people to help get all of these games nice and rated. If you think you can review fan-made games objectively, send me a PM with the following to help us see what kind of gamer you are:
Favorite Video Game (include genre): Reason(s) why it is your favorite: Review this game in the Software Library format (see below). This is important to see how you can handle critiquing your "favorite": Most disliked Video Game (include genre): Reason(s) why you hated it so much: Review this game in the Software Library format (see below). This is important to see how you can handle critiquing your "dislikes": Are you more of a casual gamer or hardcore gamer? What (in your opinion) is the most important aspect of a game? Does it depend on the genre? To use the rubric:
Use the percentages as points (up to 100). Divide earned points by total (eg. 80 / 100). Multiply that by the number of actual points (eg. 25 points) Software Rubric:
