    Today did not go exactly according to my plans.
     
    I woke up expecting to get some of my work on my list done such as, read and take notes, make my sunday comic, work on some music, and so on.
     
    Nope. We went to my grandma's house and swam, then went out to dinner, had ice cream, and then went back to her house until 10:50 p.m. >< We got home at 11:00, and I had no time to do anything.
     
    Oh well, I hope tomorrow will be easier to do stuff.

    Ok, well yesterday, I worked on some stuff due to boredom, so here they are.
     
    First we have a Moc I am working on, I have his first leg here, but I want to attach a Kanohi Pakari for a shoulder pad, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

    A Moc In Progress...

    Well I finally got off my lazy *you know what* and decided to Moc for once, I had an idea of this really cool head with spikes coming out of the back, in a brute sort of way. And I think Im going to use Kanohi Pakari's as shoulders along with two Visorak feet for the point to his tail.
     
    Well here is what I have so far, not much, it is only his head spikes, but it's a start:

    Bitter Sweet

    Talk about bitter sweet...
     
    Well I woke up very late today, and decided that since today was the beginning band concert I'm not going to help them out today. I didn't go, and I actually had a good lunch for once. Then at 1:15 I went over to band, I didn't want to play to much today, because I wanted to save my chops for tonight. (our concert) Well everything went smoothly at practice, My solo went fine, and I was hitting everything, I took some things down an octave, just to save my chops. Then I went home and had some Nachos. I worked on the Moc some more and got one of his legs done, although I am a little frustrated that I can't get the mask on as a shoulder pad so far. Oh well. I went on BZP, and then it was time to go.
     
    I got dropped off at the school where we were preforming and waited for my girlfriend to arrive. When she did, we watched all the beginning bands, and strings play their concerts. There were a lot of squeaks and random bad notes, but it was all still good, and they did fairly well for a beginning class. Then We were up. The first song went well, the second song went well, and the next song, my solo, went BLAH! I was so mad, I took in too much air before I played and you could hardly hear my entrance, then going up a scale I completely lost all tone and then ended O-K, sigh I was so depressed, but I am happy that I played all the High notes in the next song. Although I wold have gladly sacrificed hitting high notes for getting a good solo. ><
     
    Oh well the kids all enjoyed Spongebob, which was our encore song, but I was very mad we had to play it considering it's such an annoying repetitive piece. Anyway, then after word I went to Toppers for some pizza. Then went home, and had to say goodbye to my Girlfriend, because she's going camping for 3 days, and won't be back until Monday, and I can't talk to her up there because there's no service. Grah! Just keeps getting better...
     
    Anyway, I think I'm going to go draw something, to take my mind off stuff.
     
    Next session ( which is on Monday ) I will get that solo right! I am determined.

    Sigh, every time around 10:50 PM, to 11:45 PM, BZP is always slow or down, I can never post, and this is usually when I post my entries, oh well I guess I have to deal with it... anyone else experiencing this problem?

    Today was a nice day.
     
    I woke up at 9:25 and went on BZP, then I took a shower, and had some chicken for lunch. The I was hauled to band. I didn't really do anyhting today there, but my friend from Marching Band came because his mouthpiece was stuck and I told him my teacher could get it out for him. Which he did, he usues a special mouthpiece-removing tool. Then begginging band was done and I waited for concert band to start.
     
    Once concert band started we went through the usual, and I ofcourse got my solo perfectly. ^^ Then my teacher disscused about the concert tommorow ( I'll give more details tommorow. ) Then after concert band, I was picked up by my girlfriends mom, and I went to her house. First we made something to eat, and then we had ofcourse another water fight. ^^ I think she won this time thoguh, since I ended up the one most sobbing wet. Oh well it was all fun, then my mom came and picked me up and I stared to think once I got home weather I should Moc or not. ( I havn't Moc'd in about a year.) So I decided, what the heck. Drew out a Rough image on how I wanted it to look. I started and got a little bit of the head done. ( I'll post pics when I get a chance. )
     
    Then I declared the winner for my filler in my comics, and now I'm off to read, yay note taking....

    Windy Duke

    Well, I was very happy today, I had a lot of fun.
     
    Woke up did my normal routine. BZP, shower, scarfed down lunch, and went to band. Helped the same kid as yesterday with "Duke of Windsor" and then was done. Concert band started and we went through the usual. I got my solo perfectly and I was very satisfied. ^^
     
    Then my mom picked up my girlfriend and I form band and went to our house. We had some chips and Lemonade and talked while my little sister (6 years old) tried blowing very loudly into a recorder. We still told her she did a good job, haha!
     
    Then she stayed for dinner and we had noodles with chicken and cookies, yum. After that she got picked up by her dad and brother. Then I went on BZP and found that my name had been taken off member spotlight. Oh well, it great while it lasted. ^^
     
    Now, I'm just looking at some music and going to read some more of that stinking rule book.

    Oh man, oh man! I am so happy, more about that later. ^^
     
    First I wake up, and do some daily chores (feeding cats, and my fish, Marvin ( guess where I got the name from) ) Then I surf some BZP, I eat, and look over some of the Warhammer stuff I had read the other day. Took a shower, contemplated going to the Beginning Band today, because I didn't really feel like scarfing down a lunch today. Somehow or another, I'm in a car on the way to the Beginning band class. There, I helped some Trumpet beginner with note number 3 ( A natural ), my teacher makes an "easier" version of music for the Beginners, notes 1,2,3,4,5 starting with F natural, and ending with C. I helped him, by telling him to use more air support, and what do ya' know after actually using his lungs, he hit the note. ^^
     
    Then I waited for Concert Band to start, then to find out my girlfriend got her permit today, because I guess she's driving a little bit on the way to Oregon, when they go on their trip next month. I really personally don't want to drive ( shocking, I know ) but I'm a little nervous. Anyway I should be getting my permit soon, ( yikes ) but my mom hasn't set a date to take me, and plus I still need to go over the Handbook one more time. Where was I....BAND! yes thats right, Well we set up and started to play through our music, I was very happy that ( excluding being flat ) I played my solo perfectly, (yay ^^) although it really isn't that hard of a solo, but it is nerve racking playing by yourself.
     
    After band I went home and stayed on the computer most of the day, I made a new "Mostly Harmless" image ( if you haven't already noticed. ) Just a little glare effect and shadowed the text along with adding the word "Blog" at the bottom. after that, I had dinner, which was some pasta. Then went back to my room to read more of the Warhammer rule book. Suddenly my dad called me out to the office and gave me the "Letters from Iwo Jima" soundtrack that I have been looking every where for! Somehow he managed to find it, and now, guess what I'm listening too? The music is very elegant, and has an amazing Trumpet and Piano solo. This was just part of my goodness today ^^
     
    Then while chatting with Dlakii via PM, I went to the homepage since when it was 10:00PM my time. The homepage changes because it's midnight BZP time. I was checking to see some of the updated hot topics only to find the most Mind blowing, awesome ( trying to contain the Newb-ish inner self ><)

    I took a double take, no actually I think it was a quadruple-take! I thought this could never happen to me, I would always see people getting them but not me. I gave up hope two years ago, but there it was sitting right on the the screen in front of me. I pretty much cried with giddy joy! ^^ Sigh...
     
    and That my friends is why I am so happy, because for the next couple of days, every BZP member who goes to the homepage and scrolls down will see "Tahuri" in bold. ( sadly the T will be lowercase >< ) I don't care, it had finally happened. ^^
     
    Alright thats enough for today, I'm now off to post the new filler for my comics.

    Tickets Please!

    Wow today was funny ^^
     
    I woke this morning and did my daily BZP routine. Posted some comments and then had breakfast, i think O.o , oh yea forgot about that >< Ok then, skipped breakfast and then took a shower. Scarfed down some chicken for lunch and I was off to band.
     
    The beginners today learned three more songs, one including "French Folk Song." I didn't really help much, and when the session was over My teacher had to stop by home real fast to get some lunch, so he kicked me out (not literally). I sat on one of the high schools bench's played some Crosswords on the DS, and waited for my girlfriend and her brother to arrive for Concert Band. When they did my teacher had just gotten there so we wandered in and set up. We got copies of the two new songs we played on Friday, which was "Cavalry Trot," and "Amber Moon." I like the song Cavalry Trot, but playing it, is just really high, the dynamics are intense. goes from a above the staff A-flat sixteenth note to an above the staff G quarter note tied to a high C quarter note, In simple terms: High and Hard! >< Amber Moon is fun and a nice sounding Asian like song, and plus I have a solo in it. Sadly I didn't count and was a beat ahead, sigh... oh well. After we ran through the new songs, we played through the rest.
     
    Then my Mom took forever to pick me up and I was sitting in the heat for a while. She finally came and we got home. Then left to go pick up my little sister from her friends house. While I grabbed a bite to eat (Nachos) I started to watch some T.V. I saw the funniest commercial. It was advertising for some Magic Carnival show out in who-knows-where, and I was thinking in my head: "Lame" until the voice on the T.V said this: "Free entry with your ticket!" I was laughing so hard. I mean I hope it's free to get in after spending $10.95 (not including tax) on some ticket. If you had to pay again after you bought your ticket I'd be a little worried.
     
    Then my Mom got home later after going to the Library I guess, and she made dinner. After I ate, I talked on the phone, and surfed some BZP. Then decided to get out some Warhammer stuff. So I'm now reading the rule book. I've only gotten through the introduction and some squads stuff along with the dice section, other than that I haven't read any more of it.
     
    Speaking of reading I have now finally finished Kite Runner and now have to read it a second time, and take "Copious Notes" on the book. Then of course there's the essay we write about on the third day of school, and the questions we need to answer as well. There's H10 English for ya' (They're lucky it's a really good book)
     
    Well I'm off to read Kite Runner again, Tah Tah!

    Sugary Sweet

    Wow, today was a very nice Sunday. Surprisingly it didn't rain, like it said it was supposed to, even though it said it was going to yesterday too. Anyway, woke up and posted my new comic, then watched some cartoons with my sister. I wasn't really paying attention much, my mom had made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and I was too hypnotized by the sweet surgery scent. ( am I making you hungry? ^^ ) then after breakfast I took a shower, and went on the computer some more.
     
    Later I got ready for lunch, which our family ended up going out to lunch with my Aunt and her fiance'. we went to some Mexican restaurant called Yolanda's. It was O-K but the food was a little overpriced. $10.16 for three chicken tacos and some rice.
     
    Then we left and stopped by their house so my dad could fix their computer, and me and my sister played with their dog and talked with my aunt along with my mom. Then we left and I came home and just surfed the internet until Dinner. Then I got into dad's Warhammer stuff and now I've decided I'm going to try and learn the game ^^ going to take a while, but I'm up for a challenge.
     
    Now I'm off to read! Tah Tah!

    Random factoid of the day.
     
    I have discovered that it is impossible to have your hair symmetrical. One side might be perfect then you look on the other and its maybe a little crooked, or slanted some what. It is very frustrating. Unless you bald, of course I think even then not everyone has perfectly round skulls...

    Crazy Week

    Due to BZP's recent downtime, I basically wrote blog entries for those days, so instead of posting them all individually, I thought i'd just post them now.

    July, 9th 2008
     
     
    Today was sort of, well interesting.
     
     
    I woke up and took, a shower, then I geld my hair, and when I went to put my contacts in they started to burn my eyes real bad ( Note to self: put contacts in FIRST, then gel hair.)
    Went to band as usual, and I helped out some beggining Trupet player on how to play the right note. ( they learned concert A today.) Then at 1:30 pm the Concert band started and we did some sight reading and went through the usual pieces.
    Then went to the Library to return some books, and went home. I worked on some comics and sprite work. Then we went out to a pizza restruant and ate. when i got home, I continuously checked BZP to see if it was back. Ofocurse, it was not. So I started to continure readiong the book we need to have finished for Honers English Honnors 10. It's Kite Runner, I recommend it to any incomming Sophomore because it is really good, but very depressing and alittle dark, but really good. After reading it i got sorta depressed, then drank some water.
     
    Well tired now, so see ya in the morning!

    Wow another day where BZP is down this is kind of getting ridiculous considering I've been pretty bored over the summer. Oh well I'm sure the admins are doing everything in their power to fix it. moving on.
     
    Well today i woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock, and then took a shower, check my computer again, and ate lunch, then I went to band and helped with the begginers. I feel really bad for one of the Trumpet player beceasue everytime i have to keep helping him with it, he does everthing right, but just gets to hard on himself when he doenst get it right the first time, which he needs to understan NO ONE gets it right the first time. ( Trust me I know. ) Then we had concert band ad went through the usual, and sight read two interesting pieces. One was a Suite so it had four songs in one song, and we also played some swing(ish) jazz song which we never finished becasue it was time to go.
     
    When now i'm back home and being forced against my will to read for the rest of the day, blech I hate reading but it is such a good book. Alright have more tommorow, hopefully BZP will be up.

    Wow, I wake up hoping BZP will be up again, but ofcourse not. Oh well I hope it will be up soon im getting alittle depressed not being able to go one.
     
    Anyway, my day.
     
    Got up, showered, the works. Then mom drove me to band. Helped the begginers, and the same kid was having trouble with his Trumpet, now i really don't think Trumpet is his instrument, he just can't buzz, and he's way too hard on themselfs. They learned they're first song though "Hot Cross Buns," music to my ears, haha. After that I waited for Concert Band to start and played some crosswords on my DS. Then it began and we sight read this piece, that wasn't hard, but my lips decieded they were going to have bad tone today, I basically sounded like a dead elephant today, oh well it happens, even to the best of us. ( I'm a Trumpet player i can be concieded, haha! ) anyway after I went to the Libray with my Girlfriend, and she checked out some books ( not much of a reader myself, but shes a bookworm. ^^) then she stayed for dinner at my house and we played Janga, then my mom took her home and I found out that her parents invited me hiking, i'm pretty happy I havn't gone since I was like 7. Well i'm off to read my book and then hike at 7:15am, hope BZP is up when im back.

    Well I just thought you all might like to know, i'm trying to warn as many people as possible (such as Dokspit, and admins), that me and Kotahn found a glitch in majhost.com that effects anyone who are hosting images form that site. They have decided to chage they're name from majhost.com to Majhost.com.
     
    What does this do you ask?
     
    Any image hosting from that site gets the big red "X" box of doom (no not the game console) and any URL linking to it will get This message and you won't be able to view what your linking to.
     
    Ho do you fix this problem?
     
    All you need to do is in any link you have containing majhost.com switch to, Majhost.com.
     
    ex. www.majhost.com/member-name/Title to www.majhost.com/member-name/Title
     
    Just thought i'd give you guys a heads up.

    Hike Of Forever!

    Wow today was very, VERY jumbled.
     
    I woke up at 6:05 am to get ready for a hike with my girlfriend's family. We went on this one trail and hiked for about an hour and a half and walked a total of 6 miles altogether. Then we went back to her place and I gave her brother a Trumpet lesson which he did really well, and I got another $10. Pretty awesome. Then her brother left, and my girlfriend her dad, and I played this really cool board game called Heroscape which took about an hour, it was a very fun game and it reminded me a of a simplified version of Warhammer 40K. We played capture the flag then just fight to the death, and my girlfriend won both times. ( stupid Zombies wouldn't attack, I kept rolling shields or blanks. >< ) Then we had Lunch.
     
    Then I got asked again to stay for dinner, which I of course agreed to. Then we watched a movie. after that we both practiced our instruments.( We played our summer band stuff, she's a Clarinetist. ) Then we had dinner and had another huge water fight, which this time it was her brother against me and her. Eventually it turned out to be who ever could get the the hose the fastest and get everybody wet. haha ^^ Then I dried off and got picked up.
     
    Came home and found out BZP was finally up. I updated all my blog entries and added a new banner, which I'm quite satisfied with. Now im just trying to get orginaized. Then Im going to read. ( hopefully finish the book.)

    Loco!

    Today was a very long day. I went to band at 12:00am, and helped out with the little beggining musicians. They only really learned how to hold their istruments, which i helped out the Trumpets and showed them to hold it correctly. It's really common sence in my opinion, but then again I would be a hippacrite since I believe I held it wrong then too.
     
    Then at 1:30 Concert Band began where we played a new piece called Patton which was a very nice March, that included some tricky 6:8 counting. then we played the usuall, Songs from Chicago, Tiajuana Brass, Gypsydance, and Spongebob theme. Then I went home and asked my mom, if my friend (Kotahn) could come over. She said yes, and we pretty much discussed about the majhost.com crissis, and other topics. Then watched Pixar shorts on Google Video. He left and we were deciding on what to eat.
     
    I was disappointed at first when my mom utterd the word "El Pollo Loco". Blech. Then I had three Crispy Chicken tacos. They were Delicious! and I didn't even finish the third one I was so stuffed.
     
    Then I went on the computer and worked on a filler for my comic. Then I had to read, and went to bed. ( at 12:00 pm.)
     
     
    Pretty long day if I do say so myself.

    Boy what a day!
     
    I played in this summer band course with my old middle-school music teacher conducting the class, it was very nice to see all my friends again, and my teacher. We are playing two lame songs though. Spongebob Squarepants theme, and this other boring song that can't come to my mind at the moment. (Gypsy something.) I don't have anything against Spongebob, it's just I'd rather be playing Fanfares and fast tempo music than " ARE YA' READY KIDS?! " (<-Retorical question). I guess i'll just have to live with it considering we have to play some easy music for the people who are new to Concert Band that have just moved up from begginging band. Lame, but I digress.
     
    Overall it was fun. Tommorow I'm going to help my teacher with the little begginers so they know what they're doing, thats always a sight to see because they are all so clueless as to how hard REAL music is, not that i'm not a fan of "Hot Cross Buns" though. ^^
     
    After, that I went over to my girlfriends house and we had a water fight, we both got very wet. Then watched Lord of The Rings Two and Three. (great movies) Had dinner and then my mom came and picked me up.
     
    I think I had a pretty good day overall. Trumpet,Water,Movies. ^^
     
    What a day! Can't wait for tommorow.

    Stop, Drop, And Roll

    Sigh, fire season again... Blech
     
    There is ash all over our school, but no fires near it (yet) , although I do wish we had the day off yesterday. It started in Porter Ranch on Sunday, and apparently due to the annual winds we have in Simi Valley (which literally means "Valley of the winds" ) moved over to us.
     
    Which speaking of those darn high winds, that not only caused these annual fires, but also for our power to go out, 12 tines exactly, not fun. I got a total of three hours of sleep, another reason why I really hope school is canceled for a day so I can catch up on sleep.
     
    Ill update on this week and last week soon. (hopefully Sunday) XD

    I find the entry a fairly amusing read, yet very useful.
     
    Highlights:
     
    1. In every cubicle-like row is a representative who'll help fix your PC problems and, if you're not careful, sell you something you don't need.
     
    2. Every booth sells its own unique mishmash of gadgetry, impervious to categorization or order.
     
    3. Floor upon glorious shiny floor of stuff!
     
    Thats about it.

    Entry 63 
    Parades, HATE THEM. Ugh yesterday we marched in the "Simi Valley Days Parade" and thats exactly how long it felt DAYS! >< We were in the back this year because, Royal Marching Band (if you even consider them a marching band) and our Marching Band trade off every year on whose in the back and front. Last year we were in the front and Royal in the back (where they belong).
     
    We got to the parade at 8:00 am and waited about i'd say, 100 yards (a football fields length) away from an intersection. It took us over an hour to get from where we started to JUST that intersection, I can march 50 yards in under a minute and it takes us an hour just to move 100, It was so boring! After we passed the intersection everything moved smoothly and we were done in like an hour later, I'd say we marched about 5 miles, which isn't that bad. After, I went home and finished some homework. Then I relaxed and went over to Sarah's house for some Numero Uno pizza and we watched the USC game on TV with her family. (I'm not much of a football fan, but College football is OK, I just don't care too much for professional.)
     
    After I was dropped off home I read for a bit and then went to bed. I had the strangest dream involving, my dad and I, along with Kotahn's dad and him and a Car accident on our way back from a concert which then I got a giant truck and a motorcycle from a friends dad, then had to wash another friends dads car with Kotahn... never mind it was a WEIRD dream O.o
     
    Today was boring, my parents went to someones birthday with my little sister, and I stayed home and went over to Sarah's house again and just relaxed by watching some T.V. with her brother then looking at the new Spore demo for the PC. That was about it, then my parents picked me up after the party, and I went home and played some Viva Piñata on the Xbox 360. ( stupid spiders at my monkey-nuts =P ) After that I had dinner, and now I'm going to read some more before bed.
     
    Tomorrow I have practice and we're getting new drill and Movement 2 finally! woot! This song has the trumpet solo I've been dying to fight for, I totally want it. EDIT: Now I just got a call from my friend Carl ( He plays Mellophone ) about a commercial or something, WEIRD!
