@ TRE: The Ur-Didact was the first Didact, and he served as leader of the Promeatheans. However, during a political shakeup he ran afoul of the Master Builder, and chose exile. The Librarian manipulates a young Forerunner named "Bornstellar", and this Forerunner releases the didact and becomes exposed to some dark secrets. The Didact gives the youth his genetic imprint, and slowly the youth turns into a younger copy of the Original. As of Cryptum, it appears the Master Builder executed the original "Ur" Didact, but Silentium's description reveals that he survived alongside the Bornstellar Didact. As of right now, it's unknown exactly which Didact appears in Halo 4, but my personal guess is it's the original, as the terminals seem to suggest the more human-friendly Bornstellar died while activating Halo.

Well, seeing as we don't know the true biological nature of the Precursors, it's entirely possible he wasn't lying. For all we know, Graveminds could merely be the larval stage of the Precursors. Not to mention, we've never seen a Gravemind that was actually a walking entity resembling an existing creature. The Delta Gravemind was merely a mass of rotting bodies and tentacles, but the Timeless One is actually an arthropodic creature resembling a Sea Scorpion. It's possible that the Didact's bias prevented him from seeing the truth...

Boltshot's not that hard to use, but it does take a while to consistently get the timing of the charge right.Also I only use the DMR for those exact reasons.I only use the DMR now. I'm finding it near impossible to compete against enemy DMRs with a Lightrifle or BR, especially when I have to hip fire. I haven't tried to counter with the Carbine yet, but judging by the fact that most rounds of Ragnarok are DMR fests, it probably isn't what I'm looking for.

Discovered a new combo for Regicide that works wonders: DMR/Boltshot. Basically, a marksman rifle and a pocket Shotgun with incredible power. You just sit in a narrow section of building with objects to hide around, and lure the enemy in for an easy kill. It's so broken

Incineration Cannons and Binary Rifles :biggrin://supersecretstrategyCheck that. Railguns are an easy OHKO against them. You don't even have to hit them in the head.

That thing that shot tentacles out of it's mouth appeared to be wearing falmer armor, so maybe it's possessed by something? The head looked wrong, but the body was roughly falmer build. Also, I'm curious what that blue spineless dragon was?

Forgot his name, but he was a pretty nice guy.EDIT: His name was Aarrba.As for TOR, I would be playing now if I had enough spare money for the subscription. I think I'll just wait for Free to Play as well.In one of the RP books, a character named "Boonda" the Hutt, (Or something like that) actually went clean and created a legit droidworks. Unknown if he's Canon.

Yes, there is a perk, but unfortunately you need to munch a bunch of people to be able to use it, which is kinda funny. I might as well snack on bandits, but to be honest, it just seems like it's a weird form of Cannibalism. *Debates with self*@Takuta: Well, the eyes of the mask are identical to a dragonpriest mask in style, but the rest looks like it's a golden Falmer helmet. Seems we get the new DLC trailer on the 5th. Preliminary images show a being with a gold mask that largely resembles a dragon priest mask, especially with the stylized eyes, but with a mouth like a bug. A recentdragon cult, I wonder, or a previously unknown group on Solstheim?

Not very stupid, if you consider that the enemies in infection typically just use swords... I've only see one other varient, and that's with a hammer. I'm not too worried, as they have plenty of updates and DLC for the future. I'm actually grateful we got actual flood and plenty of new features.

It was an incredibly accurate rifle in Halo CE, and it actually had significant stopping power, particularly in short busts. In fact, it was so powerful I think it had a knockback effect. Halo 2 on it was more of a weak, flimsy smg thing, a pale shadow of it's former glory.Can't wait for Episode 5 FUD. I bet that Sulivan and Laskey are the only survivors, and that Kelly and Fred will appear.

My favorite Titan is the Exo-Toa. The design was amazing! My second favorite is probably Roodaka.

So, are you saying that the EU made the prophecy "Meaningless"? It never specified that it was forever. Personally, I hope they do the Young Jedi Knights series, or perhaps the Vong War. Personally, I'm not too big on the Legacy era.

I missed that Plasma Rifle since Halo CE. the Halo 2 and onwards versions just felt like peashooters.

Actually, it's more relevant than ever. It was the first Halo game to show a Shield World, and it revealed the fact that possibly hundreds of all types exist (it was Shield World #459, while I think I heard Onyx is #006)

It was clearly a fanservice shoutout and seemed incredibly out of place in a media where most of the fanservice shoutouts have been pretty neatly placed Easter-eggs.Petty Officer John-117, or just Petty Officer John would not have confused a single person. Or whatever his rank would be at this point.The show's still phenomenal, don't get me wrong. But it was the only time I verbally guffawed.He was a Master Chief Petty Officer at this point. As for the name, I suspect that would remain classified... I suspect ONI could have incarcerated or executed Sullivan for his hacked videos that showed aliens and Spartans, to be honest.
