Wow, Wind wasn't gone for very long. Which is great, of course. Congrats Eyru and goodbye Emzee! It's been many years. I guess I'm the only Adrian on the staff now.

MNOG has some fantastic cutscenes but Lewa vs Onua, the Manas scenes and the confrontation with Makuta are some of the best animations I've ever seen anywhere. But overall the entire game is really atmospheric. As far as MNOG II is concerned, I really love the crystal temples and their mysterious aura surrounding them (particularly the purity, prosperity, creation and peace temples) so I'd say those are probably my favorite parts of the game.

They put on one of his leg shells in the wrong direction. Apart from that, this video was nice. Loving that life-sized mask.

config.xml. Removing that line got rid of the adspace when the ad went poof. Only way to make sure it won't come back is by blocking app.skype.com with your computer, but that disables updates and skype home. Oh, now I get why I didn't update to 7.3 automatically...and why Skype home hasn't been working for a while.

the ad IS disabled. that part won't go away. No idea how to check, but I FIXED IT! Had to edit the XML file and remove the line <AdvertPlaceholder>1</AdvertPlaceholder> from existence. It then instantly got rid of the gigantic blank ad space. Which XML file? Why so?

This is odd, the ads appear at the top on my client. Maybe I don't have the latest version? Mine is 7.2.0.103.

He was ment to be riding a mechanical bull, or Tahu, why he kicks it's head off I have no idea. Why is he riding that bull in the first place? Why a bull? And why would any kid watch that commercial and decide Vezok's so awesome that they need to get him? I find it more off-putting than anything. It's not literally a bull, it's a mechanical bull. Those are a real thing that people ride as a test of endurance (or to train for rodeos). The idea is that you're supposed to see how long you can stay on without being thrown off. And as for it falling apart, that's to show that he's even rougher and tougher than the machine. Kind of like the cartoon cliche of somebody striking a "test your strength" amusement park attraction attraction so hard that instead of just ringing the bell it knocks the bell clean off. I didn't especially like the Piraka from a marketing standpoint (even as a teenager I could tell that the adverts and taglines were incredibly cheesy), though I did like some of their characterization, especially Zaktan's. The sets had pretty cool color schemes as well, though I had more interest in their pieces than in the figures themselves. Ohh, I get it now. That seems like something you wouldn't necessarily understand outside certain parts of the world, though. Which makes it even more surprising they chose that. Thanks a lot for the explanation!

I totally get the vibe they were aiming for but the Piraka rap's lyrics were ridiculous. And that Vezok commercial where he's riding on that weird thing with a Hau was one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen LEGO do. He even kicks its freaking head away at the end. I still don't get what the heck that was supposed to mean. That poster looks really cool, though, apart from the horribly cheesy taglines.

The latest we had in English until now was episode 7. Episode 8 has been out since March. I can't find anything about it on the front page, though. Nor in my inbox. All I can tell you is that this is definitely the first time I've watched this episode in English.

idk maybe because these are colors that you'd normally put on a fire character Now that's a way to restrict yourself creatively. Not to mention the fact that water doesn't always look blue anyway.
