  1. Very happy that the plot is starting to thicken! Not fond of Metahk much anymore, but ah well. Also, how did they get Toa stones in the first place? Keep it up, eager for more!
  2. Absolutely amazing series, Venom. I REALLY wish people would divert their attention from daily nonsense such as Gavla's comics and look at this. This was such a well written story and the ending was great. I didn't totally get it until the end, and it had be guessing the whole way through. I am really impressed at what you did here. I feel that you can do so much with this in the future. Also, great job tying it in with LoMN.Great job, Ven. Keep it up, and I hope to see more.
  3. I haven't treated anyone like dirt. But Makuta of Oz has said some rather drastic things regarding BIONICLE's return. I'm not flaming him, or calling names, or anything of the sort. What I am doing is voicing concern, as a responsible member of this community, that Makuta of Oz is a little bit too devoted to this lost cause. It's not healthy to tie your only potential source of happiness to the decision of a multimillion dollar company over which you have no control. It's honestly depressing to watch a fellow BZPowerite pour so much emotion and effort into a crusade that has no chance of achieving its goals. Rather than ignoring him, I'm trying my best to be a responsible community member and express my concerns without ostracizing him from a community that obviously means a lot to him.Nor did I call you out by name. I'm targeting this not at everybody who posted in the entry, but rather all the people who apply to this across the past few entries and topics where MoO has commented on the subject at hand. What you said above seems more or less fine, IMHO. Like Deevs said, showing concern is one thing, but people are being way too harsh and blunt about it.If a person sees somebody that needs help with what they feel is a serious problem, how can they feel that going head-on at 100 mph is going to help anything? If they have the awareness to see that a person is truly troubled, they should also have the common sense to approach the situation more carefully and emphatically. «Takuma Nuva» Which is what most of us have been doing. I admit, I was harsh in a few of my earlier posts, but honestly there are a lot of other people who would have said things far worse then I did. MoO has been doing this for FAR longer then this, and most of what people say, he doesn't listen to. So far, at least me personally, I've never seen him comment on trying to work on it. Also, has he ever said if HE is insulted by those saying he needs help? I may be missing something, but I don't think he ever has. Also, I understand that there are people like that in every fan base. I get it that people like that will always be there, I've talked to them. I WAS one. But if someone like that runs around, and not only disturbs you but a lot of other people, then you can at least try and help. If they say they don't WANT help, or don't NEED it, then back off, sure. I personally have not heard him say that. If he does, then alright, I'll back off. But until then, at least understand that no matter how "harsh" I may be, my intent is to help. And one comment isn't gonna sink the whole ship.
  4. Should I get rid of it? You should shape up your act, is what you should do. This along with you make me ashamed. I honestly don't care if you take this as flaming. This needs to stop and you need to understand that Bionicle is better left a good memory then a current nightmare. Sorry for being harsh, but I'm sorta tired of hearing this from you all the time. You are not giving yourself a good name when you can help with Bionicle fan projects instead of this.
  5. This makes me ashamed to be a Bionicle fan. Dude, get over it. Understand that if Lego brought Bionicle back, it would be Hero Factory under the Bionicle title. Unless, that's what you want, I mean.
  6. Nah, I'm talking about this right here.
  7. Oh my, this is just beautiful.Swert has been telling me a bit about this, and I followed a little of it's progress on Brickshelf, but seeing it 100% complete is just amazing. I love how detailed you guys went with this, so far as to put in trees for the lower half, and that amazing looking Kini-Nui. Although, what is that other little tan structure? For the life of me I can't figure out what it is.Very quickly, that Ta-Koro/Wahi is STUNNING. I love how you guys put in a KauKau and Ta-Koro. That's just amazing.Great job, guys. I am certain that pictures don't do this as much justice as seeing it in real life would. Just curious, but would this be showing up at any events? Possibly a couple of Brickcons?Again, great job. I thank you for making this wonderful piece, as it is (in my eyes) a great piece of art.
  8. Well, then you guys have a messed up way of saying it Please go ahead an explain how we have "messed up" ways of saying it. We've been quite civil how we've been saying things, along with giving thorough reasons and explanations. It may seem to some like insults, but it's by far not the intention.
  9. Also, little heads up: There is a HUGE differences between "defeatist" and "realist." I wanted to clarify something with you: When GregF said that Star Trek quote, that wasn't a cry for "Bring Back Bionicle." What he meant was talk about it and keep it ALIVE. Making projects like BioCraft, BNG, Rebirth Chronicles, etc. THAT is keeping it alive. What you are doing is making a grand fool out of yourself and getting no where. I'm sorry if I sound really offensive, but I am sorta sick of looking around the forum seeing you ramble on about Bionicle's return when in all honesty WE as a fan base CAN NOT bring it back, but we can keep it ALIVE so that someone else could. That's what Greg meant. The Star Trek Fans did nothing to bring it back, producers, companies did. And there is no way you can tell me I am wrong in this case. Again, I do not mean to flame nor start a flame war. One is only started if you take it with extreme offense. I'd like to keep it calm and ask if you'd join me in that endevour.
  10. That doesn't make any sense. Having a forum devoted solely to a dead and gone toyline with a story that has disintegrated and has little interesting mystery left to keep conversation and news moving does people a lot less good than a HF/Lego focus that actually has something to discuss on a daily basis.People seem to forget that a LEGO site with a constraction figure slant still includes BIONICLE disucssion.Sure, that is true, and I am sure I can hunt down a bunch of other forums/fan bases of which have managed to discuss any number of subjects for a period of time longer than Bionicle has been around, one of which is Earthbound. While it's true that you can get more discussion/news daily out of Hero Factory and other Lego themes, I think that a lot of the BZPopulace may like to see just a little bit of BZP's roots sticking around. And that would more than likely be out of dedication. Not saying that it would be preferred that BZP grasp the dead/dying straws of Bionicle's "passing", just thinking that BZP would seem a little more unique sticking even slightly to it's roots.Where did this idea, that BZP is "losing it's roots" or ignoring BIONICLE come from? We just added Hapori Tohu back into the site, to purposefully maintain a visual homage to our roots. We started as a BIONICLE site, we are now so much more, but we are all aware that we started as, and owe ourselves to, that role as the world's largest BIONICLE and LEGO community. None of us have any desire to pretend that BIONICLE never happened or outlaw its discussion or ignore our roots. If there were real BIONICLE stories to be put on the front page, we'd put them there. There's not.I am merely speaking within the context of the topic's subject. I didn't see anywhere in my posts where I said "BZP is currently a titanic forum! Get to the floatation devices!" BZP is fine right now, IMO, so nothin' to worry about.
  11. Skype is a free program you can download. Also, as long as we keep it BZP appropriate, then I doubt ANYONE needs to worry about that, as it will be put up other places.
  12. And I am sick of people acting like I did when Bionicle ended: Not seeing the sad truth. I don't mean to offend or attack here, and understand I was in your boat when Bionicle ended, but thanks to a little help from a good 'ol friend of mine, I can see that Bionicle went just as it should have - a whole 10 years of sets and story, then a conclusion. Maybe it's not the exact conclusion everyone wanted. Sure, it wasn't perfect. But the fact we got one at all is a miracle in itself. I'd like to invite you to a somewhat "Debate Corner" that the podcast I help out with would like to try out. We'd have a friendly debate about this subject over microphone (on Skype), record it, and publish it online. Accept or decline if you wish, but I would personally like to get some things straightened out that I feel needs to be done so.
  13. Not saying that it would be preferred that BZP grasp the dead/dying straws of Bionicle's "passing", just thinking that BZP would seem a little more unique sticking even slightly to it's roots.
  14. No. I am not the biggest HF fan, so that's a contributor, and I understand Bionicle is 100% dead with no return in the next 10+ years, but BZP did start on Bionicle, and I'd much rather have a Lego/Bionicle focused forum then an HF/Lego focus, as that wouldn't do anyone any good.
  15. They were never at any other point shown in the story - at least, not to the point we knew the mask color - other than the comics. I understand he was in the book, but it never said anything about a "silver mask" on Wairuha. Honestly, I think it's safe to say his mask was green, and as such the other Kaita's would also have normal mask colors. Also keep in mind that the Toa Mata Kaita's mask were metallic due to the fact they wore Golden Kanohi.
  16. Nope. Don't forget the Kaita Nuva, of which did not have gold/silver masks. Wairuha Nuva was formed once, and he did not have a silver mask, but a green one.
  17. Great comic, as always! Loved that bit at the end where Vohon falls down. I'm also not at all surprised that Metahk chopped his fingers off, although I think it was needed after what Mr. Shadow Matoran did.Keep it up, Maph - These are some of the finest comics here.
  18. This is by far your best work Venom. The graphics are just stunning, and the story so far has me very eager for more. I really love how you've managed to play off of the story of Metru-Nui without it seeming forced. Lhikan's involvement in this seems somewhat strange to me personally, but it's not that big a deal. I really wish more people would recognize this after all the hard work you put in to it. Keep it up, and I am eager to see more!
  19. Thanks once more, guys! Sorry for the large delay, so here is a new comic!
  20. I honestly don't think that it's so likely he wears a Pakari. A branch? Not a very difficult task for a bio-mechanical being. Not to mention, people in real life give other people boosts all the time, something of which also is not a difficult task for a bio-mechanical being. I think it's just that he's a Toa.
  21. Along with the TTV episodes, while it may be a TAD late, we have for you all a Comic Contest Coverage, right here for your enjoyment!
  22. Thank you all very much for the posts! Sorry for the long wait, but here is a new comic! Don't get pinched!
  23. To avoid any mishaps, it would more than likely be better to PM Invi =)Little update: Movie still coming along nicely. I'll see about releasing some pictures of character skins, certain locations, etc etc at some point soon. Thanks everyone!
  24. Very glad City of Wretches won! Congrats to the other two entries, and I am very glad to have participated, it was a fun contest!
  25. Most of the time it's random selection. I go through what is on the first page of the Comics forum and pick one.
