No, Maj isn't BZPower. But BZPower doesn't allow forums to be linked to, and guess why? Because(understandably) there could be bad stuff there, that they don't want their younger members exposed to. BZPower doesn't allow IM advertising to forums, and that's two steps away from BZPower: IMs are off of BZPower, and forums are being advertised on them, which are also off of BZPower. But that's not allowed(somewhat understandably). If that's not going to be allowed, I fail to see how a Maj with bad images on it can be allowed to be linked to BZPower. While I don't mean to be disrespectful, I'm frankly shocked that you "promise harm" to a member with everyone watching. If it really isn't a threat, but a promise, then that doesn't make it better, it makes it worse. But with that said, I will add that some of you who agree with this blog entry are being overly antagonistic towards Omi, and you guys do need to cut down on that. -LB

I do think that if one has their Maj linked to on BZPower, they need to keep it appropriate for BZPower. After all, BZP doesn't even allow IM advertising, even when the IMs are unconnected to BZPower, so why should this be allowed? -LB

Especially if you link to your Maj on BZPower. I can definitely think of a few people(not all of them staff, by the way) who could benefit from following that advice. Good advice Sunny. I do agree with this, especially for those who aspire to be staff. Yes, we can all tell when someone's trying to be one, it's not like nobody notices. I admire anyone who is willing to step up and help BZPower be a better place. But let's just remember that your primary goal should be to help out, not to be staff. -LB

So am I now at the very top of the BZP Members list. xD Just as a note, I'm not doing it to be annoying-but I've never participated in a fad before, and I figured I might as well go ahead and try one. Geez Windrider, you basically eliminated any reasons for any other posts here. After all, what else can be said? This is pretty funny-and definitely true. You should make something on "How to Compose a Rap Song" and let one of the steps be "Write a Gregorian chant that somehow ties together blowing up cars and shooting people. Add drums and bass." That's basically what it is, I suppose. With some of McCartney's songs, you can't even pretend the lyrics make sense. -LB

Of course I don't want you to stop making and enforcing rules-I'd leave the site if that happened, because it would be chaos. But the blogs, while being a part of BZPower, are definitely under some different rules. For example, spam is allowed here, and it's not in the forums. I'm just saying that not nearly as many people have blogs(or for that matter, post in them) than the number of people who make topics and post in the forums-not even close to that amount. -LB

While I usually dislike complaining(and yes, I see a lot of pointless complaining sometimes), I do want to say I feel like the blogs on BZPower are seriously getting more tight and regulated. It seems like more and more blog entries are getting closed for little offenses. While I mean no disrespect, I frankly think that the blogs are a place where people can relax and chill some, without having to worry as much about breaking a rule. Of course, I agree with most of these rules on the forums-it would be a nightmare if they weren't there. But in the blogs, perhaps we could do without some. -LB

At least you play flute, Tek, and not piano. Well, I play guitar and piano. My main interest in piano is playing classical music-have you ever played any Mussorgsky or Debussy, Windrider? Although I've only been playing piano for about six months, so I can't play that much right now. I'm currently working on a piece known as "The Clock Sonatina" and a simplified version of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. As for guitar, I play mostly bluegrass and jazz. Although I am trying to get into classical music for it too. Oh, and Sidorak Hunter, your secret message is utterly true. And awesome. -LB

Wow, everything has been kind of tough lately. Always seems that I'm having to deal with impatient and irritable people today, but I think that things are finally toning down. That's good, because sometimes I'm just like, "Wat is wrong with these people?!" xD But in all seriousness, things aren't too bad. Really, they've been pretty good. I am trying to work on a simplified version of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony on the piano: it's somewhat challenging. Now when I finish that, I think I should try to work on something a little harder though. Going from one piece to another that's more challenging can be hard though, I guess. You're probably thinking, "This blog entry looks a little...odd." Oh yes, that was on purpose: it seems to be formatted odly. xD Under the sudden relief of some pressure, I've been in a pretty good mood and decided to encode a little secret message in this post. Right, and make sure you PM me if you can find what it is! For tomorrow, I think I'm going to work a lot on piano. Remember, my LESSON is tomorrow, so I have a good motivation to do so. I think that you should all post any instruments you play, it would be fun to find out. Every time that I post something that requires readers to post, though, it seems like that there are no more than three. I guess that's better than posting an entry that's simply a commentary on what's been going on lately though... Now, I guess that's in then. Do make sure you post what instruments you play! -LB
