The Detective claimant has provided me with far more information than the Mafia have access to, including hints to the identity of the Mysterious Figure (Detective gets these, Mafia don't). Additionally, I can tell you from experience that the Detective almost always comes forward with information when the coordinator asks him to, so if there's a Mafian impersonating him, that usually results in there being two claimants, one legit and one not. In this case, there's only been one claimant and he's proven to be immensely helpful.

You realize that the GM is supposed to be the person who makes the game function according to its parameters, right? And if those parameters begin becoming unreliable...that's dangerous territory.

4. There are multiple suspects whose reason for being on the list relates to them making or owning something which was used in the scene. I think that it'd be strange to have one of those be the correct answer, so Canis, Cryo, and TR are likely not the Cloaker.

The kind Detective Gumshoe has been so helpful as to provide a work-in-progress list of siblings for me, and one of the pairs on that list is Unit/Canis. I can also confirm that X's sibling is not on that list, which means that there's only one sibling pair that it could have been!

The prosecution argues that, by process of elimination, Canis must have been the Cloaker. I ask the jury to convict him and the honorable Judge to deliver the maximum possible penalty for his crime.

Yes, please. I have stopped reading anything that is written in any poetic style--sonnet, rondeau, villainelle, haiku, free verse, anything. Written in poetry? Skipped! I did it as a theme for my role. You are not the Siren.

@Lloyd: Okay, so what do you have in mind for the game's timetable? Are we talking a published report about a year after the fact like the actual Warren Commission or would you like to sort of play up the investigative aspect in between?

I was thinking that the players would be the ones doing the investigation that ultimately leads to this world's version of the Warren Report. The DPD, the FBI, etc.

 

 

 

Are you considering more of a realistic angle or is there going to be a little bit of conspiracy indulging going around depending on what bureau you're working for?

That's something I have not decided on yet. It really could go either way, though if it does go the conspiracy angle, it'll be more realistic.

@ Basilisk: I know it was. I can read, at least. But do you see my point? The whole Hellenic league fielded an army. This is multiple city-states we're talking about, presumably roughly the size of the ones the players will be runing.

All of them, together, fielded 7,000 men.

I know I'm missing something. The earliest era (which presumably one would consult for "small, old Athens" on that page mentions that all of Greece fielded an army of 7K.
