I finally have a left audio channel again. Thought the left speaker seems louder than the right. Maybe it's because I'm not used to hearing audio from the left...
Tomorrow is the first of four days of midterm exams. I get to start my day off with an Economics midterm, which I don't think will be very hard.
But then I end the day with my Advanced Physics midterm. Oh my, this is going to be extremely hard. My normal tests are a challenge, the midterm is going to be crazy. We've been reviewing the past few days, and I don't remember anything from before the current chapter, Thermochemistry (chemistry? in my physics?). Yeah, not gonna be a good way to end the day.
But then Friday's a half-day, and no school Monday! =D Then three more days of midterms! D=
uhh let's see what will I have... Tuesday: English Wednesday: Calculus Thursday: Computer Programming, Computer Applications And there's a Phys Ed midterm sometime, but I don't know what day that is.
THAT I INSTALLED WINDOWS 7 after it sat in my room for weeks
so yes windows 7 home premium 64-bit is now installed
I like the new taskbar; pinning things is like an improved quick launch bar (that I never used haha), but I wish I could manually pin more locations to my Windows Explorer icon instead of waiting for them to be "Frequent" and appearing on the list then able to be pinned and stuff and shabam run-on sentence. And I want the icons to be spaced closer together. ALSO I WANT MY CLASSIC STARTMENU BACK >=[
I didn't get much for Christmas this year considering I recently got a $900 PC.
What I did get: Candy (wat) A 2010 cat calendar (=3) The Them Crooked Vultures album (which I am currently listening to) And at least $200 from my relatives
I hope Steam has better games for sale; 3 days and there was only 1 game I wanted. :/
Reached Level 50 today in Borderlands with Roland.
After I beat Playthrough 2, I may or may not start a playthrough with Mordecai. Depends if I have any other games to play, and whether or not I'm tired of the game.
It's about 1:50 AM, and I'm dead. If it were summer, I'd be perfectly fine.
Blah. To bed I guess.
IN OTHER NEWS I went to the school play today (well, technically it was yesterday), "You Could Die Laughing." It was quite good. The ending was like WOAH I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT JUST HAPPENED. (that's seriousness, not sarcasm)
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The game was freakin' AMAZING all the up to the end. The end, was unfortunately, horrendous. Why? The final boss was one of easiest, maybe even the easiest, of all bosses in the game. I stood still the entire fight shooting his weakspot. I was hit once. But the rest of the game: two thumbs up. I'm looking forward to my second playthrough, where the enemies are tougher.
I. FREAKIN'. LOVE. BORDERLANDS. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
I got to the part where you go to Old Haven and fight the Crimson Lance today. It was definitely the best so far. The enemies were challenging without being ridiculously hard, and it was just plain fun. The city was cool to do battle in, and allowed different play styles. At some parts, I just ran in and shot everything, whereas sometimes I would hang back and snipe. Oh boy oh boy, I can't wait until I play again.
COD4 finished downloading overnight, and I beat the single-player campaign today. I wish it was longer. :/
I'm still on the fence about playing multiplayer. I wasn't very good at it, and everyone else will be good and have perks and stuff and I'll be a loser.
QUOTE(Wikipedia) Probot was a heavy metal side project of ex-Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters lead-singer Dave Grohl. An album was recorded out of the material and released in February 2004. ... On the album, Grohl teamed up with heavy metal vocalists from 1980s and 1990s bands who influenced his musical tastes while he was growing up. Similar to 1995's Foo Fighters, Grohl wrote all of the music and performed most of the instrumentation. Each track on the album features a different lead singer including Lemmy, Max Cavalera and King Diamond.
I got the Probot CD today! =D I'm listening to it right now.
I just beat the demo. My new computer can run it with everything on medium settings with a little bit of lag.
It was pretty cool. The suit allows for some varied gameplay, though I mostly played stealthily. However, I have one major complaint. THE ENEMIES JUST. WON'T. DIE. It shouldn't take 20 point-blank shots to kill one guy. srsly
I have absolutely nothing interesting to blog about. Played some Audiosurf, Arkham Asylum, procrastinated on my English essay and Advanced Physics Lab...
Oh yeah, Left 4 DeadDLC came out. It was... okay I guess. Didn't look as good as the others, was a little confusing, and was too short. It seemed like they rushed it to try and shut up all the L4Dboycotters who complained about lack of DLC.
So two days ago I said I was getting computer parts, and my case arrived.
The rest arrived today. Josh built it. It works! Ugh I hate getting a new computer cuz I have to go install all my old stuff again.
Also, he put my old hard drive in to copy stuff over. Like Steam games, cuz it'd be faster than my slow download speeds. Too bad I accidentally uninstalled it off of my old HDD. ;___;
List o' parts: This This too And this as well Oh yeah this Also this And hey another thing Oh my another thing AND ANOTHER!! 9 whole things!
Why am I bringing this up? Because my computer-literate friend helped my pick out parts for a new computer (cuz buying a new computer is so cliché) and my case arrived today.
An Antec 300 Illusion.
Only 8 more parts to go til I have a new computer!
So I didn't only get Deflorate. I didn't wanna blog about it cuz I wanted to surprise my friends today, and Josh reads this. >_>((creeeeepyyyy)(YES I'M TALKING TO YOU JOSH))
