    So when I recently got Windows Vista, I got a code to get Windows 7 free.
    Today I ordered my free Win7 online.
    It's estimated ship date?
    DECEMBER FOURTH.

    Bigger Bang

    Beat Batman: Arkham Asylum on Normal Difficulty today.
    It was more challenging (better AI, Batman takes more damage), but it went quicker cuz I knew what to do.
    Getting the "Bigger Bang" achievement puts me at exactly 2000 Gamerscore on Games for Windows Live.
     
    Hard Difficulty here I come.

    I know that it was released like 5 million years ago, but I just got it a few days ago.
    I played for the first time today. Amaaaaazing. Definitely one of the best ways I've spent 5 bucks.

    Ultimately, 5 bucks for AC was too great (or rather too little ) to resist. It's currently downloading at a rate of about 90 kb/s on my amazingly horrendous DSL connection.
    Oh how I wish I had a faster interwebs...

    Geometric Fail; Also Bomb

    There was a bomb threat at my school today.
    The whole high school had to walk to the middle school and chill out in the cafeteria and gymnasium while the high school was searched.
     
     
    Later that day I overheard this conversation in another classroom:
     
    Teacher: What shape is this?
    Student: Circle!
    Teacher: It's not a circle, it's a trapezoid.
     
    Seriously, how do you get those confused?

    Josh thinks I might have a faulty graphics card. Or it might be my ping bringing down my FPS.
    We don't know for sure yet cuz I haven't tested it yet.
     
    Also I played TF2today for the first time in about 3 weeks. 'Twas fun.

    I solved all 240 Riddler Challenges in Arkham Asylum.
    By myself, with no help at all.
     
    Only at 88% completion though. I still have to get all three achievement/challenge/bonus/whatever-they're-called bats on each challenge room.

    It's the 10th of this month.
    They're metalcore bands. I am a scrawny, lanky, nerdy lookin' guy. I would not survive anything more hardcore than an Elton John concert.
     
    Seriously though, it seems awesome.

    Also, in December, there's another concert I'd like to go to.

    I love all 3 of those bands.
     
    I really wanna go to both. Only problem, besides the aforementioned one, is getting a ride there. It's like 2+ hours away from where I live. Also, money. I have, like, 70 bucks. That's enough for tickets, but that leaves me with barely anything left then.
     
    So, yeah. I have no idea what's going on, but my friend Josh really wants to go, as do I.

    Batman: Arkham Asylum
    I played it on a computer that can easily handle it.
     
    It was soooo awesome. I love beating up baddies. And the few Riddler challenges I've done were... interesting, although a little easy. I got 8 (I think) achievements so far!
    I'm looking forward to tomorrow so I can play more.
     
    Curse my slow internet. The only games I've downloaded so far in Steam are:
    Audiosurf
    B: AA
    Left 4 Dead
     
    And Burnout Paradise is downloading now.

    Is It Friday Yet?

    I JUST GOT A NEW COMPUTER I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND TIME IN SCHOOL.
     
    *sigh* It hasn't even been a month yet and I'm already tired of school. I guess having a new, uber-computer doesn't help, either.
     
    Played some Burnout Paradise. It runs fine on all settings maxed, but I don't really find it fun anymore.
    I also played some more Arkham Asylum. Got a bunch of Riddler challenges. I also got a 39 hit combo in a Challenge Room. THERE IS AN ACHIEVEMENT FOR GETTING A 40 HIT COMBO. Stupid counter not working...

    The Day Has Been Saved

    I beat Arkham Asylum. Not all the Riddler Challenges, though.
    I'm disappointed by the length; it took me about 9 hours to finish the story. But it was definitely a great game.
     
    I was worried that I wouldn't want to replay it.
    That is not the case. It was really fun, and definitely worth another play through. I'll play on a different difficulty this time. I played on Easy, cuz there's an achievement for each difficulty level, and I figured I might as well start on Easy and work my way up.
