The lady there (i can't remember her title; sales something, i think) was really cool. What could have been done in a few minutes ended up taking an hour because she, my mom, and I spent a lot of time talking about of lot of things.
Topics included: skateboarding, school curricula, motorcycles, computer programming, computer hardware, board games, video games, college, and probably other stuff I can't remember.
(before anyone else does the joke: I guess you could say that RAGE's release date *puts on sunglasses* is making me rage YYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)
In somewhat better news, Crysis 2 has a March 2011 release date.
So my good pal Josh got StarCraft II, and it came with some keys for 14 day/7 hour (whichever comes first) trial and gave me one. I was pretty sure I wouldn't really like it cuz RTSes never really interested me. BUT MAN OH MAN It's actually really cool. Everything about it is really well done.
considering buying it but seeing as i only want it for the campaign it doesnt seem worth sixty dollars
PC Gamer chatted with Robin Walker who revealed some great news.
A new update within a month.
It will include:
A new gamemode.
The Polycount weapons. Including all winning packs, as well as one that hasn't been announced yet. (idk if it's a winner they kept secret, or if they only recently decided to include it)
Thank you WaWa for delivering the first hit. Thank you Kex for the follow-up. Thank you whichever admin increased my proto for premier membership for keeping the combo alive. And thank you Than for delivering the final blow. <3
Over the years, I've gone through several different iterations of the name HAZMAT, but one thing has remained constant: an avatar consisting of a black skull with HM on its head. Although the avatars themselves have changed, the design has remained the same. Here's a look back at my past avatars:
The very first HM Skull avatar. The skull and crossbones image I got from Google images, then I added the eyes and HM.
After that, I made a blocky, sprite-ish avatar. It has one front tooth for some reason, instead of two. (wat)
The next edition is just plain bad. Jagged edges, a tiny nose, and tiny teeth. However the "evil" triangular eyes are a plus. This was the first avatar I hand drew.
Another "sprite" avatar. Nothing very special about it, besides the extremely round head. Dx
The next was another sprite av, and this one was incredibly tiny! It also only has one front tooth, like the first sprite av. (wat again)
The next avatar was just freaking cool. It was also the first to not use crossbones. I guess I was no longer feeling like a pirate (DO WHAT YOU WANT CUZ A PIRATE IS FREE; YOU ARE A PI-ohwait ur not a pirate anymore lol). This avatar came with some nice pointy cheekbones and teeth, and featured the "evil" eyes. This was another hand drawn avatar; I drew it in 11th grade on my Pre-Calculus Final Exam Review Packet. Because, really, who needs to review for finals? (this image was really large, and when it was scaled down, the edges got flattened)
The next avatar simply changed the shade of green to match my text color, because color coordination is cool.
The next (and most recent) skull was more stylized, featuring plenty of angles for a pointy look. It also has some really long teeth. This, too, was hand drawn. This was sketched in my school planner during a boring study hall.
I have a few more designs sketched in my planner, so I'll probably have a new one sometime soon (when I stop being lazy).
And there you have it, all my HM Skulls I ever used as avatars. Well, I think that's all of them. I might have deleted some over the years. Dx
and as a quick bonus, here's an HM "smeag" gif I made a a year or two ago
*end of original entry*
I made a new one, this time more anatomically correct. It's based on this image. I also now have all of these images in a rotating avatar. style_emoticons/default/cool.gif
I was thinking it was time for a new one. style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif So, here's a new one. Image courtesy of Google images, editing by none other than myself.
A recolor of my av for when my name was Purple Haz.
A Phase II Clone Trooper helmet in my skulls' usual style for when my name was Haztrooper.
A skull design I doodled in Inkscape. When re-making it in GIMP, it didn't turn out looking as cool as the original doodle did IMO.
A slight edit of the above for when my name was TAMZAH.
A recolored skull from a Team fortress achievement. This is the first time I ditched the HM.
I stopped playing TF2, so a few months later I decided to leave my TF2-skull behind. Since I couldn't come up with any ideas for a design, I just went with simple geometric shapes.
