    I started Skyrim today. It's 4:30 AM, I'm tired and have a headache, so I'm gonna keep this short and make a complete entry later on today.
    long story short:
    SKYRIM SUCKS (or does it???)

    in other news I beat LA Noire; LOVE it
    sometime soon I'll post a wrap up entry talking about my holiday season video game purchases and my thoughts on them (SPOILER ALERT: they're great)
    maybe even talk about my personal GOTYs, who knows??? (I'm leaning toward yes because I need to use this blog more)

    A New Year

    Don't you just love when a new year rolls around, and it takes you days weeks to be able to write the correct year without having to think about it? It's like the year doesn't actually end until February.
     
    Anyway, I feel like I should do something for the new year, like a change is in order... but what?
    I can't change my name (nor do I want to), I like my current avatar, same for my signature... I could always change my blog, but I rarely use it nowadays so that would be pointless, plus I don't have any ideas.
    I'll keep brainstorming.

    Awhile ago I found a Baker Boy, later I crafted a Batter's Helmet (which I crafted into a Bonk Helmet), and today I found a Flipped Trilby.
    UGH VALVE how about you give me a hat I want hmmmm?

    I'm hoping to do a new name every month, so 12, unless I can't think of anything thing, in which case there might be less.

    Just got an email from EA; my Nano Edition is still delayed.
    HOWEVER
    They gave me a code to download the Limited Edition for free while I wait for my physical copy to arrive.
     
    That in conjunction with the 75% off code they gave me earlier has made me love EA.

    Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was GREAT, though I didn't like it near the end where you were jumping through time, trying to kill Cesare. It made the ending feel so rushed. I really liked the addition of the Brotherhood; managing Assassins is a nifty feature, and I love calling them in during a battle. I'm really going to miss Ezio when AC3 rolls around, he's my favorite videogame protagonist.
     
    Bulletstorm (which I got for $15) was great as well. The weapons were really great; they provided something unique in an ocean of M16s and AK-47s. I much prefer wrapping an enemy in an explosive chain rather than spraying them with bullets! Definitely a game that deserves a few playthroughs. Anarchy mode seems interesting (I played it for a bit by myself), hopefully my friend Josh will get it soon so we can play.
     
    I'm considering Assassin's Creed and Bulletstorm themes for the Year of no HAZMAT if I run out of ideas.
     
    And I'm still waiting for news about my copy of Crysis 2. :/

    Crysis 2 comes out tomorrow.
    I got an email from EA, due to manufacturing problems, the Nano Edition has been delayed. They also gave me a code for 75% off ANYTHING IN THE EA STORE.
     
    While I am disappointed, it's not all bad. I recently bought Monday Night Combat (great game), plus Assassin's Creed Brotherhood comes out tomorrow (for PC).
    I've decided to get Bulletstorm; with the code, it's only $15.
    Plus I'm still playing Wind Waker and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.
    So there's no shortage of games here.

    I spent over an hour on this because I rushed to get it done, but it looked horrible so I kept playing around with to make it look better.
    That didn't work, so I started over.
    I should've just done it the "right" way the first time. >_>

    I'm contemplating getting it, but it's a real on-the-fence dilemma. I can't make up my mind.
    Has anyone played and, and what do you think of it?

    oh, how I've missed this place
     
    While BZP's been down, I've been spending a lot of time playing games. The Crysis 2 PC demo came out a few days ago, and I've put a few hours into it so far. While the game seems a bit unbalanced (specifically, the weapons), it's pretty enjoyable. Also (obviously) it looks great!
    However, I'm getting pretty tired of only having 2 maps and 2 game modes, so I probably won't play too much more until I get my hands on the full game.
     
    Some other games I've been playing: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Pokemon Ruby, New Super Mario Bros, and (of course) TF2 (which I haven't gotten a drop in for several days )
     
    So what have you guys been doing during the down time?

    1st: Crysis 2 demo begins
    2nd: BZP name change (I already have everything ready to go)
    13th: Crysis 2 demo ends
    15th: Homefront is released (I already pre-ordered it)
    17th: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is releases (I already pre-ordered it)
    22nd: Crysis 2 is released (I already pre-ordered it)
     
    And hopefully I will have a job interview and also hopefully be hired and start working sometime in March.
     
    It's going to be a busy month.
