I am going on a weekend trip with my parents.

We'll be in Belgium, so, unless I accidentally run across Schizo there, consider me gone from BZP for a couple of days.

    Seeya!

Vader: "See-threepio, Artoo never told you what happened to your creator."
C-3PO: "He informed me sufficiently. He told me you killed him."
Vader: "No... I am your creator!"
C-3PO: "No... no... That's not true. That's impossible! The odds against you being my creator are..."
Vader: "Search your feelings, You know it to be true."
C-3PO: "Noooo!! You see, sir, shortly after the Jedi were wiped out, my memory was erased. So that could explain why I'm having difficulty verifying your statement."

    I :3 the SW wiki.

That's when our regional government starts giving out the new vaccine against the swineflu. I am not too worried about it, but I'll get myself the shot anyway, even though it's apparently quite the strong stuff, with intenser and longer side-effects (Including aches and fevers).

    And on another health-related note:
I seem to have damaged or at least overstressed my left arm during workout the day before yesterday, as bending it hurts since two days now.
Lesson learned: Don't do dumbbells and watch a movie and loose track of the lenght of your workout.

What a weird year this has been...busy as heck too ^^ Oh well, bye bye 18,
    I am 19 now

But 19 years is still too short a time to live among such admirable and excellent Hobbits!
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

So, a bit of a 180° turn from yesterdays good mood.

Not because the party turned out to be bad, it was quite awesome, no, but because I woke up this morning just to sprint to the bathroom, go back to bed, sprint to the bathroom again 30 min later, go back to my room, and suddenly realize if I don't turn back and head to the bathroom again I'll empty my stomach over the keyboard...

So I've spent the last 12 hours either in the bathroom or in front of the TV...

    Fever and dizzyness included.

I have to admit, I have not made a whole Toa Team at once before. It's a little harder than expected, but a lot of fun as well to write the backstory of six Toa, rather than just one.

But it's fun to see what different inspirations can create in combination. In this case, you take Bram Stoker, add Prototype and supernatural beings and throw in some good old-fashionied Bionicle-Mystery on top. I think those of you who play will like the result.

Now, I just hope NM approves these guys once I send them to him...

I am not a fan of games that get released together with movies to boost sales figures, as a rule of thumb. Production is often rushed to meet the deadline and as such those games are generally infested with bugs.

What a pleasant surprise the latest Prince of Persia was.
The game was released a bit earlier then the movie and the titular prince is not Jake Gyllenhaal, but the nameless Prince from the Sands of time trilogy.
Action takes place somewhere between Sands and Warrior within as far as I know, but that's not important.
While the PoP from 08 was the graphically most beautiful thing next to Crysis to be installed on my PC, it lacked in story and repetitive gameplay and quick-time events.

Forgotten sands had a bit of the same vibe for the first hour where I thought it might drift off into the "you are all alone with nobody around and now you shall jump and run through giant puzzle-rooms". While that is certainly an element present in the game, it is not dominant. There's sections that require spot-on timing, without QTE's. Instead there are deadly traps and later on there's loads of enemies in between.
Speaking of enemies: They are many. In the first room I barely fought 4 of them only to be faced with 20 of them two rooms later. They get easier to dispatch over the course of the game but their number gives off an epic feel. And they give off life, so to maintain health you gotta stick your sword to the baddies. And vases.
I don't want to know how much worth of china the Prince broke in this game.

Also defeated enemies give off points for levelling up. There's 4 different powers to be used during combat, plus three powers that are used during getting around. One is the ability to solidify water, one is the manifestation of memories (as in, "there used to be a stair here" *press ALT* "Oh THERE it is!") and the old-time favourite: Winding back time if you happen to plummet into a pit of spikes. Which happens. A lot.

    Well...it did to me.

Now to wrap this up, I'll just say this thing really ended in an epic way. And by epic I mean EPIC. Fighting a godzilla-sized monster in the ruins of a temple in the middle of a sandstorm that has part's of the Persian temple flying around and you jumping around on them?

    YES

I'm off. Gotta get the sand washed out of my ears.

I am waiting for march. Then the new Bionicle sets will be available here over S@H.
    Speaking of shop at home...

The new republic gunship from Starwars is mine now.

    Send in the clones!

So, I got like, 500 new brushes for Photoshop. And I decided to try out the set called "bloodwork"

Mwuhahahahaha! Let's see how I can use that in future art

Yeah I know, old news, everybody's grandma has seen it by now, but I haven't.

I wont go into any depths here, I just wanted to get it off my chest that the music really made this motion picture work for me

Espescially since I knew most of the songs anyway.

I really hate starting this blog-entry with "I". I noticed a while back I often fall back to comparing things people blog, post and such with things that have happened or are happening to me or with myself personally. I don't know why I'm doing it and I feel it just comes across as egotistical.

That is completely unintentional and a stupid habit and I'm working on that issue.

Enough personal drama for the night. Back to RPing, working on a shirt-design and a banner, a painting, a webcomic...

So, remember way back when I mentioned my parents wanting to buy a new kitchen despite the only thing being broken was the fridge...well, they wound up buying a new one and it is getting put up this very moment

I am curious what the result will look like. I'll definitely try to take a picture later.

Today has been a bad day for a lot of people I care about and all I can do is to think of this song...

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on
Don't let yourself go, 'cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on

'Cause everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on

    Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on
Everybody hurts. You are not alone

So, I guess everybody has his/her new-years resolutions, but are you motivated enough to achieve them?
What motivates you, makes you get off your behinds? I am curious. Espescially after browsing through hundreds of the not-so-motivational posters on the web.

    Waiting for you replies
