    Of course I will!
    The man himself

But there is more...which I shall save for another day to show you. For now, enjoy!

It's time for another round of questioning me. Mainly because I am bored. Secondly because I want to know what you people are curious about.
I would appreciate it if the questions were actually related to me in some way this time ^^ I can make another entry for all the spoof-questions another time.

    So, go ahead, ask

    I think I used that blog-entry title before...doesn't matter.

Ladies and Gents, VF has officially finished civil service and awaits a final paycheck, while he enjoys his first days of a 6 month holiday.

You may now shun me and eat your heart out.

And to a few of you: I'll see you...soon

So, today we celebrate easter again (well, today beeing my central european timezone).
I wanted to wish you all a fine holiday, wether you spend it in church, with your family, away from home or just like any other sunday

And to throw in a little extra fun-fact: In Germany the younger children believe in the easter-bunny as well and usually that is celebrated by hiding hand-painted eggs in the backyards and gardens for their scavenger-hunting pleasure ^^ (Good memories)

So, have a happy easter everyone!

And fitting for easter and the new release of a kick-butt action movie next month: He's back!

On December 12th, Shire-year 2010 in the 3rd age of middle-earth, 9 companions will set out to view all three LotR-movies in one night.
And we'll have snacks and lots of caffeine for the night until we get out of the cinema around 4-ish.

    Good times are ahead ^^

So today we got our certificates of acceptance today that will allow us to attend the finals and actually graduate. Except for a friend of mine. Because one of his grades is one point of. Darnit. He doesn't deserve that.

How do you help a friend with a problem you have no influence on?

but darnit that party was worth to let out the animal for once
Can't believe I danced two hours straight through. (I don't know moves...I just start to move when the music kicks in. And I suck at smalltalk >_<)

I am curious about tomorrows hangover victims.

But why in the name did I sign up for the cleaning afterwards

Anyhow, one of the most amazing days I've had!

    Pics come later.

Just a few add-on facts about me, that have changed in the last two months:
I am 18 now (well, since a month, duh -.-), means I have come of age and I have me drivers license!

I am on summer holidays for another 3 weeks now.

I have a job next week.

And my artistic amition is low right now.

I will use these few days to make this blog work, before I buy myself a Premier membership. ^^

...without music. And even if this entry seems pathetic, I mean it.

I might not have seen or experienced the things some others here have but some things I know for sure about music:

It keeps me going even when I feel stuck or down.
It motivates, it is a vent for good and bad emotions.
It unites people and gives hope.
It can be a mighty weapon or a safe haven.
It says the things we can't say normally without sounding incredibly cheesy.
It inspires and offers wisdom and advice to those who listen carefully.

So turn those speakers up when times get hard and I promise you'll feel better

If the new TF movie is as good as the song I am hooked
I'm looking forward to District 9 too ^^ (Niels Blokamp will direct it. And if that works out I bet they'll finally get on with the Halo-movie as well)

No, I am not going to do a debate on global warming here, but a subjective impression:

Today was the first time in my life that the weather reported tornado-warnings. Not in my Area, but still.

Of course this is not the first time we had Tornados in Germany, but they a so rare that this report actually to me seems like an increase...

So I open my e-mail today and guess what was in my inbox:
A Ubisoft newsletter with the offer to download one for 3 games for free as compensation for the Assassin's Creed 2 server-crash earlier this year.
I also got the first newsletter for regular-edition AC2-customers who were given a code to unlock the 3 bonus areas that come with the black edition, which I passed onto a friend (You know who you are).

And now I can choose between Tom Clancy's Hawx, Endwar or Heroes over Europe...but which one should I take...I think I'll go with Hawx. Nothing like being able to fly an F22 or EF2000 with cosmic rocket-payload.

But this is quite a cool move by Ubisoft. ^^

So, I am back from my one week of internet-relations absence. A few had chats with me over IM or PM during the last few days, but for the others, here's what's been going on:
First of all I was on a 3 day vacation at the northsea coast of Belgium with my parents. As you can guess from the entries opf the last few months, I've been busy, stressed and had to work through some weird, confusing, saddening enraging and other mood-changes due to some private trouble. I needed that trip badly to get some distance, and as far as success goes, I am pretty much feeling nothing when I think about the last 11 months. I am not as cheery as I used to be yet though and I might not be for some time. I'll see what the end of 09 brings for me as far as that problem goes, but I am pretty confident things can be fixed up nicely again. Maybe not in the way they were, but in new, good and solid ways.

When I say I am not cheery that doesn't mean I am not in a good mood. I am in very good mood actually, mainly because I now something like a plan for the next 5 years and where I want to be then.
    Starting with:

I HAVE CIVIL SERVICE SPOT! Yes!Finally! A job!
The office that is responsible for refusal to join the reserve army has send me a letter today and last week I had an interview with the head of patientcare at the local hospital, so I will be hopefully tending to the sick people in the clinic there.
Not as doctor or nurse though. I am not allowed to give medical advise, or perform medical tasks such as laying infusions.
My tasks will be mainly tending to the people in a very sophisticated 1st aid kind of way. So cleaning wounds, changing bandages etc.

The hospital is nearby, so I can ride there by bike. I am not sure what exactly my shifts will be, but most likely I'll work either in the mornings (from 6am on) or in the evenings (until 8pm). Which I find to be a nice timetable since I get half the day off, which lead me directly to my next point on the Agenda for 09:

    MORE FREETIME FOR ART!
Yes. With half a day of and nothing to do in June I plan to advance quite a bit in CGing and hand-drawn art. I have a few drawings in the work but I want to see all of them finished so "new work" will be a bit reduced until I am done with this stuff I work on now. Starting today with working towards the point where I can drop the WIP behind the Vorox

My Oral exam will be on Monday, 14.30, so I still have two days to prepare myself a bit, but it'll be smooth, espescially with the teachers that'll ask me questions.

Plus, it'll be my birthday next month ^^

Speaking of birthday's, my good buddy Adrian turned 18 last week and I actually managed to get myself drunk. Nothing funnier then to see what other people do with methanol in the bloodstream on such an occasion. A very good day ^^

    Now, to less serious matters:

Asassin's Creed rocks! It combines a lot of elements from games I really like. So I get action, acrobatics and the occasional Hitman feeling from it, plus a very open gameworld. One of the best games I've ever played!

Lego-wise, I now have all Glatorian and just lack Berix and Atakus to complete the collection for the first half of 09. I am looing forward to the Legends. Stronius, Gelu and MN are definately on my list.
In the Starwars corner of my room, the CIS and GAR have both gotten new equipment and troops, namely the HMP droid gunship, the Magna-guard fighter and 3 clonetrooper battlepacks. So now my ATTE is actually manned by a 3-man crew of gunners, my Republic Gunship carries a team of ARC-troopers accompanied by two normal troopers and Master Plo Koon, while the Hangar in my cupboard has three walkers and Cmdr. Cody is on patrol with Obi Wan and some more troopers Funtime!
On a sidenote: the Maganguard fighter was not originally intended to be a CIS ship. It is a vessel built by the Utapau on Utapau, with high-preformance jammers, ideal to take on Vultures and Trifighters. But it's nice to see an unused concept from Episode 3 in use.

I guess that's all for now. I am trying to get a bit away from the net these days, mainly to keep a distance to some things and to focus on improving my art. You'll see me around, but not as much.
As far as PM's go though, spam me all you want, I'll answer each and every single one of them.

    Peace out!
