  1. IC: Agrona - Ko-Koro - Citadel The short silence was broken by Agrona who began to hum a tune to herself to awake the insect life that lived under her cloak, their own droning buzz accompanied her new song.
  2. IC: Pae - Ta-Koro - Angelus' Office "The Vault explains the powers and technology," He looked to Kino, "The Brotherhood of Ak'rei'an was part of the attacking force. Echelon probably works with the Piraka now if his alliances expanded."
  3. IC: Pae - Ta-Koro - Angelus' Office Pae did not skip a beat, "My name is Pae," he said, "Kino and I are old associates." The toa of iron had no way of knowing how much Angelus knew about Kino, but it was clear she was trusted here, so he hoped by association he could have helped and be on his way without too many personal questions.
  4. So sorry about my lack of posting. This weeks is going to be insane for me. My priority is Kongu and Le-Koro's party so I'll be getting to that first when I have the chance.
  5. IC: Pae - Ta-Koro - Angelus' Office "The skakdis irregular zamor, Echelon's new mask, Kohra's powers are back, the iron toa's Crast, and the lesterin controlled swarms of insects. The mute had no powers or weapons that were strange, like the kaiakan; not that I saw," he paused, "Each member was well armed. The skakdi had a sniper and many knives, Kohra wielded explosives, the iron toa held a great shield and blade, the lesterin had a few knives, while the kaiakan held an axe and sword, and the mute had two short metal staffs." Pae looked to Angelus again, "What is antidermis?"
  6. Maybe Also, for the record, I'm not staff! I'm just a random player! But from what I've heard staff are pretty busy right now so I don't think you're wrong
  7. I'm actually working on that celebration post right now!
  8. IC: Pae - Ta-Koro - Angelus' Office Pae answered the question without hesitation, "Very large, very strong, and very resilient to attack."
  9. IC: Pae - Ta-Koro - Angelus' Office "Kohra was there," Pae said flatly, "The same vortixx Echelon broke out of your prisons not long ago. There were five others I did not recognize. A toa of iron, a mute toa, a lesterin, a sniper skakdi, and a kaiakan. Many seemed to have strange powers or new technology." Pae waited a moment and looked directly to Kino, "The iron toa wore a black cloak, mask of repulsion. The mute was a toa of magnetism, looked Arthron although he wore a cloth over his mouth. The lesterin was covered head to toe in flowers and beads or skulls and was the only one of the group with light colours on her; Kanohi Sana. The skakdi was covered in weapons. The kaiakan was dark and carried with him a large axe. I have not heard of these beings before, but they took the sanctum guard with great efficiency and clear planning," He paused, "I could write down more."
  10. OOC: Timeskipping Arsix away to Sado to get things going. House, if you'd like to continue the conversation between Arsix and Iolatra via flashback on your own, or a jammed flashback just hit me up, but this needs to happen this week. Suggested listening IC: Dastana Arsix - Sado - Eastern Markets Arsix stepped onto Sado's docks, just east of the markets. For a moment her eyes were fixated on the market-goers and shopkeepers, but she quickly turned her attention to the imperial residences. Arsix's eyes seemed to scan the towers from a distance with a sort of concentration, as if she was waiting for something. This was interrupted however, when First Son Jasik slid up next to her pretending to care about the position of the sun in the sky, "What took you so long in Obaida? Did you stop for some sight-seeing?" Arsix gave Jasik a small look, "You sound like you missed me." "I didn't know if I could go on honestly," Jasik said absolutely dishonestly, "Without you by my side, I had no idea what to do with myself." Arsix turned again to the capital's towers, staring at them intently, "Iolatra was there to mediate for her cousin. They've accepted my declaration so at the very least we should be able to avoid angering an entire group of clans by proxy of our own people." The Toroshu said calmly, giving Jasik a telling look. After a brief moment the twins shared one more glance before stepping off the docks and into the market. To their sides, a small guard walked, while others began to bleed into the market-place. Their job was to spread the same message that Arsix was now giving, "People of the Dasaka Empire! Hear me, Toroshu Arsix! Hear my proclamation!" Since most of the traders were Dastana, to see their matriarch marching past them with the promise of demonstration was enough to make swaths of people - even within ear-shot - to follow. "Come! Hear this proclamation!" Arsix felt right at home. To anybody that looked to her as she constantly repeated her message through the streets, she could only be described as unsettlingly at peace. She walked within the perfect balance of rage and serenity, and with it, came a power virtually emanating from her being. This power was a result of the fire in her chest. Not a newly lit fire, but a patient one. Knowing when to grow, and knowing when to remain unchanged. Going largely unnoticed, this small flame was about to make a declaration, but now as a billowing pillar of fire. More market-goers began to follow, and with it there was a spreading of the message that Arsix no longer needed to take part in. Something was happening, and everybody would want to be there for it. Not only were people within the single street following, but followers were now recruiting more followers adjacent to the twins. Whispers that told of the twins coming became murmurs and then shouts, "A proclamation!", "She's marching towards the towers!", or "Toroshu Arsix to make a proclamation!" The famous eyes looked up the road to look yet again at the approaching capital. Her and her brother looked to each other, and Arsix felt her hand grips his. By the time the twins reached the outer ring of the palace, they had amassed behind them what could only be described as a small army, made up completely of market-people. Traders and consumers alike stood behind her. Arsix breathed in, became taller and began to shout, her words supplemented with her willhammer powers, "My family's future has been called into question in recent days," She turned and faced her audience, "My brother and I stand before you all, at the Rora's front steps, to make this clear for you all!" She felt the fire within come forth on her tongue, as she turned to face the Rora's stead over the residences, "Clan Dastana no longer recognizes the Rora's authority!" There was a sudden hush, "The Rora is not entitled to the profits of people she does not respect!" Her voice began to rise in intensity, "The Rora has no right to the resources my clan makes for themselves! The Rora has no right to clan Dastana! And no sanctions, no threats, and no army at my doorstep will ever change that!" Arsix reached over her shoulder and unclasped golden buttons to cast off her rich cloth, "We secede!" At the roar behind her, Arsix turned hard on her heel, and in a matter of seconds, Jasik and Arsix had vanished into the crowd. OOC: TL;DR Clan Dastana no longer considers themselves part of the Empire and have officially seceded.
  11. IC: Agrona - Ko-Koro - The Citadel Agrona waited for a moment before responding quickly, 'What were you doing for her?'
  12. IC: Agrona - Ko-Koro - The Citadel Agrona gave a thoughtful nod, 'Did they escape?'
  13. IC: Agrona - Ko-Wahi - The Citadel Agrona raised an eye-brow and with her hands and fingers she asked a simple question, 'Who?'
  14. IC: Tio - Onu-Wahi - Cavern Entrance Without hesitating, I pressed past my comrades and readied both my blade and shield. I was rather surprised by my own action. It seemed instinctual, and now by the way I was positioned it seemed to me that this was natural. I was at the forefront, and the first line of defense between an enemy and my team-mates, "Stay where you are," I said sharply but calmly. While Tsuda addressed the newcomer I continued, hoping he could understand me, "Who are you?"
  15. IC: Agrona - Ko-Wahi - The Citadel 'They think we don't believe in their power,' Agrona signed back, trying to keep to rudiment words to avoid any confusions. Toros had learned a lot in recent days, but it would be a while before they could get too complicated. The language was still pretty clunky. She tried to search for the word that would indicate Syvra and quickly found how to phrase her statement, 'The cultist you fought, Kini-Nui, had power we knew about though.' She waited a moment, 'Why were you there?'
  16. This is correct! Agrona laid claim to the bodies outside the village and has been collecting many corpses since the initial take-over. Not sure if she has more as I'm willing to bet a cult who specialize in zombification would have done their fair share of snatching pretty quickly, but Agrona had a monopoly on those that were killed by Rorg and a few others as they fled the village. She's got quite a lot at least. Don't try taking them either Also, since college has started back up for me again, I'll be spending less time here. If you need to interact with me and I'm taking a while to respond, please PM me! I often forget about interactions I have going on, or don't have the time to read up the topics I have characters in.
  17. IC: Agrona - Ko-Koro - The Citadel Agrona glanced to Toros, signing silently, 'What do you think?'
  18. Very cool! I don't think I'll be participating, but this seems interesting and rather fun! Good luck to everybody involved!
  19. IC: Dastana Arsix It seemed so forced. Not talking with Iolatra or touring with her, but Arsix simply being here. She - nor her family - had ever taken the time to visit Taajar clans or take the time to learn more about them. Arsix had suspected it might seem strange, and unfortunately that seemed to be the case. She only wondered how Iolatra felt. "Thank you, but there is someplace I must be tonight in Sado. Unfortunately I've booked myself into a corner. I'm on a strict schedule starting this evening. I would happily repay you a visit in the coming weeks if it is something you wish," Arsix said, "In fact I must part soon. Before I leave however, I want to say a few things," she stopped, facing Iolatra, "I'm sure you're aware of the political turmoil currently under-way in the Empire. The word of war is whispered through the streets and I know they've made their way here too," Arsix said, "I want you to understand that war affects especially those doing the real fighting, while people like myself and the other Toroshu get to evade much of it. If I'm honest, people in the capital have looked to your people as a chance to buffer their own safeties. They'd easily trade the lives of your people for their own interests. People like me are craving for something to give that pulls you their direction, and those directions are polarizing." Arsix's tone was serious, "Tonight, there will be a controversy. One that truly splits down the Imperials in two. I'm praying and planning for the best outcome I can, but in the end I am only one piece of this game and I cannot stay the weapons that do not belong to me. War may come to the Kentoku Archipelago," her eyes seemed to soften, "You are not my shield nor should you be for anyone else. I must ask that you and your cousin remain free of whatever war is pressed upon you. Do not let people like myself make you a buffer, do you understand what it is I'm saying?"
  20. Yeah we don't do that here. It would be a loss of consequence.
  21. That's why Agrona scars the people she heals, because she knows they won't fix it with another Sana. Sooner or later, everybody gets marked EDIT: Forgot to mention, Agrona has certainly experimented with her mask and her knowledge of the body continues to grow after years of dissections and continuing dissection. She can't quite put an arm back together, but she can do it wrong intentionally. So long as she does it for a purpose anyways.
  22. IC: Agrona - Ko-Koro - The Citadel Agrona almost laughed to herself. Larikon would prove nothing to Echelon with his powers. Echelon and his team knew the capabilities Ak'rei'an brought to the table, she herself had read the book - and actually found it somewhat intriguing. Knowledge and demonstration were not the problem. She gave a little sigh and looked across the room, hoping to catch Sylus' attention.
  23. IC: Tio - Onu-Wahi "Tsuda's right," I began, "There isn't really any good way to tell how far we are from... whatever's down there." I paused for a moment to say, "Could Lehti head down the stacks to see how deep it is?" I looked to Lehti as if to see how she thought on the matter.
  24. IC: Pae - Ta-Koro - Angelus' Office "Komau," Pae said simply, and with a hint of disdain. It was a clear indicator of rising powers unknown to the rest of the island, "Not Onewa's. I had a close look at the group before getting Korzaa out."
