  1. IC: Agrona Agrona walked alongside Londar's levitating body, Toros heeling next to her, "Be careful what it is you ask of us," she sneered, "We may grant your wish in a way you don't want." She turned to Toros and signed with her hands to him, 'Are you alright?' IC: Pae The Toa of iron was fidgety on the other side of his many-layered protective walls which lined the hallway. Pae fumed. Where was Nika? Had Jin found Korzaa? If so, did she succeed in convincing her of her safety? Was Nika engaging the enemy? Had he succeeded or had he failed? Maybe he was dead. Echelon might have killed him. Echelon might kill him and Jin too. They couldallbedead. Therewasno safetyhereinPae'sworld. Korzaacouldrefuse. KorzaacouldkillJin.somanyvariablesvariablesvariablesvariablesvariablesariglbesavrifls- be still There may be gods; but they are fools. They may hold the power of immortal ancients, but to me they are nothing more than players in our game of life; death will become them. I breath in; out oftimeoutoftimeoutof- be calm; be still What did Vera Polzin promise me for my deeds? That's a good question. I'm not sure even I really knew. It was so abstract; so distant from the living world, so far from the grasp of my desperate fingers. I feared I could never reach it, and it is here that my fear becomes tenfold; panic is what I have become. I may die here fighting for men and women who never in their lives would ever give a second of thought to me. There was never a notion of significance surrounding the young boy from Xa-Koro for these people. They were blind to my world; not to mention blind to me. I may die here fighting for the safe, the arrogant, and the ignorant. I will become death. In; out of options. I close my eyes for just a moment; shoulders tight. In; out I open my eyes once more; my body relaxes. Fail or succeed, I would get what Vera Polzin promised me. In life or death, I would be at peace. It was time to decide which one would grant me this promise. Pae to the onlookers sighed outwards, resting into his own stance. His fingers lightly held the javelin now, no longer gripping the handle with tension. His feet kissed the ground where he lightly stood. This action seemed to silence the guards behind him. Pae had never felt so still in his entire life than now; waiting in the silence for the Nightfall to ascend the staircase for his head.
  2. IC: Agrona Agrona, as she scaled the steps into the blown out door, shifted her song to something a little colder. The insects that attacked her fellow Lesterin left him, flying to land on and follow her behind her fellow light-fellers. IC: Pae Pae skidded up the steps, slamming his foot against the wall before pushing hard, launching him into the halls. He turned again, skidding. Every stage of his choices was all about playing back or ahead. His hands went up, and more iron walls blocked the stair case. This time, they were rather thin, but there was now multiples of them - about a foot apart from each other layered up the steps. A single explosion might not do to get through each layer even if as individuals they were weaker. He took a moment to wipe the blood that ran down his face as he turned. This wasn't going to work. At least one of Echelon's friends would make their way up the steps, blasting through his shoddy defenses. Without taking his eyes off the iron screens Pae addressed the guards, "Collect your strength." The Toa of iron placed one final iron wall up in the hallway and took six paces back from it. In his hand materialized a long metal pike. He was rather low in elemental energy now, and bided his future options accordingly. The moment the final wall was destroyed, Pae would send the spear through it, piercing whoever was in the hallway clean through. That was the plan at least. Pae knew planning against Legacy members required a certain level of improvisation.
  3. Only Jin is speaking to Korzaa in the sanctum hallways. Nika is stationed across the street of the sanctum with his lightstone rifle while Pae has only now made his way up the strairs - working to stall the attackers.
  4. IC: Pae Pae was knocked back into the hall along with a number of guards at the resulting explosion. Ears ringing and head pounding, Pae scrambled to his feet. He felt hot blood trickle down his forehead. The Toa of iron weighed his options as the last of the debris hit the floor. They were not going to have any time to properly speak to Korzaa and he knew it. He couldn't stall much more than he already had without getting himself into deeper trouble. And now that the doors were open it'd mean Echelon would have a clear shot on him in hardly a moment now, and if he knew Echelon, he'd take the opportunity. He had two options. Run away and help Jin find Korzaa, or stall further. Nika's rifle could be useful in helping stall, but with a trade-off of Pae's likely death. Nika had good foresight it seemed. Pae chose to do both. Pae expended another chunk of his energy to pick up his own destroyed iron doors and throw them as hard as his element would allow through the smoke and down the steps. Those outside would likely need to stop what they were doing to either avoid the iron, or stop it mid-flight, making for the perfect targets. And in a rare moment his voice boomed over all the shouting and fighting to reach his partner across the street, "Nika! Now!" Before waiting for his voice to even carry across the street, Pae activated his kakama, and began running up the stairs after Jin, his head like a thousand drums.
  5. IC: Gukko Force NPC's "Good," the guard nodded, "Head out, calling for others to join you. You'll find more guard with instructions there."
  6. OOC: Fixed! IC: Agrona "Nobody is free of desecration," Agrona said sweetly, "Even the village of Ko-Koro is full of greed and misuse. You defend a broken system," she sighed, "Nonetheless, here we are," she hummed a few quick notes, the insects changing the way they danced, "And to clarify, I am your lord. I have no equal," she smiled before squeaking, "Step aside." She walked forward and began to sing again, the insects swarmed onto their prey again as Agrona began scaling the steps to the Sanctum. Before any of the attackers could move to the doors to finally enter, there was a black flash from across the street. IC: Pae Pae, carrying Jin, shot up the stairs jumping at the top step to fly through the doors and into the Sanctum, he turned and spun as he landed inside to let down Jin and manipulate his own element. The doors slammed shut before the guard behind him could react to their entrance. Iron walls began to rise from the floor, covering the doors. This was when things would get tricky. He had once more betrayed one of the most dangerous Toa on the island, and the betrayal wouldn't last long either. In a matter of seconds, the thick walls would be cast aside or broken away. He knew it wouldn't matter, but the gesture was what was important. The guard needed to know he and Jin were on their side. * * * * * * I blew a kiss to Big Boy as Pae escorted me into the Citadel. Then the doors came to behind us, and I snapped into business mode. "Hey, shorty," I called, addressing one of several Ko-Matoran guards. Behind me, I could hear Pae doing something-or-other to deal with Echelon and crew. The guards' faces went from suspicion to something resembling trust as they watched my partner bolster the defenses. "Look, we don't gotta a lot of time. I know you probably don't trust me, and you shouldn't, especially not now. But you know Ambages? I'm his girl, and I need to talk to Korzaa. Where is she?" I guessed it was fifty-fifty as to whether they'd agree or shoot me in the throat. But Pae's iron wall seemed to convince them. We were helping to keep the big bad wolf from blowing their house down, and they didn't have the luxury of getting picky over allies. So their captain nodded and pointed up at a narrow flight of stairs. "Up on the walls. Go!" I went.
  7. Not quite! There hasn't been any posta yet outlining the fire gukko dropping water on the flames.
  8. Le-Koro/Karata's Rama-riders Alright, really sorry this took so long. But here we go. This is what's happening - The Gukko Force is evacuating Le-Koro The Gukko Force is also asking all of Le-Koro to help fight the entropy beetles as they've planned in the post (the post will outline the overall plan, next few will go into specifics) The Rama riders (sorry I haven't posted with them till now! Figured it was a good time to bring them back.) are moving from Matau's Palm to help out Word has been sent out to Kongu who is in Ta-Koro asking for his return Things the Gukko Force are really looking for - People with powers like ice, plasma, fire, gravity, air. Anything will be really useful if used correctly (to prevent the movement of beetles, mating of beetles, and to help kill beetles are the three ideas the Force is operating off of.). Please RP that your character who wants to help talking to a guard at either chutes, the elevator below the Koro, or in the market and they can direct you accordingly. This isn't going to be easy, but let's see what happens when the whole village is rallying under specific crisis plans. Good luck! Let's make Le-Wahi history! For better or for worse, this is going to be epic. I'll do my best to coordinate.
  9. IC: Gukko Force NPC's Gathering in the marketplace seemed odd. Le-Koro was very much accustomed to the hustle and bustle, but now it was still. "For those of you unaware, there is a threat that dark-clouds over Le-Koro," a forcewoman started, "Firstly, there is a fire, although protocol dictates it will likely be taken care of. Secondly we have discovered an insect, quick-breeding in the jungle, rapidly eating the high-branches away," she was calm and in control, although her tone still communicated the seriousness of the threat, "We have a plan to deal with this threat. Hopefully, we can control the direction it spreads, by controlling it with Toa-hero elements, controlled burns, and controlled cutting." Her jaw tightened, "Our hope is to turn the insect population towards itself, leaving it nothing to eat while we kill them," she turned, atop the pedestal in the street to properly address all present, "This is nothing we have ever seen. We must ask that the village be evacuated to the jungle floor in the event these threats reach us. There are guards station in at each chute station, awaiting to give you your instructions. We can risk no error, and cannot risk chaos. Word has been sent to Akiri Kongu calling for his leadership, but for now your cooperation is required. We have a long while before we think the insects can reach us, but we will not take chances. Act calmly and accordingly. We may lose our home." The silence grew louder, "We will take every willing man woman and child! To fly, to work, to fight." she shouted, "There is instruction waiting with each guard at the chutes, or my comrades present here," she gestured to the others, "The first party has left to put out the flames and to scout and monitor the insect swarm that threatens our home." She stepped forward as the murmur of the crowd grew, "Gather whatever you can! Axes for cutting! Weapons for crushing! Toa-heroes for freezing and burning! Gukko for quick-messenging and quick transport! This is a threat to all of us, so all of you now - the life of the jungle- tree-bright Le-Koro - this is a call to arms! Fly! Fly for your village!" She cheered, and with that Le-Wahi sounded as if the whole jungle had risen up in shouts of grandeur. IC: Karata The construction team had been hard at work for a long time at the Palm of Matau's. And so far, the job was rather uneventful. Karata's Rama-riders had encountered little to no conflict while protecting the construction of towers, huts, and agricultural centers. Today was different. Having called the team together, Karata stood before them, underneath the lookout tower next to the river bed. She got right to the point, "Today I have received word thanks to quick-fliers that Le-Koro has asked for our aid," the tattooed Matoran of air looked from member to member, "Suit up. I will explain what I know on our flight. My instruction is leave immediately."
  10. IC: Agrona Agrona's swarm of insects were struck by lightening, killing a substantial number of them. She continued to sing, rising in pitch in vibrato. The insects matched the sounds she made, biting more furiously, searching for open pores. She briefly paused, as the flurry of bugs dispersed a little ways, granting her sight to the Lesterin before her. Agrona looked him in the eyes. To the defender, the flower-queen cooed, "Will you bow to your lords?" She tilted her head, humming, making the insects dance happily about the air, "Or does your hopeless code of honor bound you to your death on this day? Choose your words wisely my darling, for what you speak will carry great consequence." OOC: Please, anybody let me know if I've missed something!
  11. There was a silence which screamed so loud it felt to all present as if their ears might pop. A royal response
  12. IC: Dastana Arsix Arsix looked on as if she knew what Rayuke's answer would be in response to Jasik's explanation, "Rayuke, I understand that you search for answers," her eyes were as sharp is the world's finest blades, "Your position requires it of you. And no doubt as the Rora's brother you feel some pain for her death. I understand that," she stood up, her voice as cool as her alien eyes, "You say that if your staff can help - we only have to ask." Hey eyes seemed to swallow attention now, even Rayuke seeming smaller, "You've proven we were framed. Yet our mother is dead. Unless you can bring her back to life then there is nothing you can do for my brother and I." She took a breath, refusing to look away from the hulking executioner, much like Jasik had, "The bottom line is that what's done is done, and instead of looking to quell death in the marketplace you come to speak to us. In principle I understand why, but in practice you've accomplished nothing today. There's blood in the streets and the courts for a reason. Reasons not you nor I can change." Inside, Dastana Arsix was fearful of her own words, but on the outside she appeared wholly in charge, "You cannot stop the raging seas or the swirling storms. No matter what powers you hold, the waves will still crash against the shore and the storm will tear apart anything it touches. The force of nature answers to noone. Even those born into power without true rite of passage. "I wanted to know who killed your sister as much as you. Not that I cared for her - your mask will tell you truthfully that I did not - but because now we have suffered your slowness to action and your ignorance. If you came to me and my brother the night of the murder we may have solved this mess," she grew, "But because you waited, the blood in the streets is on nobody's hands but your own. "It doesn't matter if you find the true killer because as far as I'm concerned they are standing right in front of me in the form of a royal delegation and glorified lie-detector - too slow to answer the cries of justice from even your own people. I expect mistakes from any Dasaka under the sun. When a farmer makes a mistake she is harmed in the Rora's name. Yet when the you, the Rora's brother makes a mistake he is invincible. You might not see what you've done as a mistake, but I do and I'm not the only one. The moment you walk out those doors and the announcement is heralded, the name chanted by the people will no longer be Jasik Dastana. It will be yours, despite being untouchable." Arsix stopped. The witnesses in the room seemed unsure about what to do or say as the young Toroshu defiantly accused the accuser of the crimes he'd worked his whole life to prevent, but there was one thing they knew; they couldn't look away, "I am the raging sea and swirling storm, and I do not answer to the petty questions that you - born into your power without true rite of passage - so hopelessly ask. So take your questions elsewhere, as I could and would not answer them." There was a silence which screamed so loud it felt to all present as if their ears might pop. "Executioner," Jasik spoke up, sounding just as controlled as his sister looked, "if you would allow me to walk you back out."
  13. Le-Koro - Defence Anybody in Le-Koro might want to check this post out. Meet in the market if you want to lend a helping hand. This is called co-ordination
  14. IC: Gukko Force NPC's The Gukko took flight into the skies. Fire was not new to protocol. Le-Koro had been prepared for something like a wild-fire almost since the inception of the village. Large cargo carriers Gukko slowly rose behind the first wave of Kongu's Wind-riders. The fire would be put out easily with the release of tons of water upon the flames. The insects were a totally different story. As the first wave began flying towards to the smoke in the jungle, a second team was being assembled. Forcemen and Forcewomen glided through the branches of the village, "Volunteers! Le-Koro needs your help! Gather in the market!" Their cries were heard all throughout the streets, "Volunteers! Gather in the market!"

    VICTORY!

It doesn't seem likely to be a soft reset - LEGO has always leaned towards rebooting franchises of theirs with little to no continuations of sets. BIONICLE won't be much different. LEGO might care about old fans, but they know there's less of us than there are new potential fans. Fans they'd scare away with a continuation (a soft reset might be possible however unlikely). Few 12 year-olds want to read ten years of backstory. Sorry, I just don't see it happening. I do see an Arthaka set eventually coming out though.
  16. Hey so it looks like I have some actual time to help deal with some entropy beetles/fire in Le-Wahi today. What's the status currently?
  17. If you guys would like to hear my ideas for how to help deal with the bugs, can I have whoever'd like to head up the defence PM me?
  18. Speaking of Koro's I'm really struggling to get proper Le NPC responses. Sorry team but college is driving me crazy right now.
  19. IC: Agrona As the gravity field fell, Agrona spun down around Echelon's torso, landing smoothly into a brisk step. With her hand still raised, the buzzing in her head began to grow and a buzzing outside her head as well. She began to hum a pitch to contrast the atonal drone. Her cloak lifted off the ground, and from the contours of her armor, they came forth. At the command of her song, insects poured out her armor and cloth and into a vast swarm. The cloud shifted and swirled rapidly, agitated and singing their own terrible song. At the change of her tuning, they shifted, and the hundreds of bugs began flying towards Revekk.
  20. IC: Dastana Arsix "Does it look like he has breasts," Arsix said, sitting coolly in her seat, hands folded, cloak still on, "He's Jasik."
  21. IC: Dastana Arsix For a moment, as if silently deciding what to do the twins stayed still. Their gazes didn't break away from Rayuke, and instead remained fixated on the executioner. Deciding without thought or word, the twins finally looked to one another as Dastana Jasik reached for the clasp over his cloak and undid it, standing up. Arsix watched her brother leave his seat, somewhat unsure of what to expect from the situation. They knew that eventually Rayuke would make his way to them both, searching for answers. Yet, despite complex planning, there was nothing really they could do to avoid their meeting him. It was inevitable. Dastana Arsix planned for a lot of things, but this was one situation that she held little control over.
  22. IC: Pae Pae spared Jin no real acknowledgement, "Let them take care of that."
  23. IC: Agrona Agrona had latched onto Echelon as he stuck himself to the ground in an effort to prevent herself from falling into the gravity well too. Sort of wrapped over his shoulders, she pushed back and straightened up as Echelon's gaze fixed onto the Paladin. Rorg is hit. Eisen behind Echelon and her might've sustained injuries from the crystals. She'd have a big job after this one to take care of, "You're right. I can't bring any of you back from the dead Echelon." With a humph she looked over to Toros, locked in combat. She lifted her hand, and within her head she could hear a low buzzing beginning to rise. IC: Pae "I don't think there's time to fight and steal files. Echelon will question me once he has what he came for," he paused, speaking quietly just so Nika could hear him, "If I know Echelon," Pae started again, "He's aiming for Korzaa. It's what I would do. We could help her for information."
  24. IC: The Captain turned away and walked towards the apartments entrance, vanishing through the door. After a minute or so of waiting, the Captain returned, "First son Dastana Jasik will see you now." The gates began to open and allowed Rayuke access to the other side of the walls. Some guards at the gate joined the Imperial Executioner to escort him and his own guards up the entrance. Once inside, Rayuke was greeted by one of the twins who stood in the foyer next to a guard of their own. Unclear whether or not it was Arsix or Jasik as they wore a cloak which covered their body save their face Rayuke listened, "Grand Executioner Rayuke. We appreciate your coming to see us," at first it seemed as if Rayuke would have been able to discern which twin was before him, yet having never spoken to either it was proving rather difficult. As they were nearly-identical in appearance, their voices were strikingly similar as well, "We were afraid that you would rather dismiss the truth and allow these conflicts to run their course - to leave us alone," they continued truthfully, "Please, come upstairs where we can continue without prying ears."
