I find "to" to be a lot more interesting because of its status as a grammatical particle - that is, its exact meaning and usage in language is nigh impossible to express in words in the form of a definition.
I, myself, find "for" to be very entertaining. The idea of doing something "for" something else can get quite complex when morals and reasoning are invloved.
