By the way, a band recommendation: Anacrusis. Progressive/Thrash Metal band that was around in the late 80s and early 90s, released four albums - two of which are considered Thrash classics - before disbanding in 1994. Their albums are all available free to download on their site.

you should check out Seasons After, they seem like a band you'd like.
