Akshully, you can catch Lapras in D/P. Can't quite figure out where, but there is a certain spot that it can be found after you defeat the Elite Four. Rhydon is now outclassed by its evolution, Rhyperior. Just so ya know.

There are some pretty sweet Water Pokemon. Gyarados, Vaporeon, Floatzel, Swampert.... Yeah, there sure are.
