  1. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/stories/2023/01/1-04-2023-BioniLUG.jpg 2022 was a pretty good year for MOCs, and BioniLUG members closed it out by posting a lot of good creations as the year ended, from contest entries to Secret Santa gift MOCs. Read on to see a small selection of their talent; we look forward to seeing what everybody makes for 2023.View the full article
  2. It's a new year, and we're starting it off by delaying our weekly videogame stream to Wednesday due to some scheduling conflicts. We'll be over at the BZPower Twitch channel on Wednesday, January 4th to head back to LEGO Dimensions and visit the Legends of Chima world (remember when that was a theme?)! I'm excited for some anthropomorphic animals!View the full article

  5. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-31.jpg Most Bionicle MOCs tend to lean towards the Toa sizes, but one of the fun parts about the original run of the theme was the various Matoran populating the world of Mata Nui and beyond. Well, back in May, a bunch of talented builders took to creating smaller Matoran designs in their Hardworking Citizens collab. There are a lot of fun and clever builds, so read on to check them all out.View the full article
  6. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-30.jpg The Bohrok Kal were supposed to be the elite of the Bohrok forces in the story, but they were only just recolors of the original sets, which made them one of the more disappointing waves of Bionicle villains. But back in May there was an effort to remake these in the Swarm Sentinel Bohrok Kal collab. Read on to see the upgrades that all the Kal got.View the full article
  7. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-29.jpg Back in April, there was a collab to recreate the Vahki, the robotic law enforcement from the Metru Nui saga of 2004. The original Vahki sets all shared the same design in new colors, but these MOCs are quite varied. Read on to check out the entries by Ron Folkers, Alex Mertens, Ezreel, and Petersheikah. 8. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-28.jpg PITtober returns in 2022 to showcase a bunch of undersea creatures that would've fit in with the underwater 2007 Mahri Nui theme. This year's collection of sea life are very bizarre and potentially nightmare inducing... but it's okay because they're all extinct, or so we hope. Read on to see the models from this collab.View the full article

  10. It's Twitch Tuesday time! Tonight we'll be over on the BZPower Twitch channel playing more LEGO The Incredibles, completing levels and hopefully getting achievements to successfully pop this time around. Looking forward to seeing you all there starting at 7:30 PM Eastern!View the full article
  11. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-27.jpg Today, we're looking at Effunderax by Infrared (MtMNC). Built this summer for a Bota Magna dinosaur contest, this critter makes good use of the wing piece for the shapely head. The color scheme on the upper body is quite nice, with the sleek black armor along the shoulders and the tail matching the head. It is a bit disappointing that two different shades of green were used on the legs. Still, it's a very intimidating specimen.View the full article
  12. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-26.jpg Today, we're looking at Kasdya - Watcher Angel by Ben. Somebody's watching you this Boxing Day. The torso has a very interesting shape to it, and that's before addressing all the eyes. The rest of the build comes together with some neat limb designs and a solid color scheme.View the full article
  13. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-25.jpg Today, we're looking at Green Goblin by Nikita Nikolsky. Let's celebrate the holidays with a pumpkin bomb! The texture on the Goblin's suit is really well done and reminiscent of the movie. Then a bunch of bulky Bionicle pieces went to good use in making the technical glider. Very impressive.View the full article
  14. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-24.jpg Today, we're looking at Otomo by Mitch Henry. It's safe to say that is would be difficult to pin down exactly what this looks like, but it has some great (if bizarre) shaping to it, as well as incorporating some retro 90s color schemes. Not to mention the usage of some rarer elements too. Nifty.View the full article
  15. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-23.jpg Today, we're looking at The Great Dark Hunter Flamrezz by The Maestro. Built for a Hunter themed contest, this Dark Hunter is ready to turn the heat up. The main body is quite simple, but the scarf of flamethrowers is quite eye catching and makes good use of the repeating curve.View the full article

  17. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-22.jpg Back in February, there was a challenge to build Hero Factory MOCs for herofebruary. Joe Swansus, Matt Goldberg, and The Underscored Double rose to the challenge to recreate heroes and villains alike. Read on to see their MOCs. View the full article
  18. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-21.jpg Today, we're looking at Ussanui Combiner Model by Toa Jaton. Another What If contest entry, this one re-imagines the Ussanui set as an actual combiner model made using the Rahkshi. The design isn't particularly sleek compared to modern building standards, but it does a great job of recreating the shape of the original set with a very limited (and somewhat colorful) parts selection. And all things considered, the concept is more movie accurate than the original set! (Although still don't see where Hahli could hide in this one either.)View the full article
  19. It's Tuesday again, so join us over on the BZPower Twitch channel starting at 7:30 PM Eastern as we jump back into LEGO The Incredibles. We're chugging along towards 100% completion and would love to see you there to cheer us on!View the full article

  21. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-19.jpg Today, we're looking at Axalara S2 by Woodward. This rebuild of Axalara is very sleek and streamline, making good use of the panels and using some nice angles for the wings and weapon systems. This looks like it could've been a fun and affordable set. View the full article
  22. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-18.jpg Today, we're looking at Turaga Vakama by Cody Avery. Built for the LEGO Ideas Bionicle contest, this does an outstanding job of recreating our favorite village elder. The limbs are simple but still articulate, giving him more poses than the original set. But the main standout is the eyebrows, which look great here. View the full article
  23. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-17.jpg Today, we're looking at Lariska by alex_mocs. Another build for a Lariska contest, this one gives her a very sleek futuristic look with a lot of good uses of teal. Of course, her robot arm also stands out in both design and color. She'll look very elegant as she hunts you down.View the full article
  24. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/12/Bestof2022-16.jpg Today, we're looking at Mata Nui Rising by ArmoredBricks. Built for the LEGO Ideas Bionicle contest, this functionalizes Mata Nui's rise, showcasing the detailed island and a Great Spirit Robot face. The details in both are great and immediately recognizable, and the simple function looks quite fun. View the full article
