The upcoming Disney+ exclusive LEGO Star Wars Summer Vacation is less than two weeks away, and earlier today a new clip went up on the Star Wars YouTube channel. Finn, Poe, Rey, Rose, and the rest of the sequel trilogy gang are taking an intergalactic cruise on the Halcyon, and I'm sure nothing bad will happen. It looks like LEGO IDEAS isn't going to leave us completely high and dry for Bionicle content; their latest contest is 90TH ANNIVERSARY: BIONICLE THEME CELEBRATIONS. The entry period is from July 21st to August 4th, so less than a week to make something, but there's a plethora of cool Anniversary prizes going out to the winner. It's quite the feeling to wake up and realize that nearly twenty-one years have gone by since you stumbled across a new Bionicle fan site that would go on to alter the course of your life. It's been over two decades since Dimensioneer started the site that would go on to become BZPower (after starting out as Bionicle Zone and later BZCommunity after an early letter from the LEGO lawyers) and somehow we're still here! I'm thankful every day for the friends I've made and experiences I've had thanks to this site and know many of you feel the same. After missing a couple of years thanks to a pandemic or something, final voting for this contest will take place at BrickFair Virginia, which runs from August 3rd through 7th.
