  3. How is March almost over already? How many times have I made a bad joke like that in one of these stories? Attempts at humor aside, there's only a few days left to enter the 2022 Member Raffle #2 and 2022 Member Raffle #3, thanks to the forum downtime last month. You could win either LEGO Star Wars Buildable Figure set 75523 Scarif Stormtrooper or 75537 Darth Maul to add to your CCBS collection. Best of luck to everyone who enters!View the full article

  6. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/stories/2022/03/3-25-2022-MiniTahu.jpg The fan community is abuzz because a new LEGO set has been revealed with a Bionicle character in it... although perhaps not in the way many of us were expecting. The French retailer La Grande Récré recently published images for a new LEGO Classic set to celebrate the company's 90th anniversary. The set includes mini builds of various popular models from the company's past, including a small, brick build Toa of Fire. It's a cute homage to our favorite theme, and has some other fun mini builds included in it, making it one of the more interesting Classic sets IMO.View the full article
  7. A new LEGO game was announced earlier this week, coming from publisher Thunderful Games. LEGO Bricktales looks like it will encourage building with bricks to solve unique problems and challenges as you journey between differently themed areas like Pirates, Castle, City, Adventurers, and more! The game is being developed by ClockStone Studios, makers of the popular Bridge Constructor series, so you know they're going to be putting an emphasis on physics simulation. You can see that for yourself in the LEGO Bricktales Announcement Trailer over on YouTube, as the player tries several times to build a successful flying machine. I'll definitely be checking this out when it releases later this year during our Twitch Tuesday streams!View the full article
  8. Several LEGO Ideas to reach 10,000 votes bring life to the quaint city streets and fresh outdoor markets, and the farms where such produce might come from. Hoping to expand on the ever-popular city street scene--a classic among builders most notably with the Green Grocer modular building--Lepralego presents a scene from Notting Hill, a portion of town with bustling boutiques, homes, and shops, in The Notting Hill Market. But how did such a variety of foods and flowers make their way to town? Perhaps through benlouisa's Farm Life, complete with barn and interior, vehicles, and family, perfect for the edge of any city scene. Congrats to these two! Now they just await the review process.View the full article
  9. You may remember Darkflame Universe from when we mentioned its appearance on the Bits N' Bricks podcast last year, and the fan-made recreation of LEGO Universe has been continuing to mature. By the end of last year, they made their MMO server open source, which prompted BZPower member BULiK to set up the Unofficial BZPower Darkflame Lego Universe Server, allowing people to play the MMO once again! If you're interested, head over to the topic to see what you need to do to join. A bit of technical know-how is required, so make sure you follow the instructions carefully and double-check things before you start asking BULiK for help, as he's doing this for fun. This is a cool opportunity to experience (or revisit) a dead game that's been given new life!View the full article
  10. After a two week break, we're back and ready to play some videogames again! We'll be picking up where we left off in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean as we work our way towards 100% completion. We have to work fast though, with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga looming on the horizon. Stop on by the BZPower Twitch channel starting at 7:30 PM Eastern tonight to watch and see how much progress we make!View the full article
  11. Earlier today Mike Nelson from Xbox Wire shared 5 Things They're Most Excited for in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, highlighting five of the key aspects of the upcoming game. There's also a five minute video interviewing several of the developers behind the game explaining some of the new features and things you have to look forward to. The game is just over two weeks away, and I'm pumped to check it out for myself and play it in our Twitch Tuesday streams!View the full article
  12. Tomorrow we'll be starting the process of assembling the LEGO Star Wars 75309 Republic Gunship, one of the few Ultimate Collector Series sets based on the prequel trilogy and a true behemoth of a build. Come on by the BZPower Twitch channel starting at 1 PM Eastern on March 20th as we begin! We definitely won't finish tomorrow, so if you miss it you'll get a chance to see some more in the coming weeks. We're looking forward to chatting, giving away some sets, and watching the LAAT/i come to life!View the full article
  13. If the Internet is to be believed, the most amazing LEGO set of all time was announced this morning. As you can read over in the LEGO newsroom, 10300 Back to the Future Time Machine will go on sale on April 1st for $170 in the US. The 1872-piece set contains the parts and instructions to build either of the three configurations from each film in the trilogy, although sadly you'll have to buy three copies if you want to display them all at once. While I find the movies entertaining, I don't feel overly compelled to pick this one up, but if you do, you'll want to log onto S@H as soon as it goes on sale next month, as the first batch is sure to sell out fast.View the full article

  21. Another Tuesday, another Twitch stream! Stop by the BZPower Twitch Channel starting at 7:30 PM Eastern as we head back to LEGO Dimensions for what will probably be the last time for a while. We were originally planning on checking out the DC Comics Team Pack, but due to a failure in properly inventorying my collection, we're calling an audible and will be opening the Doctor Who Fun Pack featuring a Cyberman and a Dalek. Come by and see what adventures we go on through time and space!View the full article
  22. After way too much downtime, we made some solid progress today, and the forums seem to be working again on a surface level. I would advise that everyone hold off on posting for the time being though, as I have noticed some odd behavior such as posts being made multiple times and there are likely some other issues that we haven't noticed yet. We are still actively troubleshooting some other issues like the template error, and will provide another update when we have more to share.View the full article

  25. http://www.bzpower.info/Imaging/thumbs/2022/03/fp_60350_Moonbase_2022_CF-055.jpg Is there life on the moon? That's the question the next series of LEGO City sets ask—in space! That's right, LEGO City is going to space again, this year their sights are set on the moon. Today we review the Lunar Reserach Base, one of the larger sets and available on March 1 with the rest of the collection. Does the set inspire a future of space travel, or does it fail to launch? Read, and watch, on to find out. View the full article
