  1. Ymper, Basilisk, we've been discovered! Scitus is actually Yolo Swaggles. Yoda's long-lost evil twin brother.Lavama, please, feel free to do them. EDIT: Ilyusha - What Ymper said. :3

  2. Sure it says. Sadly, the whole BBY/ABY system has been shot. We're roughly around New Hope in time.

It is an era of conflict and strife in the Galaxy. Agents of the CONFEDERACY OF INDEPENDENT SYSTEMS continue to strike at the clone armies of the GALACTIC REPUBLIC and at the ranks of the JEDI ORDER. The CLONE WARS have raged on for over twenty years and though the Confederacy has been forced to abandon many of its holdings within the galaxy, their hidden bases continue to elude discovery by the forces of the Republic. GRANDMASTER WINDU is certain that the war has entered its final years. The forces of the DARTH SCITUS and GENERAL GRIEVOUS have been reduced in recent years, as some of the last Confederate strongholds fall.

  3. The general concerns I have relate to his power. His mastery of three lightsaber forms, and proficiency with the other four is concerning. He also seems to be an expert in almost every permutation of Force abilities (with the exception of prophecy). Paring away a few Force skills and lightsaber knowledge would be beneficial.

  4. No, see, I just meant current actions in the RPG, not what they're like as an order. I was just getting ready to make a new profile, which I should be posting up here in a little bit.

On a micro-level, a few apprentices and lords are on Lehon, hunting Jedi. As an Order, the Sith have largely been quiet in recent months. There are at least two large Jedi fleets dedicated to hunting the Renaissance. On-ship, there hasn't been too much going on in particular (due to seven of nine Sith PCs being on Lehon). If you need a Staff post for a Sith character on the Renaissance, let us know. :)

@Zehvor - I'm assuming Basilisk will find some explanation for it.

  5. Basically, the Scitus' Sith Order is one which focuses on individual self-improvement, harnessing emotions rather than letting them steer you (or rejecting them outright like the Jedi), unity and whatnot. I wouldn't call the Sith anti-heroes, but they're certainly not evil sociopaths bent on murderkillslaughtering everyone they meet.

Well, basically, this Sith Order has a more positive spin on the whole "emotions" thing. The focus isn't solely on anger and such as. They don't make people fight to the death to advance, actively screwing over another Sith is a good way to get [barred from advancing] out...basically, the Sith, but not cartoonishly evil and with some goals that could be considered good.

Basically, it's more Darth Vectivus, much less Darth Sidious. They are still kind of engaged in a war, because, well, there's a group out there that honestly believes that all Sith should die screaming, and that group controls the Republic right now.

Just being a Sith doesn't make you evil. This Sith Order is much more...decent then the ones that came before. The focus on "love" mentioned in their profile should be evidence of that.

  6. Yup! That's about it for Coruscant.

Lord - Would you like the Grey Lady's crew to get a call from their favourite little Sullustan friend, or are things going fine right now?

  7. Dibs being Curly! ;)

@Doctor - Was reviewing profiles, and I noticed that you never edited out Force Lightning from your clone's list of abilities.

  8. That is the most xenophobic thing I have read since leaving a certain mutant-based RPG. Skekfish. They are always on-topic. Anywho... I'm out for most of the night. Is there anything that I need to get to before leaving (besides the Edge)?

EDIT: Hey Ymper!! :D CIS... Man, that is a good question. The E-5 is definitely out. Its barrel overheats like a beach.

  9. He's renting them at a very good price from the Nightsisters. Or at least, that's what I was told when I first asked. Dang... Basilisk, why did you have to involve the Star Vampires?

  10. IC (Carawyn Jade): Carawyn watched Vroon tear into an enemy speeder like a rancor cracking open a nest of wamp rats. Seconds later, a laser from one of the enemy fighters blew apart Vroon's old speeder, bits of hot glass and metal showering the immediate surroundings. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see Nentir's freighter tumble away, apparently overwhelmed by the criminals' sudden air support. The gang's counterattack had upgraded them from audacious burglars to outright vandals and killers. The Padawan took in the view from his light speeder bike. Scorchmarks peppered the buildings, while fire lapped up jagged chunks of duracrete. The stench of smoke, and, no doubt about it, deep-fried Quarren. That second scent wasn't too unpleasant actually. Reminiscent of calamari squid actually.

The Zeltron Padawan wrinkled his nose and felt for his blaster. The snub-nosed customized ELG-3A was only effective for short range use. His lightsaber wouldn't be of much help either. Flitting about on the Flitknot didn't give him much of a base to attack or defend from. The Flitknot. Of course. It had a light repeating blaster. Not much. But it would have to do. The Padawan revved the engines and sped away from the scene of the clash, disappearing amongst the trees and the traffic for a moment before shooting out from below, weaving erratically and firing his speeder bike's weapon at the "keel" of one of the bandit speeders.
