I really like the the different colored eyes and the swirls. They make it seem kind of dreamy or otherworldly.

Congrats, guys.

IC: CarraigCarraig followed the Matoran to the door of the Inn, followed by Cantai and Sumiki.
-
IC: Carraig"If the Inn is nearby, we'll come. If not, we'll find our own way to the Hospital."
-
IC: Carraig"I don't know. If the inn's nearby, we might as well ask there, but there's no point traveling all over the Koro to just get sent somewhere else."
-
IC: Carraig - Continued from here"Naria, we need to get Sumiki here to a hospital." He glanced around. "Do you know anybody in the Koro? I suggest going to them and taking it easy for a while. And don't leave the Koro alone."

Happy birthday!

A very interesting start. I'm pretty intrigued as to why Qazror isn't very disturbed by the unnaturally fast plant growth.

You're not late, it's still the 8th.Happy belated birthday!
-
As of a few seconds ago, Sumiki has made his 10,000th post!

It's now the 8th in Sweden, so birthday wishes to VampireBohrok are go. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!
-
City of Wretches, because it gives a very very good reading experience.

It is without a doubt faster than serious hand drawn work. As I said - the characters are already made for you. You can copy over backgrounds as opposed to an artist redrawing it every panel.Sprites or not, it still take a while to make a comic, depending on it's quality. Unless you've MADE a sprite comic before, please don't go saying it's a fast way of making comics.
Uh, if you've noticed, most of the world's artists tend to draw things that already exist. You don't go up to an artist who's painted a portrait of somebody and go 'lol nice try bro, but you just copied someone else's face, minus points for not being original 'You can't compare an artist drawing something that exists to someone copying and pasting something he didn't make into panels over and over.I personally don't see much of a difference between sprites and hand drawn, cause the thing is what's been hand drawn here isn't completely original either, if you consider the mask designs.
They don't have an awful lot in common. Okay yes, sprites are art, but they're the sprite maker's art. The people who use the artist's art can't take a whole lot of credit. It's like 'yo hey guys, check out this comic, I made the text myself ' as opposed to 'yo hey guys, check out this comic, I drew everything myself'.I see it as a fairly two way street here. I think both styles have their own respects and their own strengths and weaknesses. They're both Bionicle comics, and have a lot in common. It's both artwork with a different way of displaying it.

Anyone who uses sprites can make a comic pretty fast, sure. But that's because they're using kits they didn't make - a lot of their work is done before they've even started. And I see a lot of sprite comics even use photographs as backgrounds, and I doubt the creators even took the photos themselves.People who want to create something original (AKA people who draw their work or whatever) have a lot more work to do, and if they want to do a full blown mystery, it's a fairly large undertaking. For stuff like that, a month isn't a huge amount of time.A month is a pretty long time to come up with a mystery, and most comic makers here can make the actual comic pretty fast.

IC: Carraig"So," Carraig said, looking at the Koro. "Who'll help us?"
-
It seemed like a Limerick to me.My song wasn't supposed to be rap...it was supposed to sound like an Irish folk song.
-
IC: Carraig"And someone who knows this Matoran."
-
IC: Carraig"I think I can see the entrance to the Koro from here. Let's get there before anything else happens."
-
I'm not a big fan of the new release time. 1PM EST is 6PM over here, so I've to wait all day. Plus, I'm not familiar with any ways of watching the episodes live online, so I have to wait for the ep to be uploaded somewhere.

Happy birthday!

Happy birthday, man.

IC: Carraig'Well,' He said, kneeling down beside the Matoran. 'How do you like that? She's unconscious. At least we're near the Koro.'IC-Naria:"No, no, he can't be back," Naria murmured to herself, fear suffusing her demeanor. She didn't even notice Carraig's comment, leaning heavily on her staff. She shook her head once, and fell over, not moving.

Nice work with the colors, particularly on the top of the mask. One thing that strikes me though is that below the eyes things seem two-dimensional. I'm not entirely sure why that is, but it's probably the perspective on the indents. I think the mouth area is fine. The eyes also look a bit off - I'd say they should be a bit closer together.
