  1. IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, Sinnoh "Tsk," Justin said under his breath. Plush reacted quickly and set up a Trick Room, but not before the Squirtle pummeled into her. "Psychic!" Justin commanded. OOC: Man, gotta fix my profile post. :<
  2. OOC: Sorry, school's been pounding away the last few days. :< IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, Sinnoh "Thanks," Justin responded. "Man, how long has it been...? Almost three years now, I think. Now, time to capitalize on that sleep. Plush, tag in with Nightmare, quick!" He recalled his Swampert and sent out his Munna again, hoping to get a Nightmare in before the Squirtle woke up.
  3. IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, Sinnoh"Heh," Justin said, crossing his arms. The electricity surged through the water and reached Clay, but the Swampert shook it away like nothing. "Takes no damage from Electric attacks. But the Quick Attack..."The Pikachu slammed into Clay, throwing him off balance and sliding through the mud, several feet back. "Tsk," Justin said. "The ground is too weak for another Earthquake... Blizzard!"
  4. You know what else doesn't need speed?Gyro ball users.Which is why I really want a 0 speed, so the speed is as low as possible. Also just so that no one will ever outslow my Aegislash. The slower, the better. They need to attack before I do, so defense form takes the brunt of the attack. Then, next turn, King's shield.Very irritating moveset to deal with. Well, I don't plan on running Gyro Ball, it's just a defensive Furfrou. =P If it's meant to wall, it doesn't need speed, right?Though, I've never understood the usefulness of King's Shield. Since it attacked last, it would stay in Attack Form while the opponent attacks, wouldn't it? Unless King's Shield goes first all the time. I don't know if it does. =P
  5. Generally, tanks don't need speed, right? I got lazy and settled for an imperfect 5 I, missing speed... =P Though the Instacheck extension is disappointing... Might not do any random online battles, then. Hopefully GF gets that patched. Also, congrats Dot, I'm incredibly jealous of your Kirlia. =PIf we're sharing friend codes again, mine is 1762-2682-8247.

    ALL THE POKEMON

More code sharing! Mine is 1762-2682-8247
  7. IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, SinnohAs the dust settled, both trainers saw that Clay was sunken into the ground. But it wasn't solid earth; it was mud. "Oh, nice!" Justin said. Clay took advantage of the state of the earth and used a Water Gun to turn it into mud, reducing the amount of damage he took. "Keep goin'!" Justin called.Clay answered with a nod and used Muddy Water, mainly aiming for the Pikachu but also with the intent of changing the ground into mud.
  8. It's actually instacheck, not Pokecheck. =P That was last gen. It's basically a program that lets you see everything about a Pokemon when you offer/trade. That's IVs/EVs, shiny value, trainer shiny value, egg moves, etc.
  9. IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, Sinnoh"Not bad," Justin said. "But you'll need to do better than that! Clay, end scout and Earthquake."The Swampert couldn't see his trainer, but he heard Justin just fine. He lowered his Protect and put his hands to the ground, sending shockwaves through the earth, destroying the area around him.

    Pokemon

Completed the Kalos Dex, as a part of a Living Dex project. First time I've completed a regional Dex ever. Now that that's done, I'm going on to breeding competitively viable Pokemon. Got two IV bred so far, 5/6 IV Phantump with Harvest and a 5IV breeding pair of Aron. Currently breeding for a 5IV female Froakie with Protean, it's a pain. Stupid gender ratio. >.> I did get a fully EV trained Starmie, probably with lackluster IVs, from the GTS though. Also caught a shiny Trevenant from a horde, one of my favorite shinies. =D Ohey I just bred a perfect 6IV male Froakie with Torrent.
  11. I just completed the Kalos Dex! =D Smaller part of a living Dex, too. First time I've completed any sort of Pokedex whatsoever, so I'm happy. =P
  12. IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, SinnohJustin cursed as Plush got doused in flames. "Let's keep you for the Squirtle," Justin said, recalling the Munna back into her Pokeball. He threw another Pokeball out, and a Swampert emerged. "Heh. Sorry kid," Justin chuckled."Clay," Justin called to his Swampert. "Scout."
  13. IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, SinnohPlush reacted quickly, widening her eyes and sending Hypnosis waves to the oncoming Squirtle.
  14. I was looking for a Sudowoodo and found a shiny Trevenant in a horde! =D3rd shiny so far. All random encounters, too.
  15. You could do it that way, yes. If you have access to a Ditto safari I recommend you catch one there, since all FS Pokemon are guaranteed 2 perfect IVs. But if you're using two Swinub with 3 different perfects, then yeah, you could Destiny knot one and probably Power Item the other to get your 5/6 perfect. You have a chance of inheriting all five imperfect IVs, though; the three imperfect from one and the two from the other.
  16. I used this and this to get my good Pokemon. Even if you have 5 IV parents, though, it might take a long time still. Also, Destiny Knot doesn't guarantee a pass of the IVs from the parent that's holding it; it only ensures that 5/6 IVs will be from both parents. So if you're using a parent with 3 perfect and one with no perfect, you have a chance to get no perfect IVs, even if you put the Knot on the parent with the perfect ones. The Power Items, on the other hand, ensure that the particular IV will be passed down from the parent that's holding it.
  17. OOC: Ah sorry, missed your last post. >.< IC - Justin Iredsi, Route 202, Sinnoh "Iron Head!" Justin commanded. Darkon brought up his arms to shield his face and lowered his head, strengthening his horn with Iron Head. The oncoming Squirtle rushed straight-on, but the impact was enough to stun the Pawniard and he fell to the ground. "Tsk," Justin said. "Good enough. Darkon, return." Justin recalled his Pawniard and threw a second Pokeball onto the field. A Munna emerged from the white light. "Sorry about this, I know you're not too keen on battles," Justin said.
  18. Hey, if you don't have any use for it, I'll take it. I'm going to hold onto it, I think, sorry. Trophy for me, and it might still have some use. Well there's always the Ability Capsule (if you have Frisk) and going for Rest + Natural Cure... LumRest w/ Harvest is probably better since it does not require you to switch out, though it takes up an item slot. If you are going for Sitrus + Harvest, then idk what to do... It's Natural Cure so it's not too bad. =P I was going with LumRest and Harvest, though. I got it, too. =) Time for more breeding, but at least I have good parents for two egg groups this time.
  19. Hatched my first perfect (6 IV) Pokemon today, Phantump. :3 Unfortunately it didn't have the correct ability and I was going for its hidden ability, so it was kinda useless. Plus it was female, so I can't exactly use her for breeding in the future, I think. =P But hey, I'll take it and keep it.
  20. Typically the hatchling isn't generated until the egg hatches, so in theory you can just keep resetting. The hatchling is generated right as you receive the egg, actually. At least, it was in Gen 5 and I don't think they changed it. I see you already got a few females though, so I guess this is trivial. =P Laverre City sells the vitamins, and I think you can also get them from the Battle Maison.
