It's been quite a while since I said anything on this, but the RPG is not forgotten. Gorgnak and I(and by that I mean Gorgnak) did some work recently on the areas, and we've gotten some space areas to go along with our planets.

    1. A pirate infested area, near Spherus Magna, like in those swooshes of purple cloud stuff.

    2. An asteroid field, preferably with Kanohi Dragons on the asteroids(and a space suit[notrly]).

    3. A Terna Blockade, outside Acrilos maybe.

Two Zehvor, Kpik(who is under HBBG's name) and Levacius, are participating in RPG Contest 18. Just thought I should randomly throw that out there without advertising.

Anyways, speaking of RPGs....expect something about that after this week.

So, after the tiebreaker polls, the second character(actually 3rd, but Nocturn & Gadunka counted as 1) is going to be...

(drumroll[not epic at all if you saw the polls])

    Skidak!

Everyone's favorite or 2nd favorite or 3rd favorite turtle in the story will make a return with his chainsaw. Also I have decided on a name for the story: "Almost There."

Story begins June 7. Haven't decided on a rotation of co-authors, will get around to that soon, but expect Brenmac to be last due to him having school not out yet.

Also, more info on the later summer story, Prologue, is coming soon.

And the summer of Zehvorness continues...

Mesonak is now making Zehvor comics, fresh off the success of his anniversary comic. So, if you are a Zehvor, and your name isn't on this list, then please make a sprite in Rayg(don't worry about which year you choose, then upload the image to Brickshelf or the likes and send the link to him. Again, this is for his new comics. Here's the list of people who have already given Meso their sprite.

List: Me, Sonu, Lev, Brenmac, MoC, TLhikan, Gorgnak, Blackout.

Firstly, all Zehvor go to Aftermath(p 14). It has some important info for everyone associated with the TBTTRAH series.

Secondly, all High Command members are now given the authority to take applications for a new Zehvor and to start the voting process. Please don't except everyone that requests though, as we're already kinda large as it is.

Thirdly, tomorrow is officially Moon Day! If the Earth gets a day, I think the Moon should too. It's a good moon. Never done anything bad for us. Even gives us tides so we can sail our boats. We should go back to the moon. Talk to the man on the moon. Eat the cheese that the moon's made of, or the paper, or whatever. Just...take tomorrow to celebrate the moon.

Project Nightmare is soon to be revealed.

With the beginning of Season 5 underway, I thought it was time we took a look back at The Bionicles Try To Run A House from seasons past.

Season 1 saw TBTTRAH beginning as an unknown comedy looking for some respect in a website that had lost interest in comedies altogether due to most of them being plain unfunny. It wasn't all that easy, and it took about 40 or so chapters before some started to take notice of it.

BZP's longest comedy kicked off it's mainly successful two year lifetime with the classic bank robbery that seemed to follow TBTTRAH for the rest of the first season and beyond. After robbing a bank in order to come up with the cash to pay for an electrical bill, TBTTRAH began to get a little violent. It kinda surprises me looking back at this that I actually wrote this. It reminds me of those commercials of the video game where the Miis killing each other with swords.

Another thing that became common in the series was taking over hotels. This trend was started in Chapter 9: The Hotel. This kicked off a 3 part series that would become the inspiration for countless other occurrences of the same thing in comedies based on TBTTRAH.

Towards the end of season 1, I began writing the first of several comedies continuing the TBTTRAH series, The Bionicles Try To Run A Nation. This series never really fit in with the TBTTRAH series itself, and was eventually qualified as non-canon material, even though it was insanely popular for the short time it was around.

Back in TBTTRAH, coffee first came into play with MT, my self MoC, entering the craziness, along with Mr. Matoro, the first guest star in TBTTRAH. Another central character that would be around for years to come was Omega Turtle, who was introduced when a giant coffee spill leaked into the ground and the Barraki decided to "mine" the coffee in Chapter 26: The Coffee Mines. That's where one of the first battle of two rivals exclusive to the series began: Omega Turtle vs. Meta Sboog, who was a MoC made by Avak and Nuparu gone wrong. Takadox, Tahu and Tahu Nuva barely escape the ensuing battle and leave the Coffee Mines in ruins. Omega eventually won the battle, and ended up winning every battle between the two since then.

Many GSs such as Inikalord and Iranu showed up. Perhaps the most important of them, Poptart, Toa of Pie entered the comedy, and then proceeded to use his ability to create things to bring the cast of a certain TV show to life. That didn't go well and a lot of them died, along with Kazi, who proceeded to kill himself yet again and somehow come back to life(again). Kazi was probably one of my favorite characters, just because of his tendency to keep coming back to life after dying in the weirdest ways possible.

After that, the action in the series seemed to die down for a while. Nocturn and Gadunka were the stars of this "dark age," with their fridge raiding. However, any story written by me isn't going to be left without action for long. Sonu(pictured above), found his way to the house and became one of the one of the most important characters in the series. Another odd vacation, this one to Spain(Chapter 66: El Bionicles en Espana) gave way to two of the most well known villains in the series: Syrux and 4 Mask. 4 Mask started off as a good guy, but ended up turning evil due to his obsession for coffee and his goal of "household domination."

The two new villains destructive properties were shown off in Chapter 75: The Mega Pie War. This started to set the stage of what would turn 4 Mask to one of the best known villains. But villains weren't the only ones around. Brenmac, another well known hero and the one who would eventually be the inspiration for the Zehvor's creation joined the party as a Toa of Everything, and God knows how many times he and Sonu would join forces to fight off whatever "evil" there might be in the house.

One of my best memories of the time was "TBTTRAH GS Waiting Room." The other GSs would write stories about the "waiting room", as I became notorious for forgetting GSs in chapters. I loved it, but sadly it was qualified as spam in the comedy and I had to shut it down. Still, one of the high points of writing a comedy for me. Plans were started to make a waiting room comedy, but it was never created, except by Inikalord, and it didn't last long.

Sonu's favorite "fad" of TBTTRAH was born around here, Tahu Nuva's beautiful glass window, was started in Chapter 84: The Mahri Carolers. I can't remember how many times I had this window smashed, but I can still remember Sonu laughing. Or, at least, posting that he was laughing.

This is when 4 Mask began to start doing what he was best known for. Attempting to take over the house. In Chapter 89: Attack of the Very Hyper Star Wars Minifigures, 4 Mask began to infuse others with coffee and make them his slaves. Another fad started in this time period, which was Tahu always getting the best of Brenmac, usually with a tazer. Probably the only person Brenmac couldn't beat, and the ways Tahu came out on top were always crazier than before.

Brenmac and Inikalord eventually cornered 4 Mask, but they teleported him away instead of killing him, and with the help of a Samus action figure, he managed to escape. Things started to get a little weird from there, mostly due to Poptart, as he would recreate famous people and send them to the house to annoy Tahu or to smash the TV. Meanwhile, 4 Mask began to plan to take over the house again. The worst incident of this was when Poptart animated the members of Rage Against the Machine, who were promptly eaten by Omega Turtle.

Season 1 ended with a bang when MT decided to hold a giant contest, having been elected "Santa" for that year, to see who would win a free Nintendo Wii. A whole lot of hype was built up until MT announced that the whole contest was a joke and that no one was getting a Nintendo Wii. (Chapter 100: The 100th Chapter). This started a huge "war" of sorts, which died down after a while, and ended season 1 on a note of peace and love with the Bionicles wishing for a happy Christmas. Which, of course, was not going to happen.

Up next: The Recap of Season 2, including the first Christmas at the house, with the appearance of the Rurics and the first fighting contest held by the Bionicles.

I made an MoC for Aterna MT. Take a look here.

The white light spikes that stick to his body would have been a little hard to do, so those were left out. Mesonak also plans to MoC this sometime.

Welcome to my Good Lord knows how many video game review, but the first one I've posted on BZPower since Halo 3 came out way back in 2007. I guess this may not really count as a video game review, since there are 3 video games involved and they're all ones that have come out before, but this needs to have one anyways.

    Presentation:

It's tin. It's tin! THE BOX IS TIN!!!!!! FINALLY METROID GETS ONE OF THESE. Anyways, the box is tin(did I mention that?) and it comes with a see through slip that goes over it to protect the...tiness...of the box. On the back of the slip it advertises it some more and shows some screenshots of the game. Very nice. The front of the tin box shows Samus aiming at something and the back is the Varia Suit combined with the Dark Suit. Sort of reminds me of the Hau-Krana combination advertisement back when the Bohrok were big news.

When you open it up, the CD will most likely not be the first thing to catch your eye. The instruction manual, showing Samus' gunship from Corruption, is basically 3 manuals in one, making it one of the biggest I have ever seen. The manual does a good job of explaining what everything does, although it does contain some spoilers, so I highly suggest NOT reading the section for a certain game if you haven't played that game yet.

There is also a art...pamphlet thingy...on the inside containing some beautiful artwork. I wish it had been a bit bigger, but, hey, there's plenty to be bought with the credits in the game. There are also a couple advertisements behind that but no one cares about that.

Oh, and did I mention that a game comes with this too? The CD has the same picture as the front of the box, so nothing new there. On to the game itself!

    First look:

Of course Prime and Echoes are just remakes of old games, but they have been substantially improved graphically, and this is most apparent in the Meta Ridley fight in Prime. Either he's had a facelift or he's wearing a Halloween mask, because his face looks about 10 times scarier.

The visor point-and-select system has returned, and it has been implemented for the beam systems as well. Honestly, I think that the Wii remote-nunchuk system is actually a lot more fun for the other games, considering that you have super missiles(dang I missed those things), changeable beam systems, and the rest of the charge combos that seemed to suddenly vanish in Corruption. The difficulty for Echoes has also been toned down a bit, so if you got stuck on Echoes when you played it on the Gamecube, it'll be a bit easier now. Which means I had lots of fun taking out years of frustration on the Boost Guardian, since I've never been able to beat him on my first try on hard mode whenever I go through the game on that on the Gamecube.

The multiplayer from Metroid Prime 2 reappears as well, and it can get really, really annoying trying to keep your Wii reticule in the top half of the screen(I can only imagine what it must be like with 3 or 4 players). The multiplayer really hasn't been improved a whole lot, and Metroid still has a ways to go in that category.

Now for the stuff that returns from Corruption. First off is the Spring Ball(once you get bombs), which helps a whole lot, since the plant bombs and wait for the ball to jump seems obsolete compared to the swing the Wii remote and jump Spring Ball.

The credit system has returned, and they've...um...redone it a bit(purple credits FTW). The screenshot tool and the Fusion Suit options return, although the Fusion Suit is only for Prime, but sadly, the option to play the original Metroid is nowhere to be found. Not like I could use it anyway since my Wii isn't hooked up to the internet, but if you have it, it's still usable. The gunship stickers and Mii bobbleheads return, but they can only be used for Corruption.

One final question before we actually look at the gameplay: How the heck did they manage to fit all this into one disc?

    Gameplay:

Playing the game is, well, pretty much like playing the other games with the Corruption controls. The Wii controls make this a million times more fun. The controls help out a whole lot on bosses such as the Omega Pirate or the Boost Guardian, where they have minions trying to hurt you as well. As I said before, the graphics from Prime and Echoes are improved, and overall it's 80+ hours of some of the best games ever (rated 9.8, 9.5, and 9.5 respectively by [You may not mention sites which have forums. -Shine]), so I strongly recommend this for anyone who likes adventure games, such as Zelda, or even for people who have the 3 Primes already.

    Rating:

Quite honestly, Metroid Prime Trilogy is lacking in no way. One big thing is that for each problem that one game has (Metroid Prime 3 is too short IMO) another game corrects it(Metroid Prime 2 is one of the longest I have seen). The gameplay is seamless, the story captivating, and each game brings something new to the table. For that, it earns my first ever 10/10, regardless of the fact that it isn't a "new" video game.

Day 4: Started off early today, headed out with family and I thought Mata Nui(but it turns out I had left him back at our friend's house, no worries, we were going back there after the short 2 day mini vacation to Colorado Springs).

Stronius came along instead, though he didn't get any pictures taken. The only real attraction we went to was "Focus on the Family," where I got this awesome T-Shirt and an awesome milk shake....and a pretty cool tour as well, although most of it was scaled down for kids a little under my age, so I wasn't really able to appreciate a lot of it.

After that we went to a hotel and took advantage of a Taco Bell offer(if the Rockies score 7 runs in a game you can go in the next day, buy any size drink and get 4 free tacos). My mom and little brother ended up not eating all of theirs, so I am now absolutely sick of tacos. (Meaning I'm not that disappointed that the Angels are crushing Colorado right now).

Didn't do much at the hotel besides watch game two of the CWS(Texas won 5-1 to even things up with LSU 1-1) and complain about the bed that had all the comfortableness(yes, that is a word) of a rock. Got to sleep about 3 in the morning, but God created hotel coffee machines for a reason.

Day 5: Woke up, ate breakfast, and got out WAAAAAAAYYYYY too early, especially since I got to sleep really late last night...er...early morning. Went to see the "Garden of the Gods," (which I'm told is really fun if you get to drive by and see them, but I can tell you from personal experience, it's NOT fun if you have to walk in the sun. Really overrated in my opinion. The Continental Divide owned this place. Maybe geology just isn't my thing.

After that, we went to lunch at a really weird place with a very disturbing image on the wall and some overrated hamburgers(maybe it's not geology's fault, it might be Colorado Springs isn't my thing). Saw the U.S. play soccer. The only time I'll watch soccer is when the U.S. is on, (representing my country) and I got to see them upset Spain(at least, the first part of it). Apparently, Spain had something going for them, like a 15 game winning streak or something.

For the last hour or something in Colorado Springs, we....tried to decide what to do and then got annoyed with the place and went home(guess I'm not the only one who doesn't like C. Springs). We got back to Boulder just in time to go to a picnic(oh no), which we arrived at just in time for the thunderstorm, which pretty much ruined any chance of playing outside except for an exciting game of "3 man baseball on a tennis court." And that got ruined when some people wanted to play tennis.

Got back to the house in time to see LSU defeat Texas in the final 3rd game of the CWS and win their 6th national championship. I was especially happy for Mikie Mahtook(forgive me if I spelled his name wrong) who won a championship for his father who died when Mikie was 4 years old.

That's it....for now. Got Thursday, Friday, and then leaving on Saturday...and I'm ready for things to get back to normal.

(There is a possibility of going to a huge water park tomorrow...so I'm definitely looking forward to that...has to be better than whatever my parents were planning)

The Indianapolis Colts' foreign scout flies to Baghdad to watch a young Iraqi play American Football in the new American sponsored league, and is suitably impressed and arranges for him to come over to the US.

The Colts' GM signs him to a one year contract and the kid joins the team for the season.

In the first game of the NFL season the Colts are down 34-20 to the Panthers with only 5 minutes left. Jim Caldwell gives the young Iraqi the nod and he goes in. The kid is a sensation - scores 3 touchdowns, one in overtime, and wins the game for the Colts! The fans are delighted, the players and coaches are delighted, and the media love the new star.

When the player comes off the field he phones his mom to tell her about his first day of NFL Football. "Hello mom, guess what?" he says in an Iraqi accent. " I played for 10 minutes today, we were down 14 points, but I scored 3 touchdowns and we won the game in overtime! Everybody loves me, the fans, the media, they all love me."

"Wonderful," says his mom, "Let me tell you about my day. Your father got shot in the street and robbed, your sister and I were ambushed, beaten, and left for dead, and your brother has joined a gang of looters, and all while you were having such a great time."

The young Iraqi is very upset. "What can I say mom, but I'm so sorry."

"Sorry? You're Sorry?!" says his mom, "It's your fault we moved to Indianapolis in the first place!"
