  1. ...Crystal Skulls! I got to see the movie friday. Suggestions: The Giant ant part is scary. cover young ones' eyes. I noticed that the alien looked suspiciously like an Asgard from Stargate SG-1. Anyone else think so?
  2. My good friend Rayce came to spend the night. Around here it can get pretty warm. Last night I beat him at Chess, Checkers, and battleship. Then he beat me twice at pool today! Sheesh!
  3. The Strut Stride and Straddle (SSS) is a set of activities in my home town. It includes: 1 mile walk, 4 mile walk, 6 mile jog, 13 mile bike. I did the 4 mile with mom, and Jalina... well, she'll tell you.

    Road Trip!

...so I am guessing you live near Salmon, Idaho. I'll tell mom and dad.
  5. The Sumpter Valley Railway. Based in Oregon. Known as "the Stump Dodger." The SVRY was founded in 1890, in Baker City, Oregon. It was a combination lumber line and livestock line...try saying that five times fast. As the years went by, the railroad expanded to the west. At its best it went to Prarie city, 13 miles from my home! As the name says, it went through the Sumpter Valley, and to Sumpter, Oregon. The the line began to fail. Profits went down, and portions of the line were abandoned. In 1947, when the railway officially closed, it only owned a small diesel and 1.5 miles of track! In the late 1900's, volunteers began the Sumpter Valley Railroad Restoration Group. It has currently restored 5.5 miles of track, rolling stock, a Heisler loco, and a 2-8-2 Mikado steam loco. It is still at work. So if your heading towards Sumpter, where the line is, stop by, and ride the Stump Dodger! Did i mention it is a narrow gauge line?
  6. ..Hi, Ho! The Rattlin' Bog!, per chance?

    Pop Quiz

This is a news report from KAJN. The debate between sodas, Pepsi and Coca Cola, came to a crashing halt when BZP member Kapurkar said that he preferred a Graveyard(multiple flavors combined) between Pepsi, Coke, Root Beer, and Sprite. This has been KAJN.

    Road Trip!

Since my family may moving to Salmon, we decided to tour the town. It has an awesome city park, a Subway, a Bed and Breakfast, and a small park in a river. The river spilts briefly then rejoins. The park is in that area. The town is named after the Salmon River, called, "the river of no return." The river flows north into a canyon where there are no roads. But the area is known best for that it is the birthplace of Sacajawea. See ya! P.S: HAPPY NATIONAL TRAIN DAY!
  11. Doc Hay and Lung On weren't the only ones to come to "Tiger Town" as the place was called. Many, perhaps more than 10 thousand, I don't know, Chinese came here during the Mid-Late 1800's. Want to know why? I'll tell you why. THERE'S GOLD IN THEM THAR HILLS! There was. And there still is. Not everyone who got rich here mined gold though!
  12. In 1888 I think it was, two Chinese men bought an old army military post. This became the Historic Kam Wah Chung & Co. Doc Hay was the most famous herbal doctor between San Fransisco and Seattle...I'm serious. He lived until 1948, and some of his herbs are still in the museum, the real Kam Wah Chung building. Lung On owned a general store, and when he died in 1940, he owned several rental properties, a few mines, and the first auto dealership in Eastern Oregon! I have been in the museum several times, so if you are passing through a small town in Eastern oregon, find it and visit it!
  13. Monday. kids go back to school, parents go back to work, and I go to the Train Barn. The Train Barn hosts two model railroads and has meetings on Mondays, and Operating sessions on the second Monday of the Month. Last time, nothing bad happened to me, an unusual surprise. oops... Well, Gotta go!
  14. Our town is a town in Eastern Oregon with about 1600 people. The pros of living in a small town? >>>>the smaller the town, the less likely are the chances of getting bombed. >>>>You know more of the people in the community >>>>You are probably a lot safer >>>>It probably has a lesser-known, yet still important historic site. In My case, Kam Wah Chung & Co. History to come. The Cons? <<<<You are not near a store that sells a lot of LEGO Bricks. But then, does anywhere?
  15. I'm Bored. There is not much to talk about. Oh wait, yes there is. But It must wait until May 10th. You may guess it though.
  16. Bad news: We did not adopt a dog. Good news: We got to play in the park! The dentist wasn't that bad.

  21. Today on the Redmond Dental Trip, I had a fortunate - I didn't have to worry about getting a filling. Then I saw a 7-diesel BNSF frieght while eating lunch! We went to Costco, and I saw two live birds flying around. Dad said they flew n but couldn't get out. We went to the Nearby Humane Society, but we couldn't find a dog we liked.
  22. Tomorrow is a creepy day. It's the 24th, annd I have a dentist appointment in Redmond. I'm going with a loose tooth. And I think that guy put in a filling without warning a few years ago. Enough said. Oh, and please check out my comedy, "Toa's Hope Hospital"
