    IC: (Pala-Koro)

Cylund could feel what remained of what once was his psyche knocking around in his head like a rabid dog as he marched, rather boldly, up to the entrance of Pala-Koro. His new allies had requested of him that he join the ILF, and so he would do.

When the guards at the entrance questioned him as to why he had arrived, he merely said, "I'd like to sign up."

    (Pala Koro) I.C. Vompran

    Vompran walked over to Cylund.

"If you'd like to join, you must first talk to one of the deputies. I am one of them." The one-armed toa of plantlife was glad to see that the ILF was still getting recruits even after Makuta's death.

    IC: (Cylund, Pala-Koro)

Cylund nodded, and then waited a few seconds. After seeing no reaction, he awkwardly smiled. "Oops. Sorry. I guess I should introduce myself. Well, my name is Cylund, and as you can probably deduce, I am a Toa of Plasma. I would like to, er, sign up to this fine organization. Any questions you ask me, I will gladly answer."

  3. People, people, people, let me just nitpick about one thing.

"I doubt that", "I can't imagine", etc. are not arguments, despite some among you consistently using them as such. An argument would be something you attach to a "because" afterward. Eg. "I don't think that it's Metru Nui, because the staff wouldn't do something so simple" is a reasoned statement. "I doubt that it's Metru Nui" isn't. Frankly speaking, nobody really cares what you doubt unless you provide reasons for such a doubt. No offense.

Also, people, Geardirector is right, you should listen to him.

  4. IC: (Arianna, Highwind Household)

"Want something to eat?" Arianna asked her son, emerging from the kitchen with a bowlful of salad with feta cheese. Since the dawn of time, what our world would know as Greek salad was largely accepted as currency in the Highwind clan and an inclination towards it was passed down from father to son. Mind you, Perkahn hated it, but nevertheless, Arianna, always a fan of anything with feta cheese, thought, when she was first taught by Perkahn's mother to make it, that this was a tradition she didn't have trouble adapting to, because, hey, this salad was great, especially with shrimps and toast. Mmmm.

    (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

The Toa of Iron took one last gulp of his drink, finishing it off entirely and stood. He gave a friendly nod to everyone surrounding him, indicating his intention to leave.

"I think I'll be going, while I'm still sober. Grochi, I'll drop by Jaller's, I mean the Akiri's, place; talk to him about your trouble with the guards at the front gate. See you around, later."

With that, Perkahn removed himself from the vicinity and from the Lavapool Inn, setting the good old guard headquarters in his sights. Fortunately for him, it was precisely on the way back home; as such, he found it rather easy and convenient to just drop into the place and approach the guard by the door.

"I'd like to speak to the Akiri, please."

  5. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

    "Best head home, mate."

Overhearing, from Brekan's corner of the table, her loudly proclaiming her profession, he raised an eyebrow, curious. "Really. Never thought there was treasure to hunt in Ta-Koro in the first place."

  6. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

It happens quite often when Perkahn's drunk, and even more often when he's not, and nigh always when he's neither sober nor drunk, that an overwhelming need to be helpful overtakes him. He placed a hand on Stronin's shoulder in a supportive manner, and nodded meaninglessly.

"If you want to look for her, I'll try to help you in any way I can."

  7. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

"Sure. Drop by anytime, we'll sort something out."

He realized he wasn't reading much lately. Much more often he found himself out in the forest, hunting, talking to Arianna or to Jolek, drinking, doing things with Arianna, etc. Not actually reading much.

  8. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

"Tehric Ciaran is something that I'm pretty sure only my generation, besides you, ever reads. Makes sense too, because he's just down the street from me."

The Toa of Iron's arm suddenly extended, snatching the last shot of alcohol from his younger counterpart right as he intended to pick it up. "You've had enough."

  9. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

Perkahn's eyes flipped, in a state of what wasn't quite drunkenness but definitely wasn't soberity either, to Stronin.

"You read Tehric Ciaran's books? Really?"

  10. IC(Liacada-Lavapool)

"Come on, grouchi, cut loose for a bit." She took another drink. Laying one arm across the counter, she leaned back, facing her two newfound allies.

    IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

Perkahn's face snapped at this textbook example of a terrible pun.

    "Never. Never, never, never again."

IC: Hm. Must still be out...

Jolek entered the home quietly, taking a seat at the table to rest his aching legs. If nothing else, he'd gotten a good workout.

    (Arianna, Highwind place)

Shortly after, a voice resonated from the kitchen, where Arianna was in the middle of the creation of another wonderful example of what our world would know as a Greek salad. "Jolek? You home?"

  11. IC: (Perkahn, Ta-Koro)

The Toa of Iron sighed, disappointment written in large letters on his face - and a glint of approval when it comes to Grochi. "Good work. I've got to say, friend, I am honestly disappointed with the city guard lately. It's like we're living in a police state; the guard being extra mistrustful of you every time you roll around despite your part in the battle, and now this."

He wasn't quite scowling, but it was something close. This city was becoming something... really perverse, really mutated lately, as if it took all the worst qualities it had and enshrined them in law. Akiri Jaller, who you'd expect to be rather close to the people, was really rather distant and rarely properly communicated with them nowadays.

Of course, Jaller had a lot of work, but Perkahn was seriously considering dropping by the Akiri's place to complain. Just for a few hours.

Not now, however. Now there were more important things to do. Perkahn took a good, long glance at Brekan. She seemed to be in a bit of a lot of a shock.

"Hey," Perkahn asked her, kindly, "how do you feel? Stupid question, I know, it's obvious you don't feel that good. Drink a bit of the Salamander's - it'll wear a bit of the shock right off."

  12. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

There are some things that you are extremely unlikely to see in your lifetime. One of them - an extremely, extremely, extremely unlikely thing to see - is Grochi walking, Karz, rushing into an inn with a woman in his arms. A distinctly, distinctly rare event that Perkahn was utterly and piercingly surprised to see.

He also wasn't surprised enough not to identify the symptoms of this disease. Clearly, the woman needed a drink. He waved his friend over to the corner where he and Stronin were based, and gestured to the good large bottle of Salamander's at the table.

  13. I have no idea, tbh.

I want to be a writer, but I am pretty sure I can't earn enough for what I write to survive on it.

I want to and I will study politics, but I'm not sure if I want to be a politician. It's more likely I'll be a political scientist.

What I will actually work as I have no idea and I'm not too bothered about it right now.

  14. IC: (Perkahn, Lavapool Inn)

Spotting Stronin, Perkahn picked up his drink and headed right to the seemingly upset Toa. They didn't talk that much, but had gotten to know each other a bit during the battle for Ta-Koro and following months.

"Hey, Stronin. How's life with you? You seem a bit down."

  15. I have a plot with Makuta Almanax that requires RPing from Hahli. I couldn't find Tyler Durden's profile although I tried everything. He's supposed to play as Hahli, right, so I should PM him? How can I find the guy?

He is currently known as Dallas Winston.
