I vaguely recall being a set like this being teased. Actually, all I remember is that said set contained new minifig designs, red 2x4 bricks, and something with wheels. I don't see any red 2x4 bricks, but everything else checks out. I dunno.

well i've got bad news

according to the mixels website (which i can't link to because i can only view it in mobile), both shuff and seismo are referred to with male pronouns

which kinda stinks because the concept of mixels having better gender ratios than bonkles was kinda growing on me

 

yeah but the sets are the only good part of Mixels (well, them and their combiners) so id say we have reason enough to buck the reins of "canon" and make these rad little buds whatever we want

i guess these things grow on you when you've dealt with about fourteen years of lego lines with butchered stories

Well, it was fun owning the Evo Walker and Jaw Beast vs. Stormer before most people in North America while it lasted... by which I mean for about a week.

Yes, it comes off...it is just a container cap identical to the ones that were on the first bionicle capsules, but with a little screw to hold it in position. Anyway, if it was for promoting bionicles why did they put onua's mask on it??? I mean, when I was a child, I would have given my life for tahu's mask, not onua's...

Onua was promoted a bit more than Tahu back when BIONICLE first started. He had a bigger image than the rest of the Toa on the flyers that came with other LEGO sets in 2001, and I recall a few Wal-Mart store displays where Onua was the only Toa on the sign. I don't know exactly why they promoted him out of the other Toa, given how little story relevance he had later on and how he was pretty much no one's favorite Toa (except mine), but the point is Onua was kind of the bonkles poster boy back in the day.
