  1. We could put all our money together, buy a used car, and give it to someone who needs it! *silence* OR...we could destroy it for fun! ....still no? (I watch way too much World's Dumbest.) I could finally start writing my 22 Godzilla movie reviews that I wanted to start last month... -Zehvor Brenmac
  2. @KanohiMiru:I know, but I gave into it too, soooo.... -Zehvor Brenmac
  3. Since we're on the topic of plagarism, I'll add in my two cents: If MT is plagarizing by taking ideas from other sources while adding his own, then George Lucas did the same thing when he first made Star Wars back in in 1977. A couple of examples would be when the Luke and Han disguise themselves as Stormtroopers or that Obi-Wan disappeared when he died. Similar things happened decades earlier in the Wizard of Oz when the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, and the Cowardly Lion disguise themselves as the Witch's soldiers and that the Wicked witch also disappeared when she died. Oh yeah, and Star Wars had Elemental themed planets too such as Hoth (ice), Mustafar (fire), and Endor (forest). Did George Lucas "rip off" Darkspace back in 1980, 2005, and 1983? -Zehvor Brenmac
  4. Let's see what I can come up with. Waun ("Wind Demons")-Beings that are also incredibly hard to kill because they are made up of the air itself (They do, however have a solid physical form but because they can go from solid to intangible in a flash, one has only a few seconds (or even milliseconds) to hit one). Have complete control over the element of Air and can cause a Toa of Air's Elemental Powers to go haywire. Can create gusts of wind or vacuums and can merge together to for form one huge Waun, a hurricane, or even a giant windstorm. -Zehvor Brenmac
  5. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to draw. It will most likely be a map of Valderra's surface, I just need to know where things such as villages are. (Or is that up to me?) I'm also working on two projects for the summer, the Me and My Bionicles continuation I've already told you about, The Bionicle Stories (I'm also writing chapters before I post them, still working on Chapter 4.) and a less action-based story taking place in Metru Nui. -Zehvor Brenmac
  6. I want to help with Character Design and Cartography! -Zehvor Brenmac

  9. Again, no problem. I'm still looking for some good pictures of the Mogwai in Almost There. -Zehvor Brenmac
  10. Click it again. You must have clicked it when I was fixing the link. -Zehvor Brenmac
  11. I'm surprised to be the first one to publish my entry. Ah well, sorry if it's a bit hart to make out though. With no further ado, I present to you... The Alpha Helios Turtle! Comments? -Zehvor Brenmac
  12. Happy Birthday Neelh, it's my father's birthday too. (And it's father's day, how do you guys not know that?) -Zehvor Brenmac EDIT: Kpik, really? Downsize your huge banner before it gets removed!
  13. Yes, I have a lot of free time on my hands. (Try two months!) I don't know what you mean by "blowing up cites" though. No problem. It could be tried, as it would be interesting to have a Gremlin as an ally. -Zehvor Brenmac
  14. As it seems a few of the Zehvor wanted to know more about the Mogwai species after I first introduced mine, I will continue to explain them. The Mogwai were originally created to be ambassadors on other planets. Mogturmen, the creator of the Mogwai, made a series of genetic miscalculations and fewer than one in a thousand came out with the charitable aims built into them. These miscalculations also resulted in their aversion to light and inability to communicate with species other than their own. As said before, the Majority of the Mogwai are best described by the word evil. A Gremlin at heart, a Majority will stop at nothing to pull a few hijinks, become more powerful in the form of a Gremlin, and have a good laugh afterwards. The Minority are gentle and charitable, wish no one any ill, and only want to be loved and cared for responsibly. They will also try to keep less knowledgeable species out of trouble with the Gremlins and are the most wonderful creatures to have for pets, if one abides by the three rules. As also said before, the Minority are eternal for all intents and purposes. If a Minority ate after midnight and became a Gremlin, it would become of the Majority and a typical Gremlin and lose its longevity. There are only three Minority Mogwai (other than Gizmo) on earth, hinting that they were once plentiful. One strange thing about these creatures is the fact that they cannot kill each other. Any hostile thoughts towards another Mogwai are quickly eradicated before the Mogwai can make sense of them. A Mogwai can hate the other all it wishes, but it cannot lay a hostile hand on it or even wish it harm. This extends to Gremlins as well. (Though in the first film Stripe shoots a Gremlin that was cheating at poker and in the second film the Brain Gremlin shoots a gremlin that was annoying him. As these two are higher-thinking Gremlins, they are able to believe that, I am not killing it, the bullet is actually killing it.) As Mogturmen wanted his creations to be distributed to all worlds, Mogwai are able to adapt to any location with the obvious exceptions such as dead space. Mogwai are also far more intelligent than humans (as they have gain a lot of knowledge over the centuries) and can entertain themselves for hours just by daydreaming. I'll stop here for now and add more if I get any questions. Also, Kpik has asked me if it is possible to tame a Mogwai. Assuming he means the Majority, it may very well be possible as the opposite was done with Earl (a nice Mogwai that was somewhat like Gizmo) when he became mean due to blood tests done on him and lack of love and attention given to him. (It is also implied that the first batch tricked Billy into feeding them after midnight because they were not given nearly the amount of attention Gizzmo was.) Anyways here are the Mogwai that have appeared in Almost There so far: Gizmo Mohawk Lenny and George Daffy Ask me any questions about the Mogwai/Gremlins you may have and I'll be happy to answer them. -Zehvor Brenmac
  15. Even if they do have huge followings, some of those games will still sell better than others because if these are completely new games, some will really sell and others really won't. After they are released, Nintendo will know which ones gamers like and which ones they don't, and also know which ones to expand on and which ones to leave behind. I know Mario isn't ending anytime soon, but that only because he is a known name. Tell me, if Mario wasn't as well known as he is, would his games sell as well? No, they wouldn't. He sells only because he is a well known icon and a constant source of money for Nintendo. Also, if you consider "innovating" so easy and repetitive that someone could beat the game in an hour or so(at least according to MT), what do you consider the opposite? To me, innovating is improving on while at the same time adding something new. And it seems that Mario isn't being innovated or improved on at all while almost nothing new has been provided. This. To me, each new Mario game that comes out isn't as or more challenging than the one(s) that proceeded it. While games are supposed to be fun, it all depends on what our definition of "fun" is. I must admit though, all the while I've been participating this discussion I've felt like somewhat of an outsider due to the fact I don't have half the gaming experience you two do. The closest I've been able to come to your levels is playing what two games I had on the GBA, and playing Godzilla Unleashed on the Wii at my best friend's house. I've also played games such as L.A. Rush at another friend's house, though I don't remember what console they were for. -Zehvor Brenmac
  16. Nintendo is paying to it's franchises. Plus they have 3rd party support. Let's see: DKC, Kirby, Goldeneye, Resident Evil, Super Street Fighter IV, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Metal Gear Sold 3, Driver, Shin Megami Tensei, Starfox, Mario Kart, Ridge Racer, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Super Monkeyball, Sonic, Assassin’s Creed, Saints Row, Kingdom Hearts, PES, Pilotwings, Conduit. Nintendo's own titles will be quite a bit and if they keep innovating they will keep selling. Mario is associated with Nintendo, and they know how to treat Mario. As for what games are preferred is personal choice. I'm not much of a fan of shooters. Personal taste there. Most of those games I've never heard of (though I guess it doesn't matter if one person has no knowledge of them.) nor seen any obvious expansion on. No commercials, no ads, nothing. I said that because I felt that Nintendo had to expand on a sort of "second most popular" game so they will know which really sell well, as no doubt some of those games sold better than others, so when the Mario game series eventually does end, they will know what to turn to next. Everything has its time, and Mario is no exception to that rule, no matter how popular he is. -Zehvor Brenmac
  17. In that case can I be the left arm? Anyways, now you will all know what my self-MOC truly looks like. Brenmac Mistika Well, there's mine. Looking forward to seeing everyone else's. -Zehvor Brenmac
  18. If this blog entry proves anything, it's that no company is perfect, and that Sony will definitely complete the trifecta. I agree though. Nintendo needs to give Metroid and their other franchises a chance instead of relying on an Italian plumber to make all their money. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even next year or within the next decade, but eventually Mario will lose his popularity and die out. If Nintendo doesn't expand on their other franchises soon and Mario meets his inevitable end, they will have nothing to fall back on. And I would much rather play Halo than a Mario game because I happen to find shooting games more enjoyable. (Though I guess calling Halo a "shooting game" would be rather stereotypical of me.) I also agree with the advertising thing. It doesn't matter to us how many Wiis you've sold Nintendo, it only matters to you. But the iPhone really is an overrated piece of crud. I recently learned they're releasing a third version of this thing. What's the fourth version going to be like? Will it turn into a robot and be my servant? Seriously though, you're selling something called the iPhone. Key word, iPhone. When I want a cell phone, I want a cell Phone. That's it. I just want to dial a number and call someone. I don't need to waste time, minutes, and energy texting, I don't need to access the Internet when I have a perfectly good (although rather slow) computer here at home. And pretty much all the other features are useless anyways, except maybe the camera. Also, didn't you say you were going to post a Mogwai/gremlin/Almost There discussion topic here? -Zehvor Brenmac
  19. I think your bracket is slightly off too. Locking Up The Sun(3) vs. Reelin' in the Years(0) Till All Are One(2) vs. Like a Boss(1) Switch vs. Evil Dog Round 2(3) vs. Don't Unplug Me(0) Indestructible(2) vs. Never Gonna Give You Up(2) Anyways, I made that prediction mainly because as a song, Never Gonna Give You Up is a nice song in my opinion. But as an attempt to be funny, it's just plain pathetic. Sure it was funny a few years ago, but at this point the joke has gotten really old and it's just annoying in my eyes. I didn't see it as a fitting song because the Zehvor aren't laughing at anyone, at this point we're trying to stomp out Xenon cores (and "Find out the cure for all" in Locking Up The Sun just happened to remind of that.). Which I why I suggested that song. To me, it represented what we as a team are trying to do. I didn't choose the song just because I liked it, I chose it because it reminded me of this team and it's current purpose. I'm not saying it should be our theme song just for that reason, I'm just explaining why I chose it. Oh yeah, and there's a certain word in Like A Boss that I don't think should belong in a song for any Toa Team! -Zehvor Brenmac
  20. To Gorgnak-My MOC of you ended up being red because...that's just how he ended up. Assassin-Yeah, no you. I didn't have the parts I wanted to use. (Well I do, I just used them elsewhere.) -Zehvor Brenmac
  21. Okay, I vote for Indestructible as well, as I wouldn't mind having that as our theme either. I also vote for Switch vs. Evil Dog Round 2 and Till All Are One (Though that song owes more to Transformers than it does to us). The other songs just don't represent the Zehvor very well in my opinion. -Zehvor Brenmac
  22. Obviously I'm going to vote for the song I suggested, Locking Up The Sun by Poets of the Fall. I also highly doubt that anyone would want that stupid RickRoll song as our theme. -Zehvor Brenmac
  23. Wow. It's the 8th longest comedy and #8 on the Hot Topics list. Ironic, but awesome. -Zehvor Brenmac
  24. I'm actually planning to get out of school Friday, if that helps, so I'll go second. -Zehvor Brenmac
