I'd be okay with that if it's "non-sprites" and not "non-digital." That way, it doesn't exclude vector art.Anyway, yeah, 2012 theme sounds pretty good. I can already feel ideas forming in my brain for that one.
I am in total, complete support of this idea. Limiting it to non-sprites would be the only restriction/theme of a contest with sprites out of the picture (no pun intended).Non-digital mediums only. It wouldn't please everyone, but it would promote non-sprite comics and be a change.

New comic!RWAM 14: ROBOT ROCKThe style of this alternate universe features my PowerPoint vectors and Venom's Acer KitROBOT ROCK was inspired by the Daft Punk song of the same name. He will probably become a recurring character in a later series. Also, although I did draw those backgrounds myself, the first two were copied (as in, I took a screenshot and drew the buildings in it) straight from scenes in 90's Cartoon Network shows. I came up with Robot Rock by myself for the most part, except I looked to Dexter's Laboratory for how exactly to draw robotic limbs and stuff.

Japan got RS in 2002, so it would make sense for them to get the remakes in 2012, since that's the anniversary for them. That's probably one of the games.

Haxoraktor's level is somewhat high (don't remember exactly, comes up in a later comic), and in fact, Politoed does appear in the wild in BW, it's just incredibly rare (Super Rod). I spent a lot of time looking for one, so I decided to include it here.Anyway, thanks to all of you!nope. It actually isn't too popular due to low speed and mono typing.Anyway, i also fail to beleive that one false swipe could fully weaken a pokemon, and politoed does not appeir in the wild. That aside, great comic! can't wait to see where this ends.

Look at it this way--if we've seen trailers of it, and gone this long without getting more news, they're probably working hard to make it really awesome. I mean, think about how Brawl was delayed several times--they're getting it so that it's just right; no need to rush this stuff. At least, that's what I hope; if it doesn't have a similar feel to TTYD then I'm not getting it.As for Flash, yeah, that's kind of annoying. They need some more apps to get around it.
*cough* Uh, Netflix much? And IIRC, Flash has been pretty much abandoned for mobile devices at this point...Also, am I the only one (besides Tav) who's mildly concerned about the lack of Paper Mario 3D news out of Nintendo...heck, at all? All we've gotten are a couple of (interesting) trailers, but hardly any news....Although Intelligent Systems also makes Fire Emblem, so that might be it.It must have been the memory because at one point nintendo said you would be able to watch ####### movies on it, but we see how that turned out!

Also--and this isn't absolutely necessary or anything--it would be nice if, when linking to a topic at the bottom of a page, mention it's in the archive if that's the case. Again, only a suggestion; it'll just be a warning so people are aware that they'll be logged out if they open that in the same browser. I've clicked on links to the archive without checking first, and it can be a little annoying.

I'm thinking that the RS remakes will come before Gray. Remakes have happened on the tenth anniversaries, RS came out in 2003, so if that's going to happen (and I'm pretty sure it will if they've done it twice, though there are a few things different about GenIII that could change that) it's going to happen in 2013. And there hasn't been any news of Gray, so I doubt it's coming out this year. Usually it takes about six months after the Japanese release to come out in the rest of the world, and usually before it's in Japan there's media of it, and before that we get bigger hints than what we have now. Therefore, I'm thinking 2014, since they probably won't release both in 2013. Also, it would make sense that both would be on the 3DS; doing it for a system that's been outdated for 2-3 years doesn't seem like something they'd do--besides, GenV goes with the 3DS anyway, at least in my mind; they've changed systems every generation and I thought almost up until its release that BW was for the 3DS.

New comic!Disregard Forums Acquire Pokemans part 6: How to Catch a PokemonHaxoraktor is the nickname for my Haxorus, which isn't part of my team anymore; I used it as my Pokemon-catching slave. No idea where the name came from; it just popped into my head.

I think my mom wanted to get me a game; she asked me if there were any I wanted and I told her that the ones I want (which would be the new Paper Mario, the new SSB, the Pokemon Sapphire remake, and Pokemon Gray) haven't even had their release dates announced.

(link)This is a wiki, obviously, for all of the comics in this forum (and the archive, of course). No matter how new your comics are (hey, mine were only a few months old when I founded this wiki), you can still write articles about them if you've posted them on BZPower (provided you follow the rules of course). And there's always stuff to add on other people's comics too.Now at a new location! We've also moved the database, so you need not worry about losing things (unless you keep editing on the old wiki). However, since we're off Wikia, you can't use your account from there if you have one, so you need to make a new one. Also, let's give a big hand to Ziko for making all of this happen (and I mean all--I helped a tiny bit, but he did the vast majority of the work); he's the only one who does anything anymore. I'm promoting him to admin whether he wants it or not.And also thanks to Wind for allowing this topic to be created.StaffAdministratorsModeratorsAnd I can't seem to think of anything else to put here at the moment, so I guess that's it for now.

Happy birthday, Takuma!I remembered. Didn't so much as make you a fractal background with sprites on it or anything, but I remembered.(Seriously, I got on BZP to post in this topic that I knew would be here, and now I'm leaving.)

Yeah, I've noticed that a bit--there's also the fact that "Kanoka disk" translates to "disk disk," "Rahi beast" translates to "beast beast," and so on.The inconsistency is probably there because this is just a children's construction toyline; they didn't expect so much scrutiny.

After seeing Toy Story 3 for the first time, I'm going to come back in here and say that if How To Train Your Dragon was as good as that guy thinks it was, you'd have people trying to sell their children to get their hands eyes/ears on it. Haven't seen it, but I have high doubts that it can even get close to Toy Story 3. You've done well to reject such a crazy person.

@Invi: Nice; the Vahki didn't seem to fall apart too easily this time.@Venom: Awesome comic. I liked the spider-power fail, the ghosts, the prevention of certain people from being born, etc.@Alena: Nice song; I'd noticed the other day that "sleighing" could be replaced with "slaying." Also, really good for someone who doesn't usually make comics.

No, half the time I don't look to closely, and when I do, I'm all, "Hey, that's an avatar," and don't try to figure out what it is.

One time Antroz allowed a spider to lay some eggs on his face underneath his mask.

I went to McDonald's in 2001 with my dad, and got Kongu. I was already into Lego stuff, so I got really interested in Bionicle.
-
Kaukau, Huna, Komau, Mahiki, Matatu, and Rau, any color. So basically, just the ones I don't have any of at all.
-
Skrall, definitely; it had the top part at an angle. And Onua Mistika and Mata Nui had different armor, which I liked.
-
Well, I'd want to save my computer, and it'd be hard enough to carry that big thing around without having my fragile 2001 Kongu too...

I remember Bradon! :DAlso, I lol'd at Eljay spending a whole week playing Tetris, getting annoyed at it, and later on going back to play it some more.

Listened to the whole calendar thing last night. Thanks for all of the praise of my comic. I was so afraid I wouldn't finish it in time that I worked on it almost nonstop the week before Christmas. I got sixty panels done each of the last two days and stayed up until three the last night. That was probably why there wasn't much hype; worked on it too hard to give me a chance to hype it. Anyway, I'm just pleased at the reaction that came out of all those hours of work.I seem to be pretty good at making long comics for some reason, which I guess is kind of unfortunate because people don't always like to read them because of their length. That thing Kahi suggested about making them into animations would be really fun; I sort of gave up on Liveswif and Flash is way too expensive for me.Also Meso, as for why I put you in the comic, it was mostly because I was just making a reference to Eljay's and you're in his.Another thing--in Justax's comic, it didn't confuse me at all and I hadn't read the series. I had no idea that was the whole premise of the series, either, I just thought it was for the comic. And I don't know how you guys didn't get Chath's. Took me a few times, but eventually I realized it, and I haven't read his series either. (Link for convenience). So basically, there's this little kid who's trying to ask why there's no decorations, but he only gets the chance in the second panel in the first row. Also, the third column is about Garda's quest to find Santa--he captured the green dude and holds him hostage, which he tells Gavla about, and at the bottom, Garda's at the North Pole looking for Santa. Maybe you guys didn't see in the titlebox thing that there isn't a specific order to it, but basically these are mostly just an assortment of one-panelers, apart from the Garda subplot and the little kid. He could have tried to make it clearer, as you can tell by the lack of understanding at what was going on, but it wasn't totally incomprehensible.(Also, it might be a good idea to put a link to the Advent Calendar somewhere in there)
