    The ONE TIME I really want to enter a BBC Contest happens to be when I have no access to my LEGO collection.

    I'm gonna do everything in my power to enter though. Maybe I can have some of my pieces shipped to me. I'll have to see.
     
    Or at the very least I'll be around here ranting about anthro design in moccing throughout the entry period. :V

    Moar Chima Species

    So with the new episode and stuff we're seeing a lot of new tribes added to the lore beyond what's already in sets (gorillas, rhinos, bears, etc.). I've been curious as to what other species would make good tribes.
     
    A few ideas me and Bamble tossed around:
     
    Foxes (obvs)
    Hyenas
    Komodo dragons (we really need some kind of lizard, and these guys are sick)
    Sharks (SHARKS)
    Otters (need another aquatic tribe with sharks about)
    Lynx
    Porcupines (why not)

    Actually no I just moved into my own dorm lawl.
     
    Decided to switch from online learning to residential at Liberty University for the rest of my college years. Hopefully I'll be less of a stress monster with my less intense schedule.
     
    Been good so far. If a bit lonely before classes start and roommates moving in.
     
    So yeah that's why I haven't been around much lately. Love y'all. <3

    People have been wondering what gifts I got so let's cut to the chase. :3
     
    First off, probably the coolest thing I got, though technically not a gift per se.
     
     

     
    I commissioned that plushie from Kayru. It arrived last night and it's so perfect. <3 She's been accepting art commissions on a number of things recently, so check her stuff out will ya.
     

     
    Also got a number of LEGO things. In this picture is a 2013 LEGO Calendar, some more sorting shelves, a brick-built pencil holder and a Minifig-shaped lantern.

    My New Pet Peeve

    Recursive acronyms
     
    Acronyms that contain themselves.
     
    Like PHP standing for "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor" and GNU meaning "GNU's Not Unix".
     
    I already find acronyms frustrating but this is just TOO MUCH.

    I'm glad I've improved since. Though I really miss all the design experimentation I used to do, even if it was terrible.

    This is Coal Tower.
     
    It is made entirely of coal ore. 4 blocks squared, completely solid. Reaches from layer 64 to 255 (height limit). That makes 3056 blocks, which can yield a maximum of 12224 coal.

    brb saving Halloween

    Since Hurricane Sandy had pretty much ravaged our area and everyone's still without power, we weren't expecting any of the kids in our neighborhood to visit for trick-or-treating this Halloween. I felt pretty bad for all the younger kids in my neighborhood, having to deal with all this on a special day.
     
    So dad and I went around and dropped off little gift bags for the families with kids (or at least the families we know personally). It's like trick-or-treating, only BACKWARDS.
     
    It felt good doing something for them. ^w^ Also any excuse to run about in my new wolf hat, lawl.

    Power went out all night, then the generator broke

    We got that working again though. Not a lot if damage for us, but I am concerned for our new neighbors. They lost a big part of their roof.
