    Cave Story+

    FINALLY got a chance to play this version after buying it back in December.
     
    I'm not sure if it's the game's new engine or my keyboard, but I keep noticing subtle mechanical differences between Cave Story and Cave Story+ that are beginning to bother me. For example, I can no longer press X and Z simultaneously, making jumping and gunning much more cumbersome (and this was an important technique for early bosses like Balrog and Igor). I dunno, I guess I'll adjust.
     
    Even with those issues I feels so great to play this game again. I love it so much. <3

    Name: Lupus Lazuli
    Permanently broke his left wing in a flight school accident. This forced him to relocate to Ponyville. It doesn't bother him much anymore; he thinks living on the ground is pretty cool.
    Introverted. Generally a nice and friendly pony, but dislikes socializing in large groups of ponies.
    Enjoys studying the fierce and mythical creatures of Equestria. Claims to have seen various mythological beasts, but no one believes him.
    Competes with Fluttershy to see who can take down the most bears in an allotted amount of time. She usually wins.
    Suspected lycanthropic. Witnesses report seeing a wolfish animal with his fur colors roaming Ponyville at night. He has no recollection of such events, save for a few nightmares.

    (Valve still loses points for another year with no HL3 though.)

    Beat Mass Effect

    T'was a very good game through and through. :3
     
    I admit I skipped over a lot of side missions. I didn't realize until too late that access to the Citadel would be cut off. Next time I will make sure to complete those earlier on.
     
    Now to download the Mass Effect 2 demo. o_o

    For the longest time, I've had all my Bionicle pieces in a large tub. It's sufficient for holding all the parts, but digging through them to find what you need has become much too difficult.
     
    I tried sorting by color once, but that was still difficult to manage. (Ever tried digging through a bin of all black pieces before? ._.) I also did sort by part function once (torsos, limbs, etc.), but my collection was much smaller then, plus I feel that sorting them like that can lead to functional fixation.
     
    So how do you sort your Bionicle pieces, if at all?

    Truth be told, I had never seriously taken up drawing for my whole life, even though I wanted to. In the past few months I had decided to regurgitate graphite onto letter paper into something resembling "art".
     
    All of this is wolf art. Probably not a good way to start, but I can't do anything creative without a passion to motivate me.

    Some older full body sketches. Used some photos and figurines to help with proportions and posing.
     
    I am not really fond of my sketches, but I'm not one to judge my own work. I know I need a lot more training though.
     
    Any and all critique is welcome. Give me your worst. :3

    I can subconsciously sense when someone leaves the television on when no one else can.
     
    Now I must don a cape and fly around the city, using my super senses to turn off unattended television sets and save the world from the impending energy crisis!

    I decided to set up a Minecraft server on my old PC (which is a private server, invite-only), and wanted to test its stress capacity. So I gathered a few friends (Swert, MatoroIgnika, AvohkahTamer and LaughinMan) and we all did everything we could to crash the server.
     
    What did we do? Make cooked pork rain from the sky.
     

     
    And it was glorious.
     
    The server stress was actually not bad at all. It gave plenty of warnings when spawning too many animals, but never got to the point of crashing. Most lag was just from individual PC rendering, not the server itself. I would imagine normal gameplay would face no serious issues.
     
    I guess that old machine still has its uses. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with my server just yet, but one thing's for sure, I'm going to need a new world....

    No seriously, I am legitimately excited by the Hero Factory live action movie news.
     
    I fully expect it to be terrible. Thus I'll either love it for being laughably bad, or it will be decent and thus exceed my expectations.
     
    This will be fun.

    Anyone else here know of The Glitch Mob? I've kinda had a bit of an obsession with them lately. :B Just broke down and bought Drink The Sea.
     

     
    I really love the feel of this whole album. It has a powerful sound, but remains surprisingly calming. The first track, Animus Vox, Is easily my favorite, though he rest of the album is pretty much on par with it. It's a great album all around.
     
    I also got Warrior Concerto (from Together We Can Make The World Stop) for free. It was released in a sweepstakes that ended last year, but the download is still available. Ha! On my iPod's A-Z song list, it plays right before Warrior's Dance (The Prodigy); the combination of the two songs sounds awesome.
     
    I love discovering new electronic music. ^w^

    Playing though Ravenholm at 2 in the morning is never a good idea.
     
    Let this be a warning to everyone.
     
    OH GOD DID YOU HEAR THAT I THINK THEY'RE IN THE HALLWAY.
     
    I think I'll be sleeping with a crowbar under my bed from now on.

    I just saw a commercial for Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
     
    And one of the cereal pieces just ate another cereal piece.
     
    Which was then eaten by yet another cereal piece.
     
    I am absolutely terrified ._.
     
    But at least this Korra episode was awesome! :3
