    Moar Justice

    Nobody told me Justice was at Coachella 2012.
     
    So glad I caught it on ####### just before their performance began.
     
    It was a short gig, but a great lineup. Star Spangled Banner, Genesis, Civilization, Helix, NewJack, Horsepower and D.A.N.C.E., all mixed together into one long song. There was also a bit of phantom in there, but only for a second. What a TEASE.
     
    God I love Justice so much.

    Also I've recently (re)discovered a webcomic series called Off-White (pictured). It's pretty cool so far. Though I think you can all guess why I like it.

    Yep. My family, who run a local tutoring business, decided to host a small Lego club event in our area with the help of a local homeschooling community. We set up a few building tables, one with bulk bricks for free building and one with a few new sets for structured building. Naturally, I was the one to provide all the Lego pieces.
     
    It went pretty well too. Only a few people showed up for the first time, but we're expecting more people to join on Saturday this week.
     
    It was quite fun really. I didn't really participate much since I was mostly just supervising, but it's great to see the younger generation of kids are as passionate about Lego as we are. :3

    Mini Moc Dump

    I have not had much time to build anything significant recently, but I've thrown together two quick mocs recently that I figured I'd share.
     
    First, a model I made back in February titled "Alive". It's a heromod, basically, so I was reluctant to give it its own BBC topic at the time. I also wanted to develop the model as a character, and maybe even release a short story for him, but didn't get very far with that.
     
     

     
    Alive is a broken 1.0 Hero presumed inactive by Hero Factory. He managed to evade death however, and learned to survive by taking advantage of the natural environment he was stranded in.
     
    The second moc is just a tool accompanying my Chols model. The primary idea was to give the model more support when it's standing upright, and it added support makes posing a little easier now.
     
     

     
    I like to think of Chols as a sort of inventor or tinkerer, creating things from discarded objects. This is an electrical spear, made from scrap metal with live wires attached to electrocute targets. It's probably not very safe, though.
     
    That's all, nothing special. :B I got some new model ideas I'm currently tossing around, but don't have anything built worth sharing just yet.

    ​My Mondays are Twilight's Tuesdays. As in, INSANE HOMEWORK COMPLETION RUSH.
     
    Maybe I wouldn't be in such a rush if I didn't spend my morning dancing in my chair to Justice and watching RoosterTeeth videos? naaaaah.

    Easter

    Easter is the day we celebrate the discovery of the sylvilagus pascha, commonly called the Easter Rabbit. These elusive creatures are notable for their brightly colored eggs and peculiar nesting traits. Every year, around April, the Easter Rabbits leave their habitats to visit their nesting grounds and lay their eggs. Their preferred nesting grounds are the habitats of humans. However, this leaves their eggs vulnerable to their most dangerous predator, the human child, so the Easter Rabbits lay their eggs in hidden places to increase their chances of survival. But the human children are excellent hunters, and will spend an entire day seeking out the hidden eggs. The humans enjoy the eggs most when they are young, and the yolk is still brown and sweet. They will not stop until all the eggs in their territory have been stolen and devoured. Such vigorous hunting tactics have put the Easter Rabbit on the brink of extinction, as fewer and fewer Easter Rabbits are born each year.
     
    This is why we celebrate Easter, to spread awareness of this fascinating endangered species. I hope you have found this completely factual message to be enjoyable, educational and enlightening. Happy Easter!

    Mousey has clicked his last click today. He broke his tail and no longer responds to me.
     
    you were an irreplaceable friend and will be greatly missed. ;_;
     
    Then I grabbed an old serial mouse (with a broken scroll wheel) and rebooted the computer, only to be faced with a CHKDSC error on the c:\ drive.
     
    I think the universe is telling me to stop being stingy and get a new computer.

    Mmmysteries

    Aw yeah, another good episode. c:
     
    The conclusion to the mysteries were kinda silly. I think they could have done better. But hey, the ending still turned out quite nice. The scenes where Pinkie Pie accuses the other bakers were also great.
     
    I've noticed that in both seasons, we have an episode featuring crazy Pinkie Pie antics right before the finale. I guess her mental stability finally breaks down at the end of each season causing antisocial behavior or harassing various talking animals. Just a thought.

    2012 Lego Calendar

    Okay apparently the blogs are still active? Cool, because I've got something to share.
     
    As I mentioned before, one of my Christmas gifts was a 2012 LEGO Calendar. I've been looking through it, and I gotta say it's a very impressive calendar.
