Whenever I encounter one of those small dogs, you know, chihuahuas and their like, they're bound to start yapping at me.
The last week it has happened like three times. It's real weird... Altough somehow mildly amusing.
... And this time, we're going to Germany. Berlin, to be exact.
I'm leaving on Friday, and I'll be gone the entire weekend.
I'll be around until then though.
I haven't been in Germany before, so it'll be very interesting to go there.
I was at a museum yesterday, there had been some kind of gingerbread creation contest there.
Most of the entries were houses or buildings, two or three of them had collapsed, but there was one that was really,
really cool.
It was a giant monster snail.
Appereantly, it had won the contest- and trust me, there was no doubt why.
The body was mainly sculped out of thick gingerbread, but it was covered
by different kinds of syrup that looked exactly like slime of different kinds.
It also had a huge track of slime/syrup behind the beast, and in it was lots of
slaughtered gingerbread people. Everything was perfectly sculped, the shell,
the head, the body, not to mention the chess board it crawled over.
It was really awesome. I might get some pictures up, but I took them
with my cellphone, and they are very dark, and the quality of them probably
won't be the best, but whatever.
Spore works on my Mac again, and Creepy & Cute as well as the Exoskeleton Limbs
work fine. Galactic Adventures, on the other side, does not. Of course. Oh well, I'll just have to figure out
how to get it working.
Also, I have a MOC of a Thanator from James Cameron's movie Avatar standing beside me. I'll
get it up in the not very distant future, so keep your eyes open.
I kind of found out how "Eyjafjallajokull" is pronounced. But believe when I say that it doesn't make it
easier. Because apparantly, two Ls in a row is pronounced something like "kshr". It's nearly impossible to translate that
sound to text.
Also, the O(which is actually an Ö) is pronounced like an O and an A in the same letter.
I wish doing those was as much of a tradition here as it is for you guys in America. I made small pumpkin only once, and
that was like five years ago or something. I'd imagine making one today would be crazy fun, the ones I've seen looks like they've been
a pleasure to design. ;_;
apparently Lego didn't get my phone number, and it took me forever to notice they were trying to contact me, but here we are. now I was thinking, perhaps I should just not open this box just so that whenever someone goes "so what 2015 sets do you have", I can be like "all of them. theoretically." then I'll shake a sheet of paper with Schrödinger's face printed on it right in front of them for several minutes
So I've been doing some practical work on this store for almost two weeks now.
They've got a large array of stuff that they're selling, including a pretty big bunch of Lego sets.
I've been talking a bit about my Lego interest and stuff with the staff there and they seem to think it's pretty
cool that I've kept that interest up and stuff.
And just yesterday they offered me 25% off on everything I buy there :3
Now I'll save lots of money.
... Naw, just kidding of course, it'll just result in me getting a whole lot of more sets.
