OOC: Wow. A lot of stuff has happened. And I will proceed to make a completely pointless filler post.IC: Tawara (On top of Ga-Koro building)The Matoran watched as three new beings joined the battle.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)Tawara peeked around the corner of a domed two-story inn at the battle in the square. Kitsune screamed as a claw of earth erupted through the seaweed and seized her, crushing her ribs till violet blood dripped onto the street. Raion's voice boomed forth, as cold and emotionless as ever. Jikal's expression darkened and he spat a reply.The Matoran ducked back behind the building and dug her fingers into its slimy surface, nodded to Briani, and began to climb up the side of the wall. It didn't take long to reach the top; there were plenty of handholds in the wall, spaces where the plants were woven a little more loosely. When she finally reached the top, Tawara surveyed the battlefield. She was looking down at Raion from behind, Jikal nearly at the opposite side of the square and Kitsune between them. The Matoran lay flat on the rooftop and waited.

OOC: Sorry for my absence. Real life intervened.IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"Ah." Tawara ran towards the source of the noise.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)Tawara ran in front of Briani and held out a hand to stop her. "Uh, Briani, I'm pretty sure you don't know what part of the Koro the others are in."

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)"Save it. I know I'm flurged if Raion so much as notices me. But it sure beats wandering around the island like a karzhead until someone rips my intestines out." The Matoran paused. "I'll climb up onto a building's roof and watch from above. If it seems like I can get in a stab, I'll come down. Reinforcements. Pathetic ones, but maybe useful."Let's go. We don't want to get there and find Raion gloating over the lovebirds' corpses."

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)"You sure about that?" Tawara squinted up at the Toa. "Yeah, you're sure." The Ni-Matoran picked up her knife and started after Briani. "Then let's make it four against one. Well, I'm more like half a warrior. A quarter. Three and a quarter against one," she said with a crooked smile.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)Tawara tumbled through the window and then slammed it shut. She drew the blinds closed, then turned to face Briani. She stared at the Toa with horror in her eyes as she took in the extent of her injuries."I was hoping I was wrong..." Tawara muttered. Suddenly, the constant running and crippling fear of the last few minutes took their toll, and she collapsed to her knees. The Matoran of Lightning looked up at the Toa of Fire. "Briani, I'm so sorry. I wish this hadn't happened. Raion is evil. I can't believe I didn't notice it before. He did this to you, nearly killed me, now he's off fighting with Kitsune and Jikal. He's probably going to kill them. Mata Nui. Has this happened before? No, you won't want to answer that. We need to get out of here, out of this village. Oh, Mata Nui." Tawara was rambling now, she knew, but she didn't care anymore.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)Tawara took Kitsune's advice and ran. She had combat training and only her skinning knife to fight with, and if she joined a battle such as this, she would die without helping anyone. Despite these assurances, a tiny part of her heart still berated her for abandoning her friends. This wasn't their fight. It was Tawara's, and they were fighting it for her.No, it wasn't Tawara's fight. It was someone else's. Though the Matoran might have to leave Kitsune and Jikal to face Raion, she might still be able to help someone. After she was out of the others' sight, Tawara doubled back. A few more minutes of running, and she was standing before an Inn.The Ni-Matoran scaled the side of the building and rapped on Briani's window."It's Tawara!"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)"He told me to run. Said that he yearned for screaming and begging. He looked... really angry." Tawara's expression was as stoic as ever, but her voice trembled. "He was mad because Briani locked him out of their room. When I heard her speak from behind the door, she sounded scared. I think he hurt her."Now he's searching for me with a greatsword in one hand and a throwing axe in the other. I kind of made a scene to get the crowd to part so I could run faster. It won't be difficult for him to find us here."Kitsune, you're a Toa of Gravity. Do you think you could fly us out of the village?"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)"Iris is gone?" asked the Matoran, surprise in her eyes.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)"How am I supposed to calm down when there's a nine-foot Earth Toa after me! And how do I know I can trust you?"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)The Matoran raised her knife and took a few steps away. "Kitsune, your brother is trying to kill me."

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)Tawara risked a glance behind her. Raion was out of sight. Perhaps she stood a chance of making it after all.The Matoran cut short her antics and ventured down an alleyway, where she deposited her cloak and quiver behind a rubbish bin. Hopefully, anyone whose attention she had attracted would find her difficult to recognize without the grey cowl and bow. She felt regretful about abandoning her hunting tools, but survival was more important. If she survived this ordeal, she might be able to go back and fetch them.Tawara emerged from another alleyway and quietly moved along the street, keeping to the side of the road. She could probably survive if she made it out of the Koro. It would be difficult without her arrows, but a few pebbles would work nearly as well.The beings in the street were already returning to their conversations. It was funny to think that, from their perspective, nothing out of the ordinary was happening. Tall, reptilian Vortixx haggled with Ga-Matoran rope-weavers. Fruit merchants from Le-Koro and Po-Matoran carvers hawked their wares. A young Toa couple walked along the side of the road, one with green armor and the other with dark blue.No. It couldn’t be. He was dead. But it was.Alongside Kitsune stood Jikal, alive, well, and bare of any mark. He was smiling, laughing, and Kitsune smiled back.Tawara didn’t know what to do. What if she approached them and they revealed that they had been lying this entire time? That really, they too were evil and would gladly help Raion kill her? Then again, a Toa’s aid might be her only chance. If Raion found her, he could surely outrun her.Tawara emerged from the shadows. “Nice to see you’re alive, Jikal.”

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)There he was, a hatchet poised in his hand, his greatsword swinging at his side. Raion advanced casually, his face perfectly composed.The Matoran began to scream as she attempted to push her way through the crowded streets. "MURDER! MURDERER! MURDERER!" Some of the pedestrians ran away. Most remained behind, but gave Tawara a wide berth. Perfect. Of course, with Tawara's luck, the screaming would probably attract additional psychopaths eager to join in on the carnage, and the Ni-Matoran would be dealing with not one but five or six potential murderers. Still, with the crowd parted, she stood a better chance of outrunning them.Suddenly, a Toa with gray-green armor grasped Tawara by the arm and attempted to restrain her. "Are you all right, little--?"Tawara bit him on the hand. His grip loosened, and she broke free, sprinting even faster than before. Had that Toa intended to kill her? Probably not, but even so, she couldn't be slowed down. As she ran, the Matoran attempted a winding and unpredictable path through the streets, hoping that she might lose Raion. She continued to scream, and moved through the path the crowd made for her.OOC: Aargh, sorry for my absence. Look at me pestering everyone to post and then not doing so myself.Also, I've been meaning to ask this: How much, physiologically, are the BZPRPG characters like canon Bionicle characters? A lot of description makes it sound as though they're basically just oddly-colored humans (the BZPRPG characters, not the canon ones). I keep hearing about them wearing human clothes or removing their armor to reveal skin underneath. Am I missing something? My impression was always that if you removed a Matoran's armor, then his/her guts came with it.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro)Tawara bolted, running down the hall and pushing her way through the commons. The Matoran flung open the door and fled into the street.How could she have been so stupid? Raion had admitted to psychopathy without a second's hesitation, and Tawara had been fool enough to doubt the veracity of his claim. She had known he was evil and forced herself to believe that he was joking or not as bad as he seemed, all out of some misguided hope that she had actually found a way to survive this karzhole. But there was no way. Now she was going to die, either by Raion's hand or by some random criminal's.Tawara drew her knife.OOC: 'Twould be a good time for a Jikal landing about now, Krayzikk.

OOC: Okay, sorry. I don't think I understood before just how evil/amoral Raion was. Nor did Tawara...IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)"I'm a moron, aren't I?" Tawara swallowed and continued backing away, keeping her eyes on the Toa of Earth.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)The Matoran backed away. "Erm, you're the one who told Jikal not to pick fights with Matoran, heh heh," she said with a nervous grin.OOC: Darkon, "perturbed" means "anxious or upset". I really hope you didn't know that, because if you did, then this could get very awkward very fast. Raion may be the Token Evil Teammate, but he's the Token Evil Teammate. That would be a special kind of evil.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)"That sounds like she kicked you out. And it's already cooked. I ate in the forest." Tawara rapped her fingers against Briani's door. "Briani? Do you want any food?"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)"Lunch," announced the Matoran. She tossed the sack of Mahi meat at Raion's feet. "Briani kicked you out?"

Even if it does come back, it won't be the Bionicle we know and love. :uhuh:I'd love to be proven wrong, though.Heh, I can see it now: all of us as crotchety old men and women muttering about how much better Bionicle was in our day. Oh wait, that's already what most of this forum is about.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Inn)Tawara returned to the inn with a stomach full of Mahi meat and the Rahi's remains stuffed into a sack hanging over her shoulder. She made her way through the commons and hallway and to the door to Raion and Briani's room.OOC: So who's in what room? I left that blank to go back and edit based on whether you think:- The girls are in one room, Raion in another (in this case, assume Tawara enters her and Kitsune and Briani's room).- Raion and Briani are in one room, Tawara and Kitsune in other rooms (the same or different) (in this case, assume Tawara knocks on R & B's door).- Everyone is in one room (assume Tawara enters it).Edited.
