"Goara Nui. Right. Y'know, I almost forgot that..." Tawara appeared worried. "I'm a Matoran of Lightning. My goals are to survive, to..." Here she trailed off before continuing, "As for homicidal tendencies, I've killed by accident, again as you know. Can't guarantee it won't happen again, but I will do my best to avoid it."OOC: Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition (sorry).Also, apparently it's illegal for a character to remember anything about his/her origins if s/he came from anywhere outside Mata Nui. I suppose I'll have Tawara slowly forget it unless someone comes to correct me again, since I think a retcon would be too jarring.

And, of course, I already know 'bout Jikal -- " Tawara turned towards the Ni-Toa " -- he has a murderous lunatic holed up in his head.""Sorry if that conversation was awkward," said Tawara, though she didn't seem sorry at all. "I just wanted to know who I'm talking to. If, for example, one of 'em was goin' to stick a knife between my ribs if I hung around too long. But I guess you pass." The look in her eyes, a mixture of fear, anger, and suspicion, challenged any of them to come forth with that knife.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Streets)Tawara squinted at the Toa of Gravity. "Yeah, I think you're tellin' the truth." Ignoring Kitsune's confusion, the Ni-Matoran swiveled around to face Briani. "And how about you? Are you plannin' to murder one of us in our sleep? Or all of us? Or another person? I just want to know what sort of company I'm in." There was a hint of a tremor in the Matoran's voice, barely audible but nonetheless present.

OOC: Um, Kitsune just said "I'm am". Might want to edit that. IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"You sure about that?" It was impossible to tell whether Tawara was joking.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"Isn't that what a psychopath is? Someone with no empathy, who lives only for their own amusement? But I wouldn't say that's worse than Iris or the Skakdi. 'Course, when you find it amusing to rip out my guts and make a hat out of 'em or somethin' I may eat my words. So what about you?" She turned to Kitsune. "Are you secretly an assassin from the League of Shadows? Or maybe you collect severed fingertips?"OOC: Tawara doesn't know that that's a reference to something in our world.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"Are you some sort of psychopath, then? Like Iris? Or those Skakdi who attacked Ta-Koro?"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)Tawara sat and turned to the others. "So, why would this person be after you again?"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"How about you fight the assassin, and the rest of us run screamin'?" Tawara asked Raion.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)The Matoran stared confusedly. "Are you bein' sarcastic?"

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"There's no point in lookin' for a fight, 'specially not with the guy who did this." Tawara gestured to the corpse. "If he follows us, we fight. But we should be runnin', not talkin'. Lead the way."

I defeated Primus with a toothpick made of Jell-O. TOPPED.I command an army of Brutaka's species wielding lightsabers.

IC: Tawara (Ga-Koro Street)"How about this one?" offered Tawara. "When are we going to run for our lives?"

Personally, I see them as mostly-organic beings covered in metallic exoskeletons. Closer to the movie view. Underneath the armor, they have more or less Earth-animal-ish anatomy, including bones with the calcified shell replaced by the same stuff that makes up their exoskeletons. Unlike some people have decided, though, the armor is NOT removable. That would leave the character as a bloody, mangled mess. I'm perfectly aware that none of this is canon, though.

I see a purple and yellow jester with very sharp clothing.

I can juggle the Brotherhood of Makuta, every Matoran, Toa, and Turaga to ever exist, sixteen Visorak and a small Phase Dragon while running in an irregular hexagon and enjoying a meal of roast Kahu, vegetables in cream sauce, pinapple slices and orange juice. On a tightrope. TOPPED.I don't need a Huna (or cloak) to become invisible.

Fortunately, an alternate universe Takua appears and dons the Mask of Light.
