Half day at school today, so I'm on early. Not for long, just so you know.
It's raining and I have nothing to do, so I'll finish my Senior Art Project first. After that, I have an idea for a story, so I'll hand-write in my notebook.
I'd go to the library to pick up my reserved copy of The Jungle by Upton Sinclair, but alas, it is raining too much for the trip.
So today was just as expected: Good weather enough for County Fair/Field Day at school.
I was face painting half the time. Intermediate School barely came over for face painting, but there were lots of little kids. Only problem was that the little kids were so monotone and bore no facial expression when we painted them. What kind of generation is this? o_O
Anyway, I got one of my friends to paint a goatee on my chin. It looks awesome, and I still have it as of this entry's publishing. B)
So for Field Day I did Spoon and Potato race (third year!). I got an awesome potato, it was flat and fit perfectly on my spoon. When the race actually started, I technically got third place, but the second place dude dropped his potato at the finish line so I got second place. AKA red ribbon.
Overall fuuuun day.
In other news, I've been watching Black Cat a lot (as visible by my avvie/banner). I'm almost done with the second season, which means I'll be done overall. I think I'm crazy!
Throat still hurts, one of my eyes itches, my nose is stuffed, I couldn't breathe through my nose some parts of the day, and my head occasionally hurts for long periods of time.
I dislike washing it. A lot. I have to use lots of shampoo and then I have blow-dry it and then I have to comb it and when it finally dries it's really frizzy and full of knots. And it takes a day or two to settle down a bit. And when I want to wear it down, it just goes frizzy and I look like Dio only with more hair, so I always have it up or in a braid.
So I was digging through my backpack this morning to empty it out of useless stuff, and I find a ruler. Correction, a piece of a ruler. Then the other piece. Pics (possibly bad quality, but no worries):

I seriously have no idea how it broke, it's like a laser cut through it or something. o_O
So I got up at six, packed, washed up, etc, and walked to school. I stopped for a bagel at the bakery, and then bumped into buddies Ana and Sammy, and then Olive and Ben and Angie. We walked to school, and got inside where we sat for half an hour or more. We boarded the bus, and went off. I almost got motion sickness, but I somehow saved myself. The ride was looong and boring, even with the movie Sandlot playing. Coach bus btw.
We got there, and my friends took the paddleboats while I watched. We then played tennis, but the boys took the stuff so we went to play mini-golf and didn't even get past the third hole before we had to go onto horses at 10:30.
We waited a bit, got a quick lesson on how to control the horse, and got our horses. I got a male named Jersey, and he was pretty sweet. While we went along the trail in a long line, a lot of the horses stopped to eat the vegetation around them. We had to pull then back into line before everything got chaotic. Riding the horses on our own was mega fun, although I had trouble getting off mine.
After that, my friends and I headed to the indoor pool and swam a bit there. Okay, I can't swim, but I could still go in. There were inflatable beach balls and a net and it was fun.
Next we had lunch, which was a bunch of BBQ stuff. The chicken was horrible, but the macaroni salad was amazing. As was the corn on the cob.
After that, we went to the outdoor pool despite the rain and cold. It had a huge slide, but I got too cold to go on it. They said the water was heated, but clearly it wasn't. >__> I changed back rather quickly, and chilled inside the snack room with friends and cheese fries.
There was a lot of drama throughout the day, but mostly it was amazing and fun and I had a good time on my last trip with my classmates.
Also, it had been raining and super cold, but I went outside with a tanktop and I had been perfectly fine. In fact, the cold and wet made the day strangely more awesome. It felt... good.
Remember when I tutored two of my friends in math, and I bet that they hardly got anything out of that?
Well now a guy who's missing at most twenty homework assignments from the marking period is asking for it. Although he'll probably want more just the answers than actual help. -__-
In other, happier, news, my Senior Trip is tomorrow. I'm off to a Dude Ranch upstate, I'll describe it tomorrow. B)
So, today in math class we started Trig. And we learned the abbreviations to remember sine, cosine, and tangent: SOH CAH TOA. As soon as my teacher said "TOA" the guy next to me and I both yelled "Bionicle!"
Also when you say Soh Cah Toa in a hissing voice it reminds me of movie Nidhiki. o_O
So yeah, I was playing some games earlier today, and I could barely do anything in any of the games. Sure, I know how to dribble and can make a shot or two on occasion, but other than that I wasn't very good.
Luckily the ball wasn't even passed to me a lot. >__> Or at all sometimes...
I believe so, because I have been on a roll with writing my latest concept for the past week. Usually, I end up with a block in the middle of writing anything, but here I've been typing and editing non-stop, except for internet check-ups and life stuff, and am past 8 pages with a lot more to go. Gonna get back to it after posting this entry.
