Today, all the art students in my grade got to go and see a presentation by ILM (Yeah, the special effects peeps) about how they do their stuff for movies. We got to see some awesome concept art for Pirates of the Carribean 3, Iron Man, and Transformers. It was really cool, seeing how they had to digitally make every miniscule part of a Transformer, then put it together into a figure, only to have it explode in a scene. Plus, they showed us a lot of cool (and oftentimes nostalgic) clip shows of movies they did in the past, like Star Wars and E.T., as well as some more recent stuff. -Nuju Metru
