  1. Behold! My SPACES IN NINJA ENTRY THINGY!

    thumbnail.png

The first version was a bit sloppy, but I was able to update it before the deadline, so if you've seen it once already, I encourage you to check it again for even better awesomeness. ;)

Anyway, this is actually my first digital painting! I normally limit myself to just drawing, but this contest gave me a chance to try something new. if it's not obvious enough, the two are in the Ta-Koro area, fighting it out on a river of lava! It took about 3'ish hours to finish, and I'm rather giddy with how it turned out. I'm anxious to hear what you guys think!

  2. IC: TBK (:D/20)

TBK was about to throw his head at Chro, but he remembered something. He quickly ran over to one of the sub-ovens located throughout the arena and shouted "I almost forgot!"

He pulled out a huge flaming cake, as tall as TBK himself, and set the sweet inferno in the middle of the arena.

    "It almost got burnt!"

  3. IC: TBK [5/20]

TBK hit a flurry of varying situations at once. Heroes showed up to tend to the wounds on his leg [8/20], Business drones reopened a few [6/20], and the Bohrok just weren't in a happy mood [3/20]. He recomposed himself, stood up, and surveyed the battle around him. The hundreds of drones and bohrok and all added quite a mix to the fight, but through the cloud of soldiers, he could still see Dapper, who seemed to be in a rather interesting faceoff with Colette. For TBK, he was now a primary target in consideration of his drone army. And TBK was nearly dead anyway, so he might as well go all out.

While he was distracted by Colette, TBK ran up behind Dapper as quickly as possible and swung two flaming blades down on his back.

Betcha can't miss this one, he thought.

    [3/20]  Attacking Dapper.

  4. IC: TBK [5/20]

Well... for some reason, the fireballs never made it to Dapper. They just sort of... vanished.

Oh well. He decided to just instead run back the point of Chro's death and retrieve his blades from where they had stuck the heap of corpses. As he slid the daggers back out from among the bodies, he looked over and noticed that Chro's body was gone. He had revived, apparently, and considering that he hadn't made an appearance yet, he was mostly likely sneaking around the arena somewhere.

With this in mind, TBK clambered back toward the top of the nest, ready to focus on Dapper when he acted again, but also staying wary of Chro, wherever he could be.

    [5/20] Approaching barricade.

  5. The hype train is approaching the end of the track. There are two possible endings to this:

    (1) As normal, a railroad barrier bearing nightmarish images of Galidor, Clikits, and LEGO Shrek will be hiding at the end, and we will all perish in a fiery explosion of everlasting disappointment.

    (2) The train will successfully grow wings and emerge from the track as a glorious pheonix.

    PHEONIX PLEASE

  6. IC: TBK [Reviving : +5/20]

As TBK watched from above the battlefield in his ghostly embodiment, things began to roll downhill for his team. Chro was flanking the group, and Dapper was finishing off Blaze and Fishers. It was clear that now was the time to return -- another minute and it could be too late for both his teammates. Turning his attention back to the barricade where his own corpse lay, TBK flew down toward the limp body -- and opened his eyes, sucking in a breath of new air. He was back to fight for another day.

As life rejuvenated his veins, he leaped up -- or rather, hobbled up, as his legs were not fully healed -- and formed two blazing fireballs of plasma. Carefully taking aim at Dapper, who just grabbed Fishers's neck from behind, he hurled the spheres in an attempt to knock him away from Fishers.

[5/20] Revived and firing at Dapper.

  7. I was about 5 or 6 when I was browsing the shelves of our tiny cow-town Walmart. I was allowed to get one toy every time we went -- which wasn't often -- and at the time, I wasn't even really into LEGOs as much as I was Beast Wars (which was awesome as well, mind you). One time in 2001, a new LEGO line showed up on the shelf, and I was immediately enthralled with Toa Tahu and took him home. I was sold.

At the time, it was just the cool masks and pieces and everything about the Toa Mata's playability that captured me at first, and after a while, I began to wonder what the Toa were doing in the pictures of the back of those canisters, grabbing those shiny golden and silver masks and all. So I looked it up, and by the time I could keep up with the storyline, I was doubly in love with Bionicle because of its dark and mysterious tone, leaving something new around every corner.

My little brother thought I was a weirdo for staying a fan for so long, but now that it's coming back, he's a little excited too. ;)

  8. I honestly have about 10 ideas for the contest on the drawing board right now, but it'll be an accomplishment to get one finished before the deadline. I'm just one of those people who can't seem to finish anything that they've starte

  9. IC: TBK [sorta dead]

As everyone regrouped at Shadowhawk's barricade, TBK began to fall into a slumber, hoping to rest and recover from the battle that had ensued. After some time, he fell asleep and began to dream about Voxumo and catfood.

As he woke, he noticed he was dead. So he didn't really wake. Just kind of stayed dead. That stunk.

[Corpse'd] Waiting for a good moment to respawn.

  10. IC: TBK [1/20]

TBK was dumped headlong over the barricade, landing on his head at a painful angle. Despite having to be dragged over by horrifyingly humongous spiders, he was grateful for Shadowhawk's intervention. As he looked up -- or was it down? -- he saw an upside-down image of Shadowhawk, smiling.

    "Welcome, brother."

TBK gently eased back onto his side and settled into a sitting postion, clutching his wounds. He grinned and repiled, "Thanks for the ride."

    [1/20] Holding position in fort.

  11.

Spot 4. Luroka has a target on his back.

    lolololol

Divisions are forming within MOPE, it appears.

Clearly you have been misinformed. MOPE was founded upon divisions - if we are to be truly evil, we must also find ourselves built upon such evil. Such are our beliefs at MOPE.

Such schisms as this are what makes us strong. You should never mix friends with business. Only acquaintances.

"A house divided against itself cannot stand."

MOPE crawls instead. That's their trade secret.
