    Crayola

    When I was younger, Crayola crayons went into their 100th year.
     
    Because of this, they sold special Gold Boxes with 100 of their colors.
     
    The other day my grandmother gave me one of these boxes that she found in a closet. It was mine, and since I was horrible at coloring I never really used them.
     
    Looking on the back of the box, I saw there was a contest going on during their 100th year.
     
    "We're bringing in four new colors, but to do so we need to get rid of four classic colors! You pick which of these FIVE CHOICES can stay in the 100!"
     
    So yeah, they picked five colors, and asked us to pick which of the five would not be with the four sent away.
     
    Looking through the box, I saw I still have all five choices. All intact.
     
    Burnt Sienna
     
    Blizzard Blue
     
    Mulberry
     
    Teal Blue
     
    Magic Mint
     
    ..I dunno why, but I feel glad to still have these five colors you can't get anymore.
     
    I think I'll keep them on my shelves.

    Blog Layout

    I'm considering changing the look of this blog. Maybe.
     
    I'm not sure, exactly. I don't /want/ to change the name. Red Hot Muffins is my favorite name for a blog.
     
    I know one thing, a change to some layout would be nice. I guess.
     
    Maybe some links, I dunno. What do you fellows think?

    Breez has heels. At least I'm assuming they are meant to be that in some way. I actually like that little detail.
    Phantom really really makes me think of a fusion between Fire and ol' Neb. Like really.
    Evo's helmet looking somewhat like his first is a very nice touch.
    Furno doesn't seem to suck as much as he used to. I like the propellers added to him.
    Jawblade is a shark. That's awesome in my opinion.
    I really like the Rocka set. The gold coming back as gold is nice, but all those extra features like that ammo like belt/spear holder on his back are double nice.
    Splitface makes me think of a mixup between two villains from before. I forget their exact names, but his helmet/face make me think that. He's red, too. Which is cool.
    I'll say it, I HATE Surge having green. I like white and blue better. But it's nice to see his first form's sword/whatever in blue.
    Thornaxx makes me think of the Nui-Rama. My favorite Rahi set. So that's super neat for me. Plus, TEAL.
    Toxic's helmet is nice, and the green flames are nice too.

    Side notes-
     
    This group of sets seems a lot better from the past three groups. Each group had a bunch of stuff I liked, but I do like this new lineup the most.
     
    The Heroes seem better built, and actually look strong unlike their flimsy 2.0 and 3.0 looks.
     
    The villains are interesting, mostly Jaw and Thorn.
     
    I still hate green on Surge despite the fact his eyes are green.
     
    Stickers. I still hate those. But whatever.
     
    Seeing the Thornax launchers with a bit of armor on-top this time makes them a bit more fresh and better to look at.
     
    I do like those new cuffs.
     
    Original line's helmets. So nice. I guess.
     
    That's about it for what I can say.

    Earthquake

    ..Was there an earthquake on the Eastern side of the states?
     
    At all?
    I swear I felt one a few minutes ago. Or at least something with a strong enough shake to move my chair and desk.

    Hello chaps.
     
    Another interesting bit that went on during the forum downtime was all that craaaaazzzy weather!
     
    If you live on the East Cost, you know just what I mean.
     
    A certain earthquake, and then a certain storm.
     
    I've lived here, in my state. All my life.
     
    Raised by my grandparents, you see. So I've seen a lot. Such as storms.
     
    But I never felt an earthquake before, and to be honest when that one happened? Not impressed. I honestly thought a tree fell in my backyard. (We have a lot of trees around my area, you see.)
     
    And that storm. That big old storm did absolutely nothing to us. Now yes, I know it was worst in the upper part of the state, but for my part that has a lot of water around; it didn't do much. At least from what I saw. I mean, the power cut for an hour the night it happened and once again at 1:35, and got back on at 4:30 next evening. So we did loose power.
     
    But in all, the weather didn't really.. impress me. For the first hurricane I was in, I expected a little' more "unf". It just seemed like a really dark drizzle storm. To my grandfather and myself, at least.

    So the forums are back, that's good. Now I have motivation to continue my comics again.
     
    Though, I did enjoy the few month break. I played games, did stuff. Ya know, just stuff to keep my time filled.
     
    My day isn't really interesting, it's bland and slow.
     
    So I guess I'll go over some of the stuff that did happen.
     
    I went to Tucson.
     
    I played games a lot more to pass the time.
     
    I got a lot of rest.
     
    I bought some of the new LEGO sets.
     
    I made word docs to help me re-post my comics when the forums come back.
     
    I lost a friend.
     
    Another friend didn't want to be my friend, too.
     
    I enjoyed some pies over the Summer.
     
    I guess that's it for now.

    Money In The Bank

    I'm still fairly new to keeping money from stuff in the bank, investments and such.
     
    To the point I need to learn to not confuse the monthly invested cash(or whatever) for the total amount.
     
    Case in point, I thought I had 14 bucks left when really, 14 bucks were added in.
     
    To which I get worried and think "Oh no someone got my money".
     
    So yeah.

    A Busy End Of March

    Ugh, hello!
     
    My grandmom had surgery on her right eye on Tuesday, so I've been busy helping out after that.
     
    She gets her left eye done next week, on Tuesday again. Then she's all better.
     
    March leads into April, you know.
     
    Which means my birthday is after next week. Should be interesting.
     
     
    So how is everyone?

    You know, a long time ago when I was a bit younger I went fishing with my grandfather and uncle.
     
    It.. it was really fun, one of the highlights of one of the summers. I miss fishing, I should do that again.
     
    Do you chaps have any good memories of things you'd want to try again?

    Whats your favorite type of bread?
     
    In fact, what do YOU like to put on/how do you eat your bread?
     
    For me, I like potato bread.
     
    I like to make sandwiches out of bread.
     
    Maybe toast it, add some butter or Nutella.

    I've thought for some time on changing the blogs name.
     
    But let's be honest here, chaps.
     
    Red Hot Muffins is simply the best name there is for my blog.
     
    As for screen name, there is no way I'm switching from "Gavla" to something else.
     
    It makes for the perfect gag.

    A New Year

    It's a new year, everyone. Second day of it, in fact.
     
    Mm.. smell that?
     
    It's rain. We over here near the sea get welcomed in.. with rain. Plus snow still on the ground but whatever.
     
    Ya know, to be honest the only real problems for me this past year.. was the weather. Horrible heat in the summer (Plus add broken air conditioners ) and bitter cold in winter..
     
    With broken heaters.
     
    Seems all my problems were mechanical.

    Creepy Neighbors

    I don't like some of our neighbors, for various reasons.
     
    Some being, why one would walk their dog in our yard.. I dunno.
     
    Maybe she wanted our Christmas decorations.
     
    Hard to tell, but it's creepy.
     
    One of them walks around without a shirt sometimes. Blah.

    Stormy Return

    I'm back! From Texas!
     
    It was so sunny there, the sky so blue.. so clear..
     
    But I was sick going there. Blah. Happens on the extra long trips. Chicago was beautiful, you all should see the (I think it's the main) main street. Flowers.. so lovely.
     
    So many things. I took a few pictures, might post them here later.
     
    I'm all better now, but my foot from that fall the past week still bugs me.

    Texas

    Well tomorrow I go. Leaving for Texas by train. Going out west, as they say. Or.. something like that. When I went to New Mexico, I saw a lot of cows on the way. I hope I see more of those fine creatures. Moo.
     
    Anyway, yeah. Going by train.
     
    8:30, NJ-Transit
     
    Near noon is the train to Washington DC. Then the train to Chicago.
     
    Tuesday, train from Chicago to Texas. Get in on Wednesday.
     
    Only for a week, I shall be gone. Yet still here. Chaha.

    Injury

    So. Uh.
     
    I fell down the last three steps in my house and twisted my foot. Only hurts on the side, only when I really walk. Not when it's perfectly still.
     
    So that's kinda the big news today, besides the pool getting closed. (Closed for the winter.)

    I hate it when the smoke detectors just suddenly "beep".

    It's worst when it's like..one AM.
     
    So anyway, last night I awoke to the smoke detector in my room beeeeeping. Why? I guess..batteries? I dunno, but it stopped when my grand-dad looked at it.
     
    -More alarms-
     
    I was about..nine. Nine years old, and we were in an elevator. I found the "Big Red Emergency" button to be quite snazzy, so...

    It's Summer, yet it's getting cold around here.
     
    It's a sign of the next Winter.

    Wow, I'm actually going to be leaving my house today.
    The thing with my family, is when my grandfather is away on a trip that leaves my mother as the only transport.
    Trust me, you don't want to drive with her.
     
    Going shopping today, with a friend, and out to lunch.

    Eyes And Rabbits

    I don't like pollen, it aggravates my eyes.
     
    Tomorrow should be fun, I'm actually going out and about with one of my friends to look for the HF sets and get new books and such.
     
    Attempting to learn how to animate sprites too.
     
    Oh, hey hey, guess what?
     
    We have baby bunnies in our back yard.
     
    They look so cute outside in the grass.

    If there is one thing I dislike about being a comic maker is the massive amounts of PM's about things, sprites, tips, PGS and GS spots..
     
    Argh.
     
    I spent the last three minutes cleaning up any un-needed PM's. So if you chaps had to send me something, or reply to me for something, you can do so again now.
     
    In other news, life has been busy busy busy!
     
    Grandmother had teeth surgery, my leg's been bugging me, odd fixes of depression seeping in.
     
     
    All very strange.
     
    All very stressful.
     
    As such, listening to piano songs for an hour or so seems to make me sad. Which is odd, cause I play Piano. Hmm.

    Glasses

    You chaps know I wear glasses. I mean come on, I'm like..half blind in my left eye.
     
    But I hate cleaning them. I got this little cloth and spray for them from the eye doc and like every day I gotta spray em, and wipe em so they sparkle and don't look dirty.
     
    Cause you can tell when they are in need of a wash.
     
    Put them up on your head, near your eyes.
     
    You get what I mean.
