I didn't cry when they announced BIONICLE was ending. I almost cried while reading this first bit... The characters are so well developed. I know this would be changed a little, but I would've spent 30 USD on this movie, Personally, I would've preferred this to the current story we have planned....maybe it is because I already know the ending. Point is I loved it. I really wish Lego hadn't decided to end the line. This would've made an epic movie...except for the Dinosaur part....But blasting them to Bota Magna (I guess that is what happened) was an epic choice. Just a quick question, is it possible we can get the Legend Reborn Treatment? Just to get an estimate how much the story changes from point A to Z?

Well, all i can say is, This started up recently....December 8th and 9th are when these accounts started posting My guess is the people in the BZP topic who theorized this as possible, who are trying to prove us all wrong by their sinister schemes... My favorites are the following: Takanuvas: We should hide in the coliseum. It's the last place he would expect. *KoS note: Wow, it sounds like a spoof of LotR* looking for my mask, otherwise I look like some bird. @_Tahu hey, if it weren't for me you would still be floating in that ocean. Tahu: A Matoran just ran by screaming for his life. Man, those guys are just so short and funny looking. Lit three Rahkshi on fire before going to bed. I'll be thinking of their screams tonight. @_Kopaka And see, this is why I said buy a map. But no, maps are for losers. @_Kopaka Oh come on! You remember Hahli's stories, don't you? Carapar was a grade A pain in the neck. I love it how they act like they're responding to things that the other person hasn't sent.... funny. But I agree, if this was of LEGO, we would have heard something long before four days after it started....and even then, we would get something Official (sorry SPIRIT)

English Binky!!! Use English!!! But the poster is awesome just the same.

Oh my, Incredible! You really didn't screw up, honest. Gresh is by far my favorite. I personally believe you did capture his character VERY well, not a character I would change. Same with Tarix and Vastus and Kiina. Masterful job with them. My only complaint with Ackar is he looks a bit younger than he should. It's still amazing.

My guess is you're twice as good as you say/think you are.... I used to be in a soccer club, it was a huge deal--the head coach used to be in the national professional team. I was in this club with kids who look like they'd played the sport every day since they were four--point is, they were good. I was the worst one on the team since I had only played the sport once or twice before my mom signed me up. Playing though, with the best of the best helped me improve a lot faster than if I had been just on my own. In a year I was good enough to beat a lot of people outside the club. Just hanging around and playing with experienced players helped my skill level go up. ...I say that just to encourage you to meet with other musicians, even now as you are "rusty." It could be somebody from BZP, it could be some friends in your local community, It could be Squanto Jones the Fourth and his heavy metal band....or not. anyway, I personally believe that just practicing with other people helps a lot. It helps motivation, it helps skill levels, it helps the fun come out sometimes. Also it gets you to try new things on the spot, see what works, what doesn't. And if you make a few mistakes, don't worry, it's about having fun. I would write more but I have a day to start... Hope that encourages you a little.

Music is wonderful, agreed. Good hobby to renew your interest in. I use Audacity all the time with audio projects. Not so much music yet, though as soon as I get an adapter for my guitar and bass... an old friend of mine used Audacity for music mixing before he moved on to the expensive programs (he has rich relatives) It should have all you'd need...I think it even has a built in metronome. Basic recordings are easy to throw together. The button with the red dot in the middle is a recording button, and it records whatever sound gets picked up by your mic until you turn it off . Very simple, Right? There are also hundreds of free downloads, so what effects didn't come with the original program, you can probably get in an effects pack. I was also at a media conference last January and the audio guy recommended this program, though it was just for general audio mixing. Basically, it's simple, but it gets the job done and has enough effects to do what you want. I also downloaded the program that Smeagol4 suggested, KRISTAL. All I can say it is rather confusing to start with, and I had to use the help features just to figure out how to record something (you have to push two buttons). As I have only recently downloaded it and haven't really explored it, I can only really say that it seems much more professional than Audacity. Trust Smeagol's word on this part. Also, like Smeagol said, if you are looking for somebody to jam with, feel free to PM me and maybe we can set something up. I play acoustic piano, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, and drums (Though I'm only medium level with most of them)... I'll be praying you get that car.

What??? You closed two 7 year old topics in one day? In the same Minute? Couldn't you at least have given us some warning? What was wrong with them in the first place? If they had been around that long they couldn't've broken any rulez.... *sighs* Oh well.... Give me a day and a tiny explanation and I'll get over it..... EDIT: For the record...I don't think I've ever used that many emoticons in one post before....

Job hunting is no fun, I hope you get what you need. I'll be praying for you. On another note: *sends chocolate* I would send you some good real European Chocolate...but, a, I don't know your address, and b, it would melt long before it reached you. Maybe later.... As far us "doing alright," haven't you realized it already? All BZPers are interesting psychological cases (AKA Mentally unstable nerds)...who've banded together around a toy line to create this great community. We can never be "Doing alright" (At least mentally we can't....) I'm doing great though...thanks for asking.

YAY!!!! more Flyleaf Fans!!!!! and I agree, from what I've heard (Arise, Again, Beautiful Bride, and Missing) this is one of the best records of the year!(and 2009 had a lot of them) I kinda want a hard copy, so I'll see when I'm going to get it. It might not be for a while. It's a conspiracy to keep our pockets low on cash.

Hang in there Lady K. Life often throws us on loops, but you'll make it through, and be stronger as a result. Don't get down on yourself over nanowrimo...you're way ahead of schedule (and about 6000 words ahead of me, if that makes you feel any better) and yeah, it might sound forced, but so does every novel during the first stages. My brother had some sleep issues a while back. I think a lot of those sleep-meds stop working if you use them over several nights. Maybe you could try switching between meds every few days. Just a guess. Don't know what else to say that hasn't been said before. I'll be praying for you.

Ok, I offically can't live through November without writing a novel.... Add me to the list Lady K.... How's everybody doing so far? EDIT @Lady K...Oh yeah, I added you as a writing buddy (my username's the same on as on my BZP quiz banner) Hope you don't mind

I'm sure Bink's touched it at one point. Bink, what is your curse? Omnipotence. Ok, Binky, you just moved up like 10 points on the scary meter. Cool mask though.
-
Hmmm.....Did this for the past two years...and I actually completed it the first of those years (2007) but I really don't think I'll have time this year... Maybe though, just maybe. EDIT: November first dawned and I had the urge to write a novel. So I concede. Add me to the list.

Ugh, youch. Sorry if I've ever done that to you, Greg (I can't remember doing it, but I'm sorry all the same...and yeah, I realize you'll never read this anyway) Listen to him people! and by the way, I think that it's a great rule to follow with EVERY PM. The server isn't that hungry.

Thanks Lady K, that's a great reminder. I'm glad you're doing a lot better now.
-
Hmm...he looks a lot taller than I imagined. Now, get a picture with Jim Cummings and I will really be upset! Congrats, they have the honor of saying they had their picture taken with Bink!
-
Wow, She had the honor of being in a picture with Bink!!!!

Not sure any of these are going to be any help...but Where would we be without the Dodo Bird? Remember the Burnakk! Why did the Gukko cross the road? Comrades of the Skrall Union... Beware the sea monkey made of cheese! Pickles owned! Fire and water mix, don't believe the Government! Peace, Love and Gafna, Dude! Live long and....bunny Atomic bunnies with uzis. Poke Bink...it's fun. (just kidding) I doubt these will be much help, but maybe... EDIT Oh yeah, on more "Do you want fries with that?"

Guys, if you need help with Audacity for any reason, feel free to PM me. I am not sure I can answer your question 100% of the time, I but I use that program fairly often, so if you need help with effects, or just want it spelled out because you don't have time to figure it all out yourself...just....uh....PM me

Just to warn and help all you peeps who with deep voices. Not saying you won't get the part, since that is not up to me. But remember, with technology as it is, people can make their voices an octave deeper (and still at normal speed) with the click of a button. so those who don't have natural deep voices can get deep voice parts. But this is also good for you. You can change the pitch up if you want a part that demands a higher voice than you can give. I guess my point is, don't limit yourself to your natural voice, and don't expect others to do it either.
-
Well, glad to see this project taking it's first baby steps (if I may use the phrase )...I will be eager to hear just who gets the parts....though I must admit, I was surprised that you, Skully, started so soon. I figured you would wait at least until the first break of episodes in your project.... Oh well, it isn't the first time I have been wrong. Anyway, I doubt I will audition...looks like you both already have a healthy turn out, and the wider range of cast, the better. well, best wishes to all that participate. I will look forward to hearing your voice on this project.

Something tells me there was nothing for a joke this year....which is ok for me... But seriously Bink?? the 1st was 18 days ago ......if you are ever going to tell it....well you should know what comes next...When ever you're ready....
