The Mask of Ice

IC: (Uar)Uar followed the rest of the group to Po-Wahi.OOC: Uar to Po-Wahi.

IC: (Uar)"So, what're we waiting for?" Uar said as he started walking towards the village gates.

IC: (Uar)"So, do you know anyone who has any idea about where Havon may be?" Uar asked Dekuna.

IC: (Uar)"Maybe we should start by searching for witnesses..." Uar suggested.

IC: (Uar)"So, what now? Do we try to dig under the ice to make a base, or just go somewhere else?" Uar said, not seeing any other options.

IC: (Uar)"I don't really think a servant of Makuta would meaninglessly trash someone's home just to be a nuisance... Maybe he was searching for something?" Uar suggested.

IC: (Uar)Hearing Zealokan's call, Uar walked towards him and Dekuna.

IC: (Uar)"I say we hit him hard, now, before he levels the place." Uar said quickly to Zealokan and Dekuna, feeling the Skakdi go completely berserk.

IC: (Uar)As he sprinted alongside Zealokan to the Skakdi, Uar fired a stream of Ice at his speed, trying to stop him and make him lose balance.

IC: (Uar)Uar nearly dropped Paygies as he saw a Skakdi charge through the village, leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. The moment he saw the Skakdi charge Dekuna, he turned to Zealokan. Quick, we've got to put her down somewhere and stop him!" he said, gesturing at the Skakdi.

IC: (Uar)"Okay, okay!" Uar replied as he carefully lifted Paygies's limp form by the ankles, helping Zealokan support the weight.OOC: I'm just assuming Zealokan's already lifting Paygies, since he asked Uar to help carry her.

IC: (Uar)"What the --?!" was all Uar could say before Paygies fell to the ground. Quickly recovering from the surprise, he asked Zealokan:"What just happened?"

IC: (Uar)Uar was feeling a lot more at home in the frozen wasteland of Ko-Wahi as opposed to the hot and humid Le-Wahi jungle. "Me, I don't believe in any prophecy. There's no way to predict anything in this universe." he commented on Dekuna's remark, gesturing at the heavens with a wave of an arm.

IC: (Enara)The group had been through enough to forget about her. Good. She slipped through the crowd, her cloak's hood pulled over as to conceal her face, and followed the Hau Karda, which looked like they were going to Ko-Wahi. How the Karz am I supposed to capture a Toa of Ice there?.. Guess I'll have to think of something... she thought.OOC: Enara to Ko-Wahi.

IC: (Uar)"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get going!" Uar said to the group.

IC: (Uar)"You mean Matan and Natan, those craftsmen? I've been a bit out of touch with recent happenings for a while, so: What did they do?" Uar said, a bit bemused.

IC: (Uar)"Now that this is over, I still say we investigate this "hidden lines" business..." Uar said, thankful that this madness was finally over.

IC: (Uar)"Aw, what the Karz..." Uar said as he blocked Paygies's pillows with a shield of ice, flinging a pillow in retaliation.

IC: (Uar)"Come on, that's childish!" Uar responded to Zealokan's suggestion. "Also, didn't you hear about the obelisk?" he continued.

IC: (Uar)"Building a base in Ko-Wahi's well and all, but there's something I forgot to mention. Something was revealed after the hive burnt down. Some kind of obelisk, with the phrase 'hidden lines' written on it. What do you think it is, some kind of attempt to form a hidden rift between the Koros?" Uar said to the group.

IC: (Uar)As he made his way back to Le-Koro and the inn where the rest of the Hau Karda was staying, Uar pondered the meaning of the message inscribed on the monolith at the hive's center. When he finally got there and opened the door, he found the rest of the team mostly in bad shape. "Well, they burned down the hive." he announced, not finding anything else to say.

IC: (Uar)Seeing to time to be wasted, Uar fired a steady stream of ice at Nuju's feet, hoping to freeze him in place.OOC: Uar is shooting a stream of ice at Nuju, hoping to immobilize him.

IC: (Uar)After seeing no one make a move against Heuani even after he had insulted the whole army roundly, the only thing which could shock Uar more was the Turaga's transformation. "What the !#@$ in Karz?.." he said as he tried to recall anything he had heard of Pararuka during his travels. What he could recall fuzzily was: They bonded to their hosts mentally and physically, driving them to feed it, sometimes temporarily transforming them. So, the best solution was to bind them without flash-freezing them or any other type of stasis, so that the transformation would eventually expire. He said to Dekuna next to him:"Can you think of any way to effectively restrain them?"
