  1. IC / Carmera / At the Palace / With Voebius: "Well then," replied Carmera. "It seems they've saved us the trouble of doing it ourselves. The Carver probably will still blame me though. Go give 'em Karz!" IC / Mystiko / At the Outcast Towers / With Reya, Kratep, Takarik and Dekuna / Exploring the Dungeons: "I see," replied Mystiko, pulling out a lightstone from his pack as he followed the four Disrupters down into the darkness. "Well lets hope your newly formed organization doesn't draw too much attention." OOC: We won't find anything on the stairs, Lorax, but we'll start learning more once we reach the bottom. GM IC: The Tahtorak roared at Peya again. "The Carver?! Who is the Carver?! Give me the answer!!" Then it was about to take another step and cause another earthquake, when suddenly it found itself floating in midair, causing it even more confusion. "What is this?! Give me the answer!" It roared, thrashing about in the zero gravity.
  2. GM IC: The Tahtorak looked down at the racket coming from Peya. It stared menacingly at the "Toa of Sonics", then let out a giant roar. "You are the answer?! What have you done with home?!" It shouted. Angrily staring at Peya, it took step forward, causing another quake. Anxious, those in the nearby towers came out to investigate the source of the tremors. OOC: All the disrupters who were at the meeting and haven't gone down to the dungeon, please feel free to come and interact with the Tahtorak.
  3. IC / Mystiko / At the Outcast Towers / With Reya, Kratep, Takarik and Dekuna / Exploring the Dungeons: "All plausible theories," said Mystiko as the Distrupters filed past him and down the staircase, "but positive thoughts lead to positive results. Let's try not to think of everything that could go wrong. "I guess you finally decided that trying to organize the Disrupters was futile, Dekuna, seeing as how you left the meeting so quickly and that no one else came down here with you." Mystiko added. "Come to admit that the best thing to do is to concentrate on finding an escape have you?" GM IC: The Tahtorak slowly looked around. Where had it's friends gone? What had happened to it's home? Why was it so dark all of a sudden now? Angry and confused at all the sudden change, it started thrashing it's tail across the ground. The earth trembled each time it pummelled the rocky landscape. So confused was it that it didn't even notice the small Toa-like creature on it's horns. Everything had changed, so many questions, and no answers. "Give me the answers!" OOC:Sorry, couldn't resist quoting.
  4. As I mentioned in the pm, he's approved. You can post him in the Profile Topic Now.
  5. Interseting. 1. The rule is that the name that the being is given at it's time of birth/creation is the one that needs to be carved into the map. Since most Rahi aren't given individual names, just species names, that's what would be carved. The Carver would just need to make sure he's thinking of a specific creature of the species when he is carving the name. 2. Sure, We've got someone who's half Tunneler, so why not a Krahka.
  6. OOC:I apologize for my absence over the last week, got a little busier than expected here in rl. Let's get this thing rolling again. IC / Carmera / At the Palace / With Voebius: Carmera pondered on Voebius' wordsfor a moment. "Yes, yes of course," she said. "The Carver only ordered me to keep the main gate sealed. There was nothing against making a new 'gate'. Listen closely. Get a legion of your secret inquisitors together, and blow a hole in the wall near the old bridge. Then you and a bunch of your higher ranking officers go in and clear the area, and lock it down. "Maybe we can truly make use of this information, and crush the Disrupters once and for all." IC / Mystiko / At the Outcast Towers / With Reya, Kratep and Takarik / Exploring the Dungeons: Mystiko slowly and silently followed the trio, observing as they explored the dungeons he'd combed over many times before. He was sure they wouldn't be able to find anything he hadn't already seen before. But a fourth pair of eyes and different mind wouldn't hurt, and might lead to different conclusions, so he stayed with the group. He watched as Reya went up to examine the wall and run her fingers over the bricks searching for anything odd. As her hand slid past a brick about midway up the wall, something caught his eye. The brick was white. It was hard to tell because it was so dusty and dirty, but Reya's hand had brushed away some of the muck, revealing the true nature of the stone. Quickly glancing around the room, he looked to see if he could find another brick like it. But no, all the other walls were built up of the regular brown bricks that were plentiful throughout the Map. "Excuse me," he said, pushing past the Toa to further examine the rock himself. He dusted it off, looking for perhaps some kind of inscription. There was nothing. But as his hands moved across it, he felt the stone wiggle. There was definitely something special about this brick. Carefully he applied a little pressure, pushing towards the wall. The brick moved slightly inwards. He tried again, applying more force this time. There was a click as the brick disappeared into the side of the wall. Two seconds later, there was a tremor as the wall began to slide to the left. Mystiko and the others stood back, as the wall revealed it's secret, a dark round shaft. A spiral staircase lead down into the depths. Creeping up to the edge of the stairs, Mystiko looked down into the shaft, the darkness seemed infinite. "It's a long way down," he said. NPC IC / Disrupters at the Outcast towers: "I nominate Dekuna!" "I nominate Taamaska!" "I nominate Zayin! Hey, where's he go?" "Who cares, let's just vote already and get this meeting over with. Everyone in favour of the three nominee's being 'coordinators' say aye!" "AYE!" Shouted over half the room. "Alright, now let's go cause some mayhem!" IC / The Carver / Somewhere in the MU: The storm had finally let up outside. Finally the Carver would be able to finish the business he had started earlier that day. Packing the Map up into his bag. He left his room and headed back down to the first floor of the tavern. With the weather no clear, the room had also started to clear out. Glancing into the corner, the Carver noted that the mysterious Toa he'd seen earlier had left. Nodding to the barkeep, he went outside. With a quick pace he marched down the street and out of town. After about an hour he came to the valley he'd found earlier. The heard of Tahtorak was still there. Making sure he was well hidden, he took out his Map, picked out the largest of the Rahi, and began to carve. GM IC: The horn sounded again as another name was carved into the night sky, this time above the Outcast Towers. The Watchman looked watched the name being carved, horrified at what he was seeing. The name flashed three times, lighting up the sky. Those inside the Outcast Towers couldn't see this, but they sure heard the BOOM that followed as the huge beast materialized outside.
  7. I'd say B. And I can always take more control if it's needed.
  8. Could be. (But there are so many things that are scientifically wrong with intangibility.) As I said, for the sake of the RPG, intangible beings can touch other intangible beings.
  9. IC / Mystiko / At the Outcast Towers / With Reya, Kratep and Takarik / Exploring the Dungeons: "Oh nothing," Mystiko replied to Takarik, falling into step behind the three of them. "Just thought I'd let you know that I've searched these dungeons many times before since I found the legend, and I haven't ever found anything of interest." IC / Carmera / At the Palace / With Voebius: "The Carver doesn't tell me the reasons behind my actions," snapped Carmera. "He just forced me to abandon the towers and to seal the gate 30,000 years ago. There were enough riots when we sealed the gate as it was, can you imagine how bad it would have been if the people knew it was simply because the Carver didn't want us going out there?"
  10. I personally would think that it should be a different plane for everyone (well, mostly everyone). But for the sake of an rpg, I think it's probably best if everyone's on the same plane of intagibility.
  11. OOC: Sorry for my recent inactivity guys. IC / Mystiko / At the Outcast Towers / With the Disrupters: "Suit yourselves," said Mystiko when they started discussing chains of command and leadership. Everyone was slowly moving their attention back towards the front of the room where Dekuna was standing. Everyone eventually had their full attention in the ongoing discussion about choosing the leader. Mystiko stepped backwards into the shadows of the edge of the room, unnoticed by everyone else, and headed for the stairs where he had seen Reya, Takarik, and Kratep go. He soon caught up to them. "Going to search the dungeons for any clues are you?" he asked, startling them. NPC IC / Disrupters at the Outcast Towers: "Hey! Why are you issuing orders, like you own the place Dekuna? We still haven't decided on a leader yet, and besides who's to say you should be leader anyway?" "Yeah. Why shouldn't I be in charge? I was a Sergeant in the League of Six Kingdoms." "You? You couldn't get a flock of Ussal Sheep to follow you!" "Hey!" "Don't you all be startin'." "I don't want to be bossed around all the time! I just want to go around causing mayhem!" OOC: Just to stir things up a bit. NPC IC / Law Enforcers in the shanty town of the city: The Enforcers heard the blaze before they saw it. They turned and immediately sprung into action, shouting. The warning quickly spread through the city. Everyone grabbing buckets of water from their homes. Water Toa began to try and squeeze whatever moisture they could find in the air around them. It wasn't long before news of the fire spread to the Well. And soon buckets of water were coming in from there too. IC / Carmera / At the Palace / Talking with Voebius: If Voebius' information was correct, it was their best chance of striking a blow to the Disrupters. But there was still the main problem. "Look Voebius. You're right, we should go out into the outlying lands and rip those Disrupters to shreds." said Carmera as she paced back and forth in front of the High Inquisitor. "But I cannot authorize it. If you must know, the true reason is not because of the cracks on the edges of the Map, the reason is the Carver. He forced me to seal the gate, and he won't let me reopen it."
  12. IC / Carmera / At the Palace / Talking with Voebius: "Go beyond the gate? No, I'm afraid I can't authorize that. The edge of the Map is too dangerous. The cracks are getting worse and worse. A huge chunk might fall of at any time. What would we do if the whole Inquisition suddenly fell off the Map. The Disrupters would win for sure!" IC / Mystiko / At the Outcast Towers / With the Disrupters: "Well of course. Everyone wants to leave the Map. It's not as though I'm trying to take advantage of you. I'm just explaining what I know about a possible way to escape the Map. If we Disrupters as a group can put aside the thoughts of bringing down the Worshippers and lay low, concentrating on finding a way to escape then we should be much more successful." OOC: That's fine. But just also note that it is currently after sundown.
  13. Oh yeah, sorry. I'd say no the Tryna-Piraka doesn't apply to it's wearer. Edit: By the way, I forgot to mention this last night Lev. Just because no one recognizes him is no indication that he's not a Disrupter. Like I said in one of his previous posts, there are more Disrupters in the city than everyone at the outcast towers know.
  14. Alright, that clears it up. I'll respond with IC's to both characters tomorrow. I'm too tired right now, going to bed. Actually, both spellings are correct (just like both worshippers and worshipers are correct). Though funnily enough, my browser's spell check doesn't seem to recognize either of them. I've been trying to consistently use the "e" version though, it seems I slipped up that time.
  15. Not being a disrupter, I doubt he would have been invited to the meeting, and so wouldn't know about it. But maybe you can go interact with Ferrin, Shadowhawks character. His last post can be found here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=10291&p=576191 Just go check up on his character first over here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=10293&p=572262Note that he is new to the map.Edit: How do you know he's not a Disruptor? He gave no indication of that. Also, I'm not entirely sure what you're getting at with this post.
  16. IC / Carmera / At the Palace / With Voebius: "Ah yes, High Inquisitor. How goes the inquisition?" IC / Mystiko / At Outcast Towers / With the Disrupters: "I believe his name was Farok." "Farok, was captured?!" exclamed the former dark hunter. "Rahi bones!" OOC: Thanks for the NPC Lev. @Lorax: But it can be helped. Like Mystiko said, if they lay low, the Carver will ignore them.
  17. IC / Mystiko / At Outcast Towers / With the Disrupters: The Ko-Matoran scoffed at Dekuna's questions. "Organization? What organization? The Disrupters is just a name given to those who cause disruption in the city. It is no more an organization than an angry mob. I was chuckling earlier too when you said that you had informed every Disrupter of the meeting - an impossible feat. There are way more Disrupters in the city than even you know about. And more even than would fit in this room. But excuse my manners, my name is Mystiko. And if you must know, I was told of this meeting by another Disrupter who unfortunately couldn't make it, due to his unfortunately being caught by the law as he was making his way over here," he lied. "As for my story, I found it written on a tablet in the hall of records a few years ago. I've been looking for people who might know more about it since, but haven't had any luck. Maybe Carmera thought it might inspire more people to disobey her and the Carver by giving them firm hope that there was a way out of the Map and decided it was best to try and make the story disappear. Maybe she had her psionic helpers wipe it from the minds of everyone in the Map. Or maybe it was the Carver himself? The point is, the story exists, and therefore we cannot ignore it." OOC: I like how everyone just ignored my comments about how making ourselves noticed would just encourage the Carver to stop us. Oh, and Shadowhawk. Most of the Buildings are made out of stone. There is some would that would burn, but there wouldn't be that much damage.
  18. I'll be semi explaining things in my next post. Edit: There, go see my latest post.
  19. UI is approved. And the story is true, but Water doesn't know it. I'm working on a post now to respond to Zayin, Dekuna, Water and others, so hold your mahi.
  20. IC / Mystiko / At the Ouctast Towers / With the Disrupters: "It is said that 30,000 years ago a Toa who was imprisoned in the dungeon of this very tower simply vanished in front of his guards eyes. Upon hearing the news, Carmera put the guards to death, and the entire Inquisiton was put on a Map wide search that lasted days. They never found him, and he hasn't been seen since. It is believed that somehow this Toa found a way out of the Map, even though he was imprisoned in the highest security dungeon. It was after this incident that the Worshippers started keeping prisoners in stasis. Over the years, the Toa's name has been forgotten, and it seems even his story has been forgotten, but it is believed he was the very first person to be trapped in this dim world."
  21. GM IC : The final flash of light finally died down, a second horn sounded, and the people of the city started returning to busy lives. IC / Mystiko / At Outcast Towers / With the Disrupters: A small Ko-Matoran stood silently at the back of the crowd as he listened to the speeches being made. Finally he cleared his throat, calling everyone's attention, and spoke up. "Excuse me," he said. "You all have very valid points. Food, Water, military, religion, and a lack of unity in those who oppose them all help keep the Worshippers in power. But you are all forgetting the most important reason they are in power. The Carver. Though, I myself do not believe he is a god, one cannot ignore the fact that he does hold great power over us. He can vastly control and influence all events that occur in this small world of his. He is constantly watching us, listening to us. He's could listening to us right now! He could stop this rebellion before it even starts. Now, I'm not saying that our lives are hopeless. I'm not saying that we must live the rest of our days here in this Karzahni with no sense of free will for the rest of our days. Our one advantage is that the Map is overpopulated and the Carver only pays attention to those who stand out, like Carmera. Taking a seat of power would not help us in the slightest. It would just draw the Carver's attention. He would start controlling us like he does the Worshippers and we would be no better off. Why is it you all think we must disrupt the Worshippers' way of life, or as our watery friend here believes, destroy it. All this just calls attention to ourselves. If we are quiet. If we let the Worshippers and the Carver feel like they have control, they'll stay out of our way, and we'll be able to concentrate on what's important. Escape. As our [Darkness] friend said, everyone shares the same want, the same need for escape. But I am confused when he speaks of making up a method of escape. Has no one here heard the legend of the one who disappeared?" The crowd was starting to become a little restless during his speech. Who was this Matoran who was explicitly condescending their way of life. A way of life they'd upheld for thousands of years. But the problem was, he was making sense. It was the Carver who was the problem, not the Worshippers. OOC: A Mystiko profile will be coming soon. He isn't a Disrupter, and no-one actually invited him to the meeting, but no-one actually knows that. And by the way, Lorax, I love those diagrams you made. Ha ha.
  22. Note that this story prior to the spherus magna storyline. And definitely before the planets became one. I made a typo in the original post, it was supposed to say 2000 years before the great cataclysm, not after.I'm going to have to say no glatorian. Make him a Toa or some custom species similar to a glatorian. Also get rid of the skrall in the bio.
  23. IC / Carmera / At the Palace: Carmera was making her way through the maze of staircases and hallways in the Palace when she heard the horn indicating the arrival of another victim. It was another reason why she spent most of her life in the palace. The Carver was bringing in so many people nowadays, that one could barely go to the market without getting blinded by the constant flashing of names in the sky. Reaching the ground floor she headed for the courtroom. She had a meeting with Judge Japudo to discuss the large outflow of prisoners from the barracks lately.
  24. GM IC:The second flash dimmed and the world became seemingly dark again. A minute later it became extremely bright again for a third and final time.
