As i said before; outline it.

Some professional manga styles have detailed but sketchy styles. I've seen some, and they DO look cool.

Manga doesn't HAVE TO be refined and simple. They can be realistic (but not too realistic, as in the face).

Some Japanese manga artists have even mixed the American Comic style into their art.

D: Really? But your transformer picture was pretty clean. If you want it to seem more crisp, then outline it with different and appropriately sized pens. (Not ball point pens) And then erase all of the pencil markings.
