What is this Project Fusion I speak of, you ask? Well, as a few of you know, at the end of last summer I made a large parts order and planned on using it on a humanoid robot, my inspiration being DV's Transtech Shockwave. My goal in building this MoC has been to expand my building experience into the fusion world (I think I may have overdone it on the lower legs though :/ ), and build a sweet robot fellow at the same time. Thus, the personally dubbed "Project Fusion" (for lack of a better name). Color scheme is white with dark red as a secondary color. Prior to the break I had the "foot" (which is actually a wheel) and a lower leg finished. Over the break I built a completely custom torso which I am extremely happy with. I have a good idea for a head, and I now have a preliminary arm done. In addition, I've mostly completed the leg design (it needs tweaking though). I'm sorry, but I don't have WIP pictures taken and I don't plan on it anytime soon. My break is over now, and I am going to let my LEGO building rest for a week or so; I get a better boost of creativity afterwords, it seems, if I rest for a bit. Personally, I think he's looking quite good, but I'll leave you guys to pass judgment when I finish him. Also, I need a good name for him. Got any ideas? In real life (lol) I had a wonderful break; it was both restful and productive. I finished reading Ted Dekker's Lost Books series (awesome author btw; I would highly recommend his Circle Trilogy), and I finished Metroid Prime 3 (which I loved). My non-profit met it's goal of 24k for three wells in Sudan, so I had a great break overall! GBG

I decided to make Naria my entry for Kylus' ORGANIZED Blog Contest #1. Check it out and leave a comment here.

Which is sad, because I finally made an Astral Bunny Orb for him: ...And then put it on a body for my own intents and purposes. >:3 Please excuse the subpar photography; I was a bit rushed with all this. This right here isn't even all of it.

And most importantly: I'm going to do this like Primus did. Pros: BIONICLE compatible piecesBetter torso than the Inika/Piraka torsosNew pieces in old coloursNew pieces!More cohesive aesthetically than BIONICLECons:ExpensiveExpensiveExpensiveConsist solely of chunky piecesNo pins or axlesTiny feetFeet have the socket facing the wrong way for maximum posabilityHead is goofyClaws can't hold thingsDid I mention these sets are expensive??I want to get a few more for specific pieces, but I'm not interested in the sets themselves. And goodness, these things make me feel like BIONICLE canister sets haven't actually been over-priced!

I am playing with Ben 10 pieces. Nothing serious. I just wanted to see if the torso armour could be used on the Inika build, and look okay. It can. This isn't a serious MOC, and it's not anything special. I don't have but a handful of odds and ends here in Tulsa, as my collection is at school. Apparently in that handful of parts was an almost-intact Lewa Nuva T9. Now he's been re-adapted for fiery environments. Crazy.

I'm putting a temporary hold on the MOC depicted in the WIP photos below so I can cobble together an entry for Kylus' ORGANIZED Blog Contest #1, which entails building a Toa of Psionics. So far I haven't had any really brilliant ideas, but I have pulled out all of my pearl gold pieces (I know Kylus says we can use Keetorange, but I'll be darned if I'm taking the easy way out).

Specifically created to make you wonder. Also, a weapon has joined the fray. 1 2 3

The players are set...now it demands only the stage. T-minus nine days.
-
They have been joined by a torso, head, and arm.

Possibly setting the record for the longest one of my creations has gone between being finished and being posted... In other news, Dr. Horrible songs have been gently wafting through my head for the last three days.

Here is my Tanma Stars MOC: And here is Zesk: Oh, wait...

My brother began learning how to play drums perhaps a month ago. For those who don't know, when learning to play drums, the learner is typically assigned a given amount of time to practice on a 'practice pad,' a small pad of one material or another that makes less sound than an actual drum. Because of this attribute, it didn't bug me much when he practiced on the pad, as he was required to do it in his room. However, the other day, he and my mom dredged up an ancient drum set - dented, rusted, partially dysfunctional - for practice. As it is too large to move into his room, it presently sits in the living room, where I spend most of my time. I'm staring at it now. He came home today and started practicing, and it was driving me crazy. Finally, after much resistance, I retreated to my room and built a foot. It's a big foot, silver and green with a trio of big toes configured like a bird's. It looks cool. That's all, really, for now.

I'm working on an Ice-Planet-coloured MOC inspired by my TOCs, but I can't find the last piece I need to complete it. It's one of those blue Insectoid medium wheels, I have 2 of them, 1 is in the MOC and I'm sure the other was on my desk last night ready to be used. Edit: Found it now. Also, is there anything else that makes an Armaskers MOC an Armaskers MOC aside from a Vahki head?

IMO, 55555's Friction Cycle deserves to win BBCC56. His pin-wheel technique has been testing my patience for the last couple of hours, but I've almost beaten it.

EDIT: Republished for new content - New Set Posted! Pictures of the last three sets will be taken soon! ... The theme is about these two wizards. Scallow is an evil Necromancer, and Charon is a good "Banisher," or someone who sends resurrected dead back to the world of the dead, to rest in peace and not be used as servants of Necromancers. Scallow, it seems, is a very competent Necromancer, able to summon and control mass armies of the dead, instead of only one or two, at a time. However, despite Scallow's skill, he needs some outside help to hold an army of the size he commands. So, the Necromancer does what nobody has ever done before; he tries to gain aid from one of the Greater Dead, the most powerful beings in the world of the dead. He ends up forming a pact with Xethrinn the All-Powerful, King of the Dead, who, unable to come himself, being too large in power to be summoned by any necromancer, sends to the world of the living his envoys, the demon Wraithra, who are essentially tendrils of Xethrinn's essence which he can control. With the Wraithra in his army, Scallow's force of darkness seems invincible. However, Charon, the good wizard, sees of Scallow's strength and power-hungriness, and immediately lunges into action. He makes the sentient races of the living (humans, dwarves, elves) see this problem, and together, all of the living world creates a gigantic alliance, which is led by Charon, due to his expertise in banishing the dead. Charon, as his first act as leader, commissions the building of may war machines, specially designed to be able to permanently re-kill even a Wraithra for good. He also assembles a squad of highly skilled engineers, military experts, warriors, and even the unexpected magical prodigy, to aid him. So begins a great war between life and death... (Just to clear up any possibility for future confusion, this is NOT an official LEGO line. These are my MOCs, which have been built as if they were a LEGO theme.) -Nuju Metru

I didn't vote for myself in the semifinals for the very simple reason that my entry wasn't the best one of the lot. See, I'm not that kind of person. But you can. Vote #3! -Nuju Metru

Basis of the MOC, and the reason I needed copious amounts of Exo-force hands. Original cabin, ditched because it looks like a bus. Original cabin interior. Final entry, before I got my parts this morning. As it turns out, I didn't change as much as I thought I would, so I've got plenty of parts to use for a similar yellow MOC in the future. Minifig before my parts arrived. I think the classic head suits quite well when he's reveling with his chicken leg.
