Bad Company Do you have someone you want dead? Or how about a group of people? Or do you just want a bunker infiltrated and the inhabitants massacred? Than search no further. Welcome to Bad Company. We’re Mata Nui’s crack team for getting the job done/ Base of Ops: We claimed a small nomad herder village in the middle of Po-Wahi. It’s nothing special, just a few huts around a dried well. If you see it, chances are you’re looking at the wrong one – move along. The Rules: It’s pretty shocking that even we have rules, but lo, we do. 1. Do exactly what the boss says or you die. 2. Although psychopaths are accepted, don’t attack another member. Doing so is grounds for sacking. 3. Don’t betray us. If you do, you will die. Miserably. 4. Always complete the mission. We’re the best, so nothing less can be expected. Jobs: We’ll do pretty much anything, for a reasonable price of course. Though don’t come to us if you want some humanitarian stuff done – that’s left to the social workers. We aren’t good people, we’re mercenaries trying to make a quick widget or thousand. Requirements: You don’t just get in the Bad Company, you need a certain set of skills. We’re looking for physical fitness, elemental prowess, combat skills, general ruthlessness, and overall badness. If you can’t meet these requirements, then go somewhere else, maybe even hire us. We don’t claim we’re elite mercenaries. We show it. I've had this MOC sitting around in various forms for a couple of weeks now. Upon rejoining the BZPRPG, I decided Vacir (my Toa of Plasma) fit the MOC well. Sorry for the low quality; my laptop's webcam, while better than the alternative (my cell phone... ugh!), isn't exactly HD...Combat-Ready Pose Stoic Pose I'm too lazy to do it myself, but Vacir's profile is linked to in my sig. Of course, I don't need critique on his character, just his looks :)Constructive Criticism or Destructive Compliments are welcome... wait... Anyway, enjoy! And thanks in advance for the feedback.

I was just throwing around BZPRPG ideas when I stumbled upon what may possibly be my greatest idea yet. Which isn't hard, cause this is really only my second year. (side note: many people seem to think I'm an all-powerful veteran with limitless knowledge and vast experience. Seriously guys. If I were to attend Hogwarts, this would be the year my wand broke and made me start spewing slugs) Anyway, I'm going to start an organization dedicated to the eradication of all "impure" elements on Mata-Nui. This organization will be led by a Turaga named The Elder of Elders, and will quite possibly be a lot of fun. Twisted fun, but fun nonetheless. Or not. But I'm super excited. If enthusiasm were measured in bubbles I would be a bubble machine. Um, so if anyone is interested in a rather racist faction that promises to kill people, let me know. Cause I'd hate to be racist all by myself.

I build a new MOC of my BZPRPG character:This one is a bit more Mata Nui-ish then then the earlier version or the character. The axe is a lot less bulky, and the body is less generic in general.Front ViewGallery (When Public)Edit: Image thumbnailed due to file size. Please keep posted images in BBC to 100 kB.Click on the thumbnail to view the original image.-Wind-

TOA PIROK (If you're wondering, the image above is a prototype. It's based off the line 'We could say he attacked us first'. It's also in my avatar) This is Toa Pirok. If you are part of the BZPRPG, you probably haven't interacted with him. But you may have heard of him. Although he looks very similar to Jaller, he isn't Jaller. (In case you were wondering)While not very original, he is a tiny bit original. I wasn't going to make this topic until Ghosthands suggested it, as I hadn't actually considered it before. (I am also aware that the pictures aren't the best in terms of quality)The main purpose of this is allowing other players in BZPRPG to know what he looks like. [*]Front[*]Back[*]Side[*]Fighting Stance[*]Battling a Mystix[*]"I lost a friend..." (I know this line makes no sense at the moment, but I plan to have a scene based off it in BZPRPG itself)Constructive criticism and praise accepted. Although the former is, admittedly, far more likely. - PtVM

"Drink up, me hearties, yo ho!" And so, after a long wait, I am finally able to present to you: Lohkar! Ta-da! If you play the BZPRPG, you'll probably have heard of Lohkar, and your characters may have run into him at some point. Trouble seems to follow this infamous Lesterin wherever he goes! Lohkar took me quite a while to make, for various reasons. This was mostly because the majority of my pieces are up in the loft, and it doesn't look like they'll be coming down any time soon. I had to order various spares, both from eBay and Bricklink. I also created my first custom-painted Kanohi for Lohkar; see below. Lohkar is probably my favourite of my RPG characters, and definitely my favourite MOC to date. I've managed to MOC him exactly as I first imagined him. I feel I've managed to capture Lohkar's character in his build. I used the Glatorian ankle plates and Mata Feet on his forearms to give a similarity to the baggy clothing typically worn by pirates of our world. I'm also quite pleased with his sword; although some might say it's a tad too large, I think it has a good flow and shape to it. More pics: Front Side Back "Armed and dangerous" "Oh, that Lohkar, he's so dashing!" The Grapnel Gun - quite a gadget "'Ello, Beastie!" Lohkar does like his treasure... Dual wielding...oh yeaah. Lohkar's effects In disguise... Custom two-tone blue Arthron BONUS PICS: "Look what I got!" (Dedicated to The Fearless Leader) "It appears I did not fully understand your point o' view, other than it bein' four feet lower than mine." (Dedicated to Kalama and Ta Rahkshi) Brickshelf Gallery Comments, compliments, and constructive criticism gratefully accepted! Edit: Huuuge 5 MB picture linked. o_o -Wind-

After EW's post concerning evil characters with no affiliation, I found myself thinking about playing a character like that. These characters have, like EW said, been tried many times before, but it's hard to play them well. When you're in a large RPG like the BZPRPG, it's hard to play an evil character well enough to do anything without being connected to one of the major powers. For example, anyone with an evil character now is automatically connected to the Makuta. Everyone assumes that, if you're evil, you're on the Makuta's side. I like a challenge, so I'm keeping this idea in the back of the bean for a while, along with several other characters that I've been thinking of. There's no guarantee that I'll actually play any of them, but I'm definitely intrigued by playing an evil character with no affiliation. The possibilites are endless. Also, all this ties in excellently with an article I read on archetypes earlier today. Some of the archetypes I found quite intriguing, but couldn't think of how I would pull them off. Now I'm getting some ideas. tl;dr I might make more characters. One might be evil. ~Gaga

Because I have physics and math homework, as well as an addiction to the BZPRPG. Also: update! Greed is my most-played character so far. I quite enjoy playing as him. From fighting to kidnapping to haggling with Joske himself, this guy's where it's at. Jaal is getting a bit deeper. I've arranged to have him meet with someone in Ta-Koro to continue the investigation of the explosion in Ko-Koro, so we'll see where it takes us. Hopefully I don't play him too grumpily, or I'll never find anyone willing to team up with him. Kyara is the least-developed, which is fitting seeing as she's also the youngest in terms of creation. She's standing in Ga-Koro right now, learning about Mata Nui and the conflict that's consuming it. Feel free to interact with her if you like. She's in Ga-Koro's main square. If nothing happens, I'll probably send her to some bar next. Finally, I'm considering creating another character. Probably a Matoran. If anyone wants to interact, as always, post here. ~Gaga

For the uninformed, a team of seven evil Toa called the Daedra captured a Toa to hold her hostage. Almost immediately, half a dozen warriors descended on the team to rescue her, even though the Daedra were in the middle of the desert. Anyway, EW speaks truth. -Gaga

Sheesh, we really are popular. ~Gaga

Read this post and the ones below it. Who said the BZPRPG couldn't be funny? I'm having the time of my life. -Gaga

...BZPRPG sure is hopping with activity. There's going to be a lot of reading for me this weekend. Awesome! Hm...I might want to consider writing up some recaps for myself here about the game every week. It would be rather helpful for me to keep track of everything going on for when I finally get the chance to jump in. It could also help others jumping in as well. Although maybe I shouldn't since there will be something like a recap manned by the staff, I believe, and one that going to be in that podcast thing, I been hearing about. *shrugs* I guess I'll just give it a shot and see how it goes. In other related news, I am working on complying some graphs based on character profiles and members to see what most common in the game among other things. Considering the nature of the game though, I'll probably needed to update weekly the Excel Worksheet, I am using for the project. So considering that factor, I'll probably time stamp the graph picture here for week that data was complied. But well, I think it is worth it and the data could help with my other RPG data collection project. Oh, and suggestions on what I should collect are welcome. And as for my character for the game, I still got some fine tuning to do. But hopefully if I am not too busy with my school work, I can get around to at least getting the profile up in the topic (I might wait until I finished my current data collection, so I can possibly chose a less common element affiliation for the character.). Okay, I got to go now, BZPers. I hope those of you playing in BZPRPG are having fun. See ya.

Alright, now some of you BZPRPG members and BoD members may have noticed that little line in my most recent Ko-Terros post, and you may think that indicates I'm going to kill off Astarr, almost directly after I created him. I'm here to tell you something about this... This crazy assumption. You'd be right. I have been trying out characters for a little while with one of my D&D friends. Characters to replace the Old General position. Out of the first lot I made up, Scion won. But, on this forum site, where I actually have to type things instead of LARP, essentially, I noticed he was a bit bland. Didn't turn out as Drill Sargent-y as I wanted. So, I used the second placer, based off of a character from a show I watched. And he turned out to be a whole lot more annoying and even blander and unrealistic then I wanted. So, I did another round of character testing in Modern D&D, and I discovered something. My Cyborg Soldier character, my favorite Modern D&D character would be PERFECT for the job. He is militaristic, has an easily Bionicle-ized back-story, is very BoD-ish. And yet, he fits in with the Black Comedy of the Brotherhood, and his sardonic wit is quite hilarious. He is the perfect replacement for Lyse Arcana. So, Astarr must die, so this new General can take his place... Wait for any updates. Also, The "Bioncile Dollars" topic, in General Art. *Shakes head* Wow. I'd expect more maturity from members that use appropriate grammar.

I was so moved by Nid's speech, that I decided to be a copycat and write my own. This is a thank you to everyone who has ever posted in the BZPRPG, but most especially to: VF, the first member I ever RPed with. He's the one who invited me to begin with. A good friend who no longer RPGs in the BZPRPG. I miss you bud. Marc Spector: Moon Knight(Formerly Evangelion Unit: 04.), for letting me join the Brotherhood of Darkness, as always sticking with me. Lyse became a good friend for Rakatan, and Marc even openly said once that Rak was the "Muscle" of the BoD. That made my day then, and it still does. Thanks so much Marc. Your'e a real friend. Johnny Blaze: Ghost Rider, for RPing with me despite my (obvious) problems. DA, you rule, and you always have. Nukora, for giving Blur a good place to turn, and for RPing with me, despite long distances between you being able to RP. Not to menion giving Blur his primary love interest, and throwing all kids of fun in there. You rule Nukky. Good ole Admiral Seraphim, for his comedy, and all his IM help. Thanks Sera. Dwin. Man, you rock, and you roll! Hikan, thank you so much for all your help, and for the fun with Aeunder. Thanks. And finally, sorry if I missed anyone, but there's one to go... Nid. Nid, you.....(Man I'm tearing up...) NID YOU ROCK, ROLL AND KEEP ON GOING!!! Nid, you brought me into the BoD, inspired my best character, and changed my life forever. I deeply, deeply enjoy your friendship. I never would have stuck around if not for you. So... Thank you, so much. Thank your Nid. Again, Thanks. -Raptor, out.

Well, this blog came about just in time! Now you guys can keep track of the progress with my Super Arc. For those of you who don't know, in the BZPRPG, I have been building up onesingle Arc since day one. Slaving over it, building it, forging and molding it into what I needed it to be. My work has almost come to fruition. After all this work, I'm only waiting on a few things. What's that? You still don't understand? Okay, how about a recap. Rexarda Shadowson, a Nogan(A race made by my good bud Nid), has betrayed the Brotherhood of Darkness(Who aren't near as dark as they seem. More Nuetral.) Rexarda joined the Exiles, a group led by the evil Verkai. In his mad dash to escape, he killed the Cyborg Rakatan Mark II, Toa Karatan and Turaga Shrieker. Karatan' brothers have recently heard of this, and are already working on gathering together for vengeance. Meanwhile, the three demons, Sever, Cleaver and Lanceler have been reborn, and are determined to cause as much havoc as they can. When Rexarda's best friend, Veritar, finds out about this, he determines to kill Rexarda, and the Demons. Meanwhile, Rexarda's old enemy-turned ally, Aeunder, has decided to kill Veritar for the sake of reclaiming the best friend title. Blur, one of Karatan's two living brothers, has taken an oath of pain to kill Rexarda. Blur, Rakana, Ace, Veritar, Rakatan and Xanak are all gunning for Rexarda, who will claim the prize? -Raptor, out.
